Cebu City Hostels

The place is nice, but the AC seemed to be broken? At first it sounded as if it's working but no cool air is flowing, the remote control is turned on with a 17degree temp, only when I try to reach the AC using the chair it's never turned on as the power button logo says it's OFF, could've save us some trouble if it turns on automatically just like any other hotels when the room/power key is inserted LOL

Convenient location and decent rooms, not very spacious but with a private bathroom. Excellent value for the price. However, the Wi-Fi is terrible; relying on the hotel's internet is impossible. You have to ask for room cleaning multiple times. During my stay of almost a month, I only requested room cleaning twice, but each time I had to remind them repeatedly and wait for more than a day. Nevertheless, they always tried to be polite to us. Security and other staff always greet you, help with heavy luggage, and answer questions.

We stayed at Travelbee Fuente Inn for three nights, and overall, it was a pleasant and budget-friendly experience. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Fuente Osmeña Circle, making it convenient to access restaurants, shops, and public transport. The room was simple but clean, with comfortable beds and fresh linens provided daily. For two people, the space was cozy yet sufficient. The air-conditioning worked well, and the Wi-Fi connection was reliable throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with requests or provide directions. Housekeeping was consistent, and we appreciated the quiet atmosphere inside the inn despite being in a busy area. While amenities are basic (no elevator and limited parking), the affordability and accessibility make up for it. Travelbee Fuente Inn is a great choice for travelers looking for a clean, safe, and convenient place to stay in Cebu City without breaking the budget.

I like that the location is close to the event I have attended. The staff are also friendly and approachable. It would have been better though if there were toiletries provided like may tissue. I like that there's available hot and cold water. I will still come back though. I still have plans of getting a room here on my next events.

When you go there, be sure to ride a taxi caused the place is around a private area and there is a lot of dogs in the neighborhood. Some of their gates are open and dogs did came out. Inside the place is quite, good for sleeping. The food is great and the servings are big. Roads are accessible going in and out though narrow. A good place to stay, before heading out to the South of Cebu or visiting Magellans cross, Sto. Niño, Colon Street (oldest street in the Philippines), Tops, Temple of Leah, Malls, etc. Highly recommended.

We stayed one night after a flight. The only amenities provided were a single-use shampoo, soap, and a towel. No other toiletries were offered. There was no hairdryer, neither in the room nor at the reception. No refrigerator in the room. The air conditioning worked well, but it was too loud, even after being turned off. Breakfast consisted of 1 egg + 1 sausage + bland rice + coffee + a glass of water. NO TEA. No complimentary water in the room. Water (0.5L) at the reception cost 20 pesos. The internet worked well.

I stayed here because we were planning to visit the nightmarket and location was the best option. Cozy and homey. aircon has a bit of noise and room is not soundproof but its not noisy. pillow and bed is a bit hard it aint fluffy but its okay. i was able to rest :) staycation indeed and i honestly think the staff are so nice and friendly totally appreciate them i was not able to drop by the restaurant i decided to go with foodpanda.

A good budget hotel for one two nights between flights or relocations on the island. Good and responsive staff. Always in place if not on the second floor, means at the entrance on the first. The only minus is the cockroaches. They are. Different sizes: from small to huge. If you don't get touched, then it's great. The sensitive will be uncomfortable. That you don't get in the night, leave the light in the toilet and open the door to the room. All the bags were kept closed to keep them home. Well, no food left.

Bohol Island came across a recommendation from a latent friend, the boss' mother went to China, and the boss could speak Chinese. The room was very clean. I left after transitioning to one night. There are supermarkets around and barbecues. I'm lucky, one room per person, I don't know what it feels like to be full.

One of the two power outlets in the room wasn't working. They provided a power strip with a Chinese plug and two Chinese sockets. If I hadn't bought a universal adapter in advance, I wouldn't have been able to charge anything. The power was out from 12 PM to 11 PM. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but it's worth mentioning... Overall, it's cramped even for one person. The key feature of this place is its location by the port; you don't have to spend money on a taxi again. Supermarkets are within a 10-minute walk, which is generally fine.
