"I like the fact that room reservations per night is very affordable. The price is really cost friendly though the overall service is not that good but I would understand since they have limited personnel. On the booking side, the one posted in this platform is we can have 2 queen beds or 1 queen bed depending on the room availability, but when we arrived, the room accommodates 2 single beds or 1 double for standard type. The advertising is misleading and disappointing. I suggest you update your post and be transparent with your customers. Thank you."

Anonymous UserThis was by far the most satisfying hotel stay I've ever had. Firstly, the price was incredibly reasonable, yet the services available even before check-in were extensive, making my arrival comfortable from the very first moment. I also used the bar and had afternoon tea; both the atmosphere and service were wonderful, allowing for a truly luxurious experience.
The room was spotless, and the facilities and comfort were impeccable. The direct connection to a shopping complex made shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Furthermore, with a casino on-site, there's plenty to enjoy without even leaving the hotel.
From service and location to facilities and value for money, everything was outstanding. Without a doubt, this was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. I definitely want to come back again.

ash13Stayed at Holiday Inn Cebu for a short night before an early departure, and it was a pleasant experience. Despite arriving after midnight, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The room was new, clean, spacious, and very comfortable—especially the pillows, which made for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was good, although a wider variety of options would make it even better. We didn’t get much time to explore the hotel’s facilities as we checked out early the next morning, but we’d definitely love to return and stay here again.

Guest UserFirst off, as other reviews mentioned, the lobby guard was very friendly and opened the door for us. The breakfast was decent, and the facilities were cleaner than I expected. However, this price point just doesn't feel right for a hotel in Southeast Asia, LOL. One thing that was disappointing was that the shower drain was clogged. Even after just one person showered, the water overflowed, and since there's no threshold in the bathroom, it almost flooded the bedroom/entrance area. When the second person showered, they had to turn the water off periodically. I wondered why it was clogged, and then I saw that after the first shower, the shower filter was about a third full of hair/gunk. I specifically chose this place because other hotels had reviews about hair in the drain, but this one didn't. Turns out, it was even worse here. At this level, they must be getting a lot of complaints, especially for a 5-star hotel. This should be a mandatory cleaning item every time, but it wasn't cleaned. It was astonishing that a manager had to come the next morning and clean it with a toothbrush.

Our Valentine’s stay at Citadines was truly memorable. The place had a warm, cozy, and relaxing atmosphere—perfect for spending quality time together. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, making us feel at home right away.
What stood out the most was the excellent service. The staff were polite, friendly, and always ready to help, which made our stay even more pleasant. The overall ambiance was calm and romantic, exactly what we were looking for during Valentine’s.
Thank you, Citadines, for a lovely and stress-free stay. We truly enjoyed our experience and would definitely love to come back.

We stayed here for one night with my wife, our two kids, my mother, and a friend, and it was a wonderful experience for our whole group.
Excellent Location: The direct connection to Robinsons Galleria mall made everything so easy for our family. We didn't have to worry about traffic or the weather when we wanted to go shopping or grab a meal.
Spacious and Clean: The rooms were incredibly spacious, modern, and clean, giving us all more than enough space to relax. The beds were super comfortable after a long day of travel.
Friendly Staff: Every single staff member we encountered—from the security guards to the front desk—was polite, smiling, and incredibly accommodating to our needs.
It's a perfect choice for families traveling with kids and elderly parents. We will definitely book here again the next time we visit Cebu City!

Sk112187Occasion: Family trip (my wife, 2-year-old, and I, totaling 3 people). I booked this hotel because I wanted a luxurious stay near the airport where we could relax.
Location: It's about a 20-minute taxi ride from the airport, and having a shopping mall right next door was a big plus. However, outside of the mall's operating hours, there's nothing else around, and I felt a bit concerned about safety walking around at night, so that's something to be aware of.
Food: The breakfast was a lavish buffet with a great selection of Japanese, Western, Chinese, and Filipino dishes. The variety of cheeses and sweets was abundant and delicious.
Service: Everyone was incredibly kind, and their service towards my child was particularly outstanding. Their responses to my inquiries before arrival were also prompt, which put my mind at ease.
Room: It was clean and spacious enough. There were outlets conveniently located by the bed. There wasn't a bathtub, and the room's ambiance felt more suited for a business trip, in which case it would be perfectly satisfactory.
Personal opinion: I would recommend this hotel to couples visiting Cebu for the first time. For families, I felt that a few more recreational options within the hotel would be nice. However, breakfast was thoroughly enjoyable for families too.

We had a wonderful stay at the Marco Polo Plaza. The hotel offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the views from the Nivel Hills are absolutely stunning. Our room was clean, spacious, and provided the perfect environment for a relaxing getaway.
What really stood out, however, was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly professional and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. From the delicious breakfast buffet to the well-maintained pool area, everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be returning!

MargaretPerry11/10. Been booking with Diane for quite some time, my partner and I. This has been our favorite hotel in Cebu, and we are gatekeeping it lol
But in our recent stay, I feel like we were not supposed to have the correct room that we're supposed to get, but not really sure about it. I booked a Superior Room with a City view so we can watch some fireworks during Christmas Eve, but when we came into the room, the window was a small one, and when we tried to open the window, we could only see equipment outside blocking the window and the view; the window was forced to just open maybe just 5 inches and that's it. I don't know what City View I was supposed to see. Overall, that's just my only concern. The girl from the reception wearing white did not seem happy (those that are in green uniforms are fine, I love them and those in the dining area even in the rooftop - but the girl in the reception that day idk whats with her) when giving us the room key, she was smiling a little bit, but I could feel she wanted us to just go and disappear in front of her.
Overall, we just brush it off and moved on with our day and enjoyed the view from that little window and the from the rooftop. We still love Diane's and will still keep recommending this to our friends and family ofcourse. 11/10.

One thing to note is that room cleaning is only provided every 3days. Depending on the number of guests, the floor can quickly collect hair and dust, so we asked if we could borrow a broom to clean the room ourselves.
The housekeeping staff themselves were kind, but I do hope the hotel can be a little more flexible when responding to simple guest requests like this.
On the positive side, the location is excellent. Even without an in-house restaurant, there are plenty of places to eat nearby, so it’s very convenient and never a problem finding food.
