GGuest UserThe expression of various languages is very pale - only if you have experienced it will be remembered deeply, Nanman Nanman is definitely the best choice for Wutai Mountain this time. In order to slowly experience the extra night, from the early morning sun to the nightfall, I am not willing to miss it. Breakfast can choose the c-point in front of the window. The sun is very comfortable. The small courtyard can see the stars at night. The terrace can see the distant mountains during the day. The beautiful window view in the guest room is as comfortable as the painting. Multiple public spaces in the room can be experienced in detail. On the first day after dinner, we found fruit on the top of the rich tree placed in the shared space. The first time we saw the rich tree, the result was amazing. It was a different experience. Many places can see that the manager is very careful in detail. A lot of them definitely surpass the stereotype of a five-star hotel. Although the space is not large, whether it is soft decoration or space utilization, they are very attentive. The service staff are also very kind. After the experience, they recommended it to friends and everyone likes it. I hope that the manager will continue to improve and improve. Next year, we will come with friends. We suggest that we find a lot of bird's eye view in the morning. We can add some feeding projects in the yard to supplement the birds and make the guests do some merit. It is also a good experience 🙏.

1118528****This trip to Shanxi was fortunate to stay at Wutaishan Jingshe Guanshan B&B. The B&B is located in the Wutai Mountain Scenic Area. The decoration style of the B&B is simple, the rooms are cleaned very clean, the breakfast is delicious, and the millet porridge and Taiyu sauce taste good 👍. The owner of the hotel is very enthusiastic. After adding WeChat, he helped to make an appointment for the vehicle to enter the venue and help book tickets in advance. It also provided us with the best route, which perfectly avoided the restrictions, so that we could have a better experience in visiting Wutai Mountain. The proprietress also enthusiastically recommended the restaurants around the hotel, so that we can have a full meal after a tired day. I will recommend friends to come next time I have the opportunity.

LLailaiwangwangkanshijieI went to Mount Wutai by chance during the May Day holiday. I checked out many homestays and finally chose Tingshan. I added him on WeChat before I set off, and it was already past eight in the evening when I arrived. No matter what you need or when, the housekeeper Yin Yin will respond to you promptly. Along the way, from dinner time to the need to enter the mountain, the conditions of the journey were explained clearly and concisely, which made people feel at ease. I was even happier when I arrived at my accommodation. The entire homestay was beautiful and quiet, and the staff were very nice and answered any questions I had. We stayed in two room types, each with its own characteristics, but the ”courtyard” room at the back was more comfortable, especially when the temperature suddenly dropped and we turned on the fireplace, drank tea and chatted with our family, and looked at the distant mountains. It was very comfortable! Besides that, the apples in the room are really delicious and sweet! The black tea is also very delicious! After returning home, my father said that they would go next time too.
I wish Tingshan gets better and better! See you next time! ❤️

The boss is very good, stayed for about 20 days. The first time I lived in the room downstairs, I changed to the room upstairs when I lived. Especially warm, the boss is very good. My brother's feet were broken, but when I returned to Beijing, I was broken. Thanks to the boss's reminder, I must go to the hospital to check it. During the stay, the temples in the core scenic area of Wutai Mountain were almost all worshipped. When returning to the room, the boss will make up the water. It is very convenient to go to the core scenic area from the homestay. If there are Tibetans staying, it will be particularly lively.

TTAN BOON LIANG BERNARDThis is our first time visiting Wutaishan and we stayed here for 5 nights. We came here by a direct bus from Beijing and the hotel picked us from the bus terminal in Wutaishan. The hotel driver was helpful and polite. We were greeted by 2 pleasant front desk ladies upon check in. We received a beads bracket gift and welcome fruit plate .
During the first day we had an issue with the air conditioning unit in our room and they changed our room the very next day.
The hotel is located just off a busy street with lots of restaurants and shops. There is also a shuttle bus stop just around the corner. There are many famous temples here all within walking distance from the hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food is delicious and we had a meal served in our room.
The lady boss (who we didn’t meet) provided us with information for our trip planning and helped us to book a land tour of the 5 mountains.
Lastly we would like to compliment the 2 front desk staff, the 2 cleaning staff and the driver for their enthusiastic attitude and service.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

