"I visited Wutai Mountain for Qingming Festival to pray for blessings and chose this newly opened guesthouse. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with mountain views right outside the windows. From the lobby to the rooms, you could feel the thoughtful design – simple, flowing lines and high-quality materials. The lighting was soft and warm, and the overall style was sophisticated. The butler was welcoming and offered travel suggestions, and the breakfast was also good. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations; highly recommended."

GGuest UserThe staff is very friendly and the location was nice. Unfortunately the price/value ratio wasn't good because facilities are a bit old but it was our fault, it was a super busy weekend with very high demand (also we don't recommend to visit Wutaishan on weekends if you can avoid it)

HHu.laoshiThe hotel is nice, very close to the South Gate, less than a ten-minute walk. It's a great choice if you're not driving. There are many noodle shops on both sides of the entrance, and breakfast is also available. The rooms are clean and hygienic, with disposable towels, and the hot water is very convenient. Highly recommended. Also, the scenery at Wutai Mountain is beautiful. Today is the second day of the ***** New Year, so there were many tourists. Climbing to the top of Dailuo Peak was quite tiring. The steamed buns with sauce at the market below are delicious. If you have time, you can stroll around at your leisure.

The boss is very good, stayed for about 20 days. The first time I lived in the room downstairs, I changed to the room upstairs when I lived. Especially warm, the boss is very good. My brother's feet were broken, but when I returned to Beijing, I was broken. Thanks to the boss's reminder, I must go to the hospital to check it. During the stay, the temples in the core scenic area of Wutai Mountain were almost all worshipped. When returning to the room, the boss will make up the water. It is very convenient to go to the core scenic area from the homestay. If there are Tibetans staying, it will be particularly lively.

GGuest UserThe room was cozy, and I loved the tatami-style decor. It was clean and hygienic. There was a beautiful welcome fruit. Breakfast was special oat noodles, which the kids loved. The inn also has a very cute little dog, who was very friendly. I took a walk in the nearby wild forest this morning; it was very peaceful. Mount Wutai itself is strangely bustling with people and cars, yet it never felt noisy. The inn is relatively secluded, but it's also conveniently located within walking distance of attractions. In the evening, there's a night market with a wide variety of affordable and quality goods, making for a great find.

GGuest UserI often come to Mount Wutai, and after seeing the recommendation from Ctrip, I booked a newly opened homestay: it is located in the most prosperous Yangbaiyu Service Area in the scenic area. The homestay is right there after you park your car nearby. The lighting on the first floor is a little blocked, but the second floor is bright and spacious, with antique decoration and exquisite details, much like the lay Buddhist building in a certain temple.
The room is decorated with solid wood, the linens are comfortable, it is a brand new room but has no smell, it has floor heating and is equipped with independent air conditioning, so you can control the temperature yourself. The boss, Xiao Dong, seems very down-to-earth. He recommends some routes, makes travel guides, and also provides tour guide services. However, since I come here so often, it is useless. The store offered tributes, and the boss personally took us to the Wuye Temple to burn incense. It was very good service, five stars for encouragement!

GGuest UserThe room was surprisingly clean and tidy, especially the bed – a 1.5-meter single bed that was incredibly comfortable. Other places only offer 1.2-meter single beds, making this a clear winner. The guesthouse provides disposable toiletries, bottled water, a smart toilet, and a 24-hour multi-functional shower. Parking is very convenient, as the guesthouse is located within the scenic area, close to many temples, and there's a bus stop right outside, making it easy to get around the area with 24-hour bus service. The owner is a very welcoming and friendly young man. We arrived with our dog in the early morning, and he personally came out to meet us and help with our belongings. The staff is very pet-friendly, making it a truly satisfying stay. I would definitely stay here again if I visited Wutai Mountain; I was very happy with my stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel makes a perfect 3-night stay for us. Perfect in every sense. The lady proprietor so efficiently and willingly planned the entire stay for us upon our arrival, booked (and paid on our behalf) the whole-day bus tour of all the 5 mountain sights, drove us to the starting bus depot, and even arrange our remaining private car routes to Pingyao, Taiyuan, Datong and Beijing. I absolutely recommend this place to stay, especially if you are foreigner and not familiar with Wutaishan, and all the logistics, you can be sure you will get all the help you need from this hotel, and your stay will be an enjoyable one.

HHanqing～yanIt feels so good to live halfway up the mountain. You can overlook the panoramic view. You can also watch the night view directly from the small terrace. The hot water is very good. The boss is also very helpful. He added a WeChat message in advance to let him know how to get there. In the morning, there was a little orange cat begging for food. JJiangnandehaiInitially, I was very satisfied with the environment and the landlady when I checked in. She was kind and generous, even giving me a discount at the restaurant and thoughtfully reminding me not to order too much so I wouldn't have leftovers. The showerhead and sink in the bathroom were relatively new, not as old as some previous reviews had mentioned. However, as expected, an unexpected incident occurred. We agreed to check out after lunch at the restaurant downstairs at 12 PM, but the staff threw all the sheets and blankets out of the room around 11 AM, even though our luggage was still inside. The elderly woman working there started swearing, saying she was just a worker and that we had to listen to her insults. What kind of logic is that? Did I pay to stay here just to listen to her swearing? What's the connection between being a worker and swearing? We were planning to eat lunch at the restaurant downstairs, but the staff member made us extremely upset, so we packed our things and left. I promised to give the landlady a good review, so I'll give her one this time. We go to Wutai Mountain to worship Buddha every year. He's kind to people but won't tolerate being insulted. Honestly, based on this old waiter's attitude, I'll have to think twice before staying here again.
