LLuquanliuruThis is absolutely a hidden gem! I was driving from Jinan to Datong, planning a two-day trip, and decided to stop in Laiyuan for a rest. I never expected to find such a beautiful courtyard; I didn't want to go back inside while strolling around. The owners, a husband and wife, were incredibly welcoming and patient, and they had a whole yard full of flowers and plants, including a century-old peony. They even bought some local specialties for breakfast, which was delicious and very satisfying. In the evening, I watched the large-scale light show with iron flower fireworks and water jetpack performances at Laiyuan Lake, along with a band performance. I didn't feel tired even after playing until 10 pm. It was even more fun than a planned trip! I regret not taking more photos of the guesthouse; it was very clean. I would definitely come back again.

The first time I stayed at the store, it was a budget hotel. The hotel is located in Xiong County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. The transportation is convenient. There are convenience stores, snack bars, fruit shops and supermarkets around. The environmental facilities of the store are not bad in all aspects, the front desk staff is warm, the service is thoughtful, the room type is very quiet, and you can rest well at night. Before I went there, I read reviews and there were three activities that children can play for free. However, when I arrived, I asked whether water fights and fishing gear activities were free and there were charges. Moreover, I didn’t see the fishing gear activities, and there was no water fight because it was opposite the accommodation. The water in the creek is extremely turbid. I must say this. There are basically no children playing in the water. The water in the creek is too unclean. There is nothing for children to play in Shiguang Garden. In the evening, Shiguang Garden has a big screen with karaoke and a bonfire party. I want to talk about this bonfire. After booking the accommodation, I asked the staff and they said that it will be there only if someone lights a bonfire. Even bonfires also require flowers. The money is not free. On the night of the Dragon Boat Festival, the staff lit the fire and just piled a small handful of firewood and lit it. No other activities were organized. I imagined that the bonfire party would be for everyone to sing and dance around the torch, but there was no such thing. There is a small mountain behind the accommodation observation deck that can be climbed. The overall feeling is that except for the clean and satisfactory accommodation environment, there are no other supporting activities. There are fees for fishing gear, water fights and bonfires, and it can be said that these three items are basically impossible to play. Before going there, I took my whole family with me and was looking forward to this trip. I was a little disappointed when I arrived. If I only focus on the quality of accommodation and choose her place to play, I can only drive to other places in the surrounding area. There is nothing to do in the accommodation place.
