"The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and sleepy, the front desk service was warm, the travel was convenient, the price was super high, and I would stay next time! The guards not only guard it diligently, but also develop it into a base for Great Wall education, exhibition, cultural relics protection and research with the public welfare enthusiasts of the Great Wall. He explained in detail the origin of the Great Wall, the history of the Ming Dynasty, the fortress barrier of the Wuzi Great Wall, and the beacon fire of the Great Wall during the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. Then he looked up at the Great Wall gun tower outside the window, and the history came to life. It is so meaningful to bring children to live here. You can also watch the stars at night, and it is also great to play in the water for dozens of kilometers along the line in summer! ! The internal facilities of the room need to be further improved, but the environment and atmosphere are really perfect! !

PPauOHanlonI believe my friends and I spent Christmas eve here. Being an exchange student from England, far from home, and my friends and classmates from Latvia and Cambodia, we needed somewhere homely and comfortable to stay. This place was exactly what we needed.
We stayed here for one night in the middle of winter as part of our road trip from Beijing to Wutaishan, following the sections of the Great Wall. We turned up after dark, we were welcomed with a big smile and slept with ease after the long drive.
In the morning I woke up early, found a spot in the courtyard garden and opened my Christmass cards. The owners dog immediately rolled over to be petted and for the next hour I had good company, drank tea and enjoyed the peace.
The owners awoke to find me outside, probably thought I was a ****** and so, immediately lit their fire in the garden. They saw me drinking tea so got the iron kettle boiling over the heat of the flames. My mates awoke to this and joined me and the boss by the fire. The outside temperature was negative, but we were warm, happy and ready for the day ahead - exploring Baishishan. The boss also showed us his great tea collection.
I want to thank the owners for a short but great stay and I highly recommend. I would like to come back in spring to see their courtyard in full bloom.

GGuest UserI went with my dog, and the room was great and very clean. The food was also delicious, haha! The guesthouse could directly contact the Yedian boat catering service, and the journey was very smooth! Although we arrived at noon, a boat returned after only half an hour. The food was prepared in the guesthouse kitchen, wrapped in cling film, and brought directly to the pier for the boat. The guesthouse is also very close to the pier, so the food was still hot when we ate. The boatman was very friendly, and the landlady was warm and attentive. She even gave us a bag of salted duck eggs before we left, which was perfect for a foodie like me.

KkeymistressThere are many hotels and B&Bs here, but after considering the price, room design and conditions, I finally chose Yeyouyun. Although it is a little expensive, the room design and location did not disappoint me. The room is very clean and well-equipped (electric mosquito coils, bath towels, toiletries...), and you can see the owner's care. The shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are all very fragrant. The bed is also very comfortable, the beds are of good quality, they are high threadcount, and you can sleep very well. The design of the hotel is the same as the official photos, so you can rest assured. There is also a cafe/bookstore nearby. The proprietress and the waiters are very friendly, and there is also a little dog that is so cute. A very satisfying experience!

The hygienic environment of the hotel is very good, very clean, the rooms are fresh and elegant, and the service of the hotel staff is very enthusiastic. Before I went there, I read reviews and there were three activities that children can play for free. However, when I arrived, I asked whether water fights and fishing gear activities were free and there were charges. Moreover, I didn’t see the fishing gear activities, and there was no water fight because it was opposite the accommodation. The water in the creek is extremely turbid. I must say this. There are basically no children playing in the water. The water in the creek is too unclean. There is nothing for children to play in Shiguang Garden. In the evening, Shiguang Garden has a big screen with karaoke and a bonfire party. I want to talk about this bonfire. After booking the accommodation, I asked the staff and they said that it will be there only if someone lights a bonfire. Even bonfires also require flowers. The money is not free. On the night of the Dragon Boat Festival, the staff lit the fire and just piled a small handful of firewood and lit it. No other activities were organized. I imagined that the bonfire party would be for everyone to sing and dance around the torch, but there was no such thing. There is a small mountain behind the accommodation observation deck that can be climbed. The overall feeling is that except for the clean and satisfactory accommodation environment, there are no other supporting activities. There are fees for fishing gear, water fights and bonfires, and it can be said that these three items are basically impossible to play. Before going there, I took my whole family with me and was looking forward to this trip. I was a little disappointed when I arrived. If I only focus on the quality of accommodation and choose her place to play, I can only drive to other places in the surrounding area. There is nothing to do in the accommodation place.