MM315819****I often come to Mount Wutai, and after seeing the recommendation from Ctrip, I booked a newly opened homestay: it is located in the most prosperous Yangbaiyu Service Area in the scenic area. The homestay is right there after you park your car nearby. The lighting on the first floor is a little blocked, but the second floor is bright and spacious, with antique decoration and exquisite details, much like the lay Buddhist building in a certain temple.
The room is decorated with solid wood, the linens are comfortable, it is a brand new room but has no smell, it has floor heating and is equipped with independent air conditioning, so you can control the temperature yourself. The boss, Xiao Dong, seems very down-to-earth. He recommends some routes, makes travel guides, and also provides tour guide services. However, since I come here so often, it is useless. The store offered tributes, and the boss personally took us to the Wuye Temple to burn incense. It was very good service, five stars for encouragement!

AAnonymous UserLocated near to Taiyuan town bus station. Can walk to the hotel from bus station, or if u tired of walking, can take the public bus from 普化寺 stop to 友谊路口 stop. (FOC, all public bus in Taiyuan Town does not need to pay bus fare). Only one bus stop to the hotel.
Very good location. Walking distance to the centre of Taiyuan Town temples. Cos, public buses sometimes are packed, Can choose walking if not tired. Traffic jam in the morning too.
Outside hotel is shopping street of the town. Hotel are near to 3 vegetarian restaurants. Can buy flowers baskets and fruits baskets from the shopping street flower n fruits stores if u wanna offering to Buddha. Flowers baskets are huge, price from RMB80. Fruits baskets RMB100. If buy from store outside temples, price might be more than shopping street price.
The hotel boss and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Always distributing bottles drinks to us when we leaving hotel.
Helped us book van to wutaishan mountain 5 terraces. And helped us book car for our one day trip out of the central, to the temples which are not so accessible by public buses (清凉寺，金阁寺, 竹林寺 and etc). Car booking half day trip is RMB300, full day RMB500. Recommended to book car, less walking up slope, driver can park car straight to temples car park.

GGuest UserOt's a small boutique hotel . The room was large and new looking. It had a small living room with comfortable chairs. The bathroom is average size with good hot shower.
The location is very good with easy access to restaurants and grocery shops. Be aware that everything concerned with food is just that little bit more expensive than other cities in China. But I guess the cost of hauling everything up to wu tai shan is costly.
The hotel is also close to the central bus station.
The manger Tong Tian Tian was most helpful. She came to pick us up from the bus station, helped us to book a day tour of the 5 mountain temples. ( which had to be cancelled halfway due to a snowstorm on the mountain tops, where the main temples were.
She then helped us to get our partial redunds.
And then helped us to book bus tickets for onward travel to Datong.
She was really helpful. On our first day she dropped us off at a temple nearly 20 mins away.
So top marks for her customer service
The hotel is a little short on the normal facilities like gym , small room fridge in the room, a restaurant ( so no breakfast )

HHanqing～yanIt feels so good to live halfway up the mountain. You can overlook the panoramic view. You can also watch the night view directly from the small terrace. The hot water is very good. The boss is also very helpful. He added a WeChat message in advance to let him know how to get there. In the morning, there was a little orange cat begging for food. SSolo Traveler BainIt was a great pleasure to stay at this hotel. They provided anything I needed including heater, laundry service, help with the taxi booking and so many other things.
They even allowed me to stay the lobby to work on my project on my laptop when I had to check out and there were no places to work.
Location is nice, right next to restaurants and not far from main temples.
If you need help with climbing up all five peaks or just book a bus ticket, they will happily assist you.
Also, if you don’t speak Chinese, it’s fine as long as you use a translator. It might be a small challenge but overall communication was possible.
For a solo traveler, this was a great place to stay. Highly recommend!
