GGuest UserMy stay at Grand Hyatt was exceptional. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and attentive, going out of their way to make my stay comfortable. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Highly recommended!

- The gym is the best I’ve seen in the Philippines (see pictures)

Cons
- minibar is woeful (see pictures)… one snickers bar, one bag of M&M’s when I paid for a room for three people.
- TV’s are too small in both bedroom and living room.
- There are two small lights under the bedside cabinet each side of the bed that are literally impossible to switch off at night..
- The Davidoff shop has a smoking lounge which is more of a cheap cafe than a lounge (see photo). The alternative smoking area in the hotel has no seats and not really very pleasant either.
- The road noise from outside late at night and early in the morning is completely unacceptable.
We booked the best room available and the notice late at night ruined our stay so much we checked out a day early instead of accepting a DOWNGRADE as all of the Premier Suites overlook main roads and crossroads! Not exactly ‘luxury’.

CChrissy YThe description of the apartment is incorrect and misleading information provided. We were being advised ”If you wish the 3 br I suggest cancelling the reservation and rebooking and book the Standard Family Suitee” which we did and it turned out that the third bedroom that we have is a utility room,, with a washing machine and just a ventilation fan in the roomwith no windows and very small, and it mentioned 2 futon beds which was wrong. Instead there was a bunk bed. The room was stuffy, smelly, no air condition. We ended up renting another room for the third person as the utility room is not liveable. It will be good if it is fully indicated that the third room is in such bad condition in the description instead of putting misleading information. Very dissappointed with it as it doesn't match what mentioned though the service of the staff are good, very helpful, but still not able to do anything. The other 2 rooms are normal and up to our expectations.

GGuest UserWe had a little challenging experience at first during check-in. I informed that owner that we were coming for check in around 1am. Coming from abroad, I had no sim card nor internet. The security guards were kind enough to call the owner using their phone. However, the owner NEVER ONCE answered our calls. Although, when I messaged them in the website, (I had to use my out-of-state roaming which I know will charge me extra), they were quick enough to get back to me. My only question is what's the point in having a contact number when you can't even answer your phone? The self check in process would have been smoother if they answered our calls. Other than that the room was really nice. Very clean. We enjoyed our stay here and wished we stayed longer.

LLimor14Good thing is the hotel is located in uptown shopping area a walking distance to shops & restaurants.
The problem was the ACU in the bedroom 2 is leaking, there were roaches roaming in the unit. The shower is not draining properly and only 1 tissue was provided, you need to buy in the nearest shops.
Pay parking per day is P300 which is cheap.
You can request a checked out time at 12nn, instead of 11pm while waiting for your transport.

CCupOfJoeHotel Review: Brittany Hotel BGC (Stayed October 1, 2025)
I booked Brittany Hotel BGC purely for convenience since my appointment at the KVAC Korean Visa Center was scheduled the next day—and it happens to be located inside the same hotel. The property is also right beside SM Aura, making the location a huge plus.
Parking & Check-In
Parking was free (validated upon check-in), though spaces were very limited—by noon there were only a couple left, so arriving later might be tricky. Reception staff were warm and attentive, and I appreciated that my room was ready before the official check-in time. The lobby itself was modern and pleasant.
Room & Amenities
The room was clean and the bed comfortable, though far from five-star quality. The carpet in the hallways looked old and worn, which cheapened the overall feel. The bathroom layout was practical, with separate areas for toilet, shower, and sink, though the hairdryer placement made it awkward to use. Amenities were basic—kettle, beverage fridge, and coffee sachets (which were very poor quality). I ended up buying coffee at 7-Eleven instead. Small maintenance issues like chipped walls were noticeable, but not a dealbreaker for a short stay.
Service
Staff were consistently polite and greeted us whenever we passed by. The in-room phones weren’t working, but a QR/Viber system was available for requests, which I didn’t end up needing.
Breakfast
Breakfast was decent overall (7/10). Options included pastries, an egg station, Filipino dishes, congee, and noodles. I enjoyed the garlic rice and local dishes, though the pastries felt a bit stale and the bacon/ham weren’t great. Coffee from the percolator was watered down but still better than the sachets provided in-room.
Overall Impression
If you’re after convenience—especially for KVAC appointments or quick access to SM Aura—this hotel works. But for the price point, you can find more premium stays in BGC (e.g., Ascot or Seda). It’s not a bad choice, just not one I’d recommend for a staycation or if you’re after luxury. For me, it did the job because of the location.

The room is really clean and the fragrant of the room is really relaxing. The shower room and the toilet are separate. The staff are really accommodating and are always smiling. The drinking water is refillable.
