Wutai County Hotels with Breakfast

My wife and me stayed there for 5 nights in Oct/Nov 2025. The location is good and away from the hustle and bustle of tourist activities. It’s in a quiet location and you can do your hikes up to 凤林禅寺, one of the rare few operating monastery with quietness and serenity in the area. The staff there are friendly, welcoming and professional. Room was cleaned thoroughly and the snacks in the room replenished daily. Their vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner is simply awesome. I look forward to it everyday. The chef 赵师傅 is a master in creating delicious vegetarian meals. The other staff worth mentioning are 茵茵,阿文,宝珠and小王. The only thing they can improve on is to consider installing a self-service laundry room with a dryer. Will return if I’m visiting 五台山again.

This hotel is incredibly popular, and we were lucky to snag a room. The room itself was very spacious. On the day we checked in, it was raining on Mount Wutai, and the mountain views outside our window were shrouded in mist, creating an almost transcendent atmosphere. The hotel manager and two other staff members we encountered were all very charming young men. They kindly helped us with our luggage, carrying it up and down, and also gave us great recommendations for places to visit. Their attention to detail was truly thoughtful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful. When we checked out, they walked us all the way out of the hotel, waving goodbye, and repeatedly cautioned us to drive carefully due to the fog and rain, which we found incredibly touching. If possible, we would definitely love to come back again. Just two minor points for improvement, if I may: firstly, the pillows were a bit too soft, which isn't ideal for someone with neck issues; and secondly, it was quite cold that day, and the heating hadn't been turned on yet, so the toilet seat was a bit chilly.

The homestay I chose this time is in the scenic area, very close to the south gate, and the location is absolutely perfect! You can drive to Wuye Temple and Shuxiang Temple in 10 minutes. The room is designed with log style, the mountain view on the roof is very good, sitting on the rooftop and drinking tea to see the scenery is particularly healing. The boss is a local, sent a detailed pilgrimage guide in advance, and also helped to make an appointment for the vehicle to enter the mountain, saving a lot of trouble. The bedding is clean and soft, the bathroom has a smart toilet and aromatherapy, and the details are full. If you come to Wutai Mountain to play, I highly recommend this one, the price is super high! (The boss is too enthusiastic, has been recommending all kinds of delicious food, as well as tourist routes, help with luggage, next time I come to live here!) Hygiene: clean

Go to Wutai Mountain to find a peace of mind, settle down in this homestay, and calm down the fatigue of the journey. The Zen courtyard is quiet and elegant, and you can see the clouds and mist of the green mountains by pushing the window. You can listen to the birds in the morning, smell the breeze at night, and integrate with the tranquility of the whole Wutai Mountain. The rooms are meticulously clean, softly decorated and comfortable. They are especially healing when they return to the room for a day. Brother Xu and the housekeeper are warm and thoughtful, and the accommodation is thoughtful and suitable. A meditation trip, from living here to complete. For our Spring Festival holiday trip to Wutai Mountain, we booked the Huazhu Duicui Pavilion B&B in advance through Ctrip, specifically for its value for money, and it certainly didn't disappoint. On the evening of the second day of the ***** New Year, we drove up the mountain from the North Gate and arrived at the B&B smoothly. The location was excellent, just a short distance from the roadside, quiet yet convenient, with easy parking and charging stations nearby. The B&B was spacious and warm from the moment we entered. The lobby and common areas were grand, like a luxury hotel. Check-in was smooth, and the staff helped us with our luggage upstairs to our room – excellent service. The room was spacious and bright, with two 1.35-meter beds, enough for a family. The underfloor heating was excellent, the decor was tasteful, the bedding was new, clean, and the facilities were complete – everything was perfect. Breakfast, though simple, was hot and filling. When we needed to get to the attractions, the B&B thoughtfully arranged transportation to the nearby bus stop, which was very thoughtful and truly five-star service. The overall environment of the B&B was very nice, and the cats were adorable, which my child loved to play with. Overall, the Duicui Pavilion B&B in Wutaishan offers excellent value for money and is highly recommended.

This birch forest guesthouse was such a great choice! ✨ The location is excellent, making it easy to walk or take a car to all the temples. The room was clean and tidy, and the soft bedding made for a wonderfully restful sleep. The fresh air system throughout the house made for a very comfortable stay. The facilities are new, and the decor is elegant and peaceful. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. As a family traveling with kids, we felt safe and relaxed. I highly recommend this place when visiting Wutaishan!

Extremely satisfied! The guesthouse's underfloor heating was wonderfully warm; compared to the November heat outside, I really wanted to stay inside! 😆 The triple double room was incredibly comfortable and clean. The owner is kind and helpful; he guided us on our route before we even left, helped us book transportation, monitored our arrival progress, and patiently explained how to explore the area, providing a very detailed itinerary. The next day, we went to Dongtai Peak to watch the sunrise, but unexpectedly, our car broke down around 5 am. The owner found a solution for us, personally driving us to a repair shop and arranging for someone to come and fix it. He was a lifesaver, ensuring we didn't miss the magnificent sunrise. We are so grateful! All my colleagues in the group were very thankful and insisted on giving a positive review! If we visit Wutai Mountain again, we will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others! Great and very nice!

This is our first time visiting Wutaishan and we stayed here for 5 nights. We came here by a direct bus from Beijing and the hotel picked us from the bus terminal in Wutaishan. The hotel driver was helpful and polite. We were greeted by 2 pleasant front desk ladies upon check in. We received a beads bracket gift and welcome fruit plate . During the first day we had an issue with the air conditioning unit in our room and they changed our room the very next day. The hotel is located just off a busy street with lots of restaurants and shops. There is also a shuttle bus stop just around the corner. There are many famous temples here all within walking distance from the hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food is delicious and we had a meal served in our room. The lady boss (who we didn’t meet) provided us with information for our trip planning and helped us to book a land tour of the 5 mountains. Lastly we would like to compliment the 2 front desk staff, the 2 cleaning staff and the driver for their enthusiastic attitude and service. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

It was my first time to go to Mount Wutai. I was a little confused after reading the guide. There were many problems with every hotel. I finally chose this one, thinking that it was at least relatively close. The whole family was very satisfied with the result. The room was super spacious and there were many original crystal ornaments. The view was probably the best. The Big White Pagoda was under construction and the Small White Pagoda could be seen. It is very convenient to park on Dailuoding and Dicos, and it is also very quiet at night. The car entered Wutai Mountain but failed to make a reservation. We entered successfully under the guidance of the boss. All in all, I am very satisfied and have recommended it to my friends. I will continue to stay at his house next time.

Excellent! It's very close to Wuye Temple, so you don't have to rush around early in the morning. The owner and staff are very helpful and patient. You can ask the owner's wife if you have any questions. The food selection is comprehensive and the taste is authentic. The rooms are very clean, and there's a buffet breakfast with a good variety. I highly recommend it! The owner offers discounts for dining and staying at the hotel.
