GGuest UserExcellent stay! The room is spacious and luminous. Close to buses, beaches, etc. Meals are delicious, home prepared with care. Bouddika is very helpful and interesting. He will do everything to help and show you around. Definitely an excellent place to stay for solo travelers, couples, families, etc. High quality. I will be back for sure! Thank you for having made my last days in Sri Lanka so special.

GGuest UserExcellent little spot by the beach, in our opinion this end of the beach was much nicer than the main Dikwella bay. Clean, calm and quiet - everything you could ask for. The hotel has private sun loungers which are always empty and available.
The hotel food is great, the pizza is cheap and absolutely amazing. We tried surf lessons with an excellent surf school next door which was great fun.
The rooms are basic, but comfortable and clean - totally fine.
Hiriketiya is just 5 minutes down the road in a Tuk Tuk and to be honest this beachfront is much nicer than Hiriketiya which we found busy, touristy and dirty - but there are some great cafes, shops and restaurants to head over for in the evening or morning.
Casa Smeralda staff were helpful and attentive - they always went above and beyond to be helpful and kind.
Overall, I would highly recommend this stay to anyone who wants a peaceful, calm beach hotel to relax in!
Side note: delivery apps did not work to this location but there are plenty of local restaurants to walk to.

SSergei TelkovA beautiful place. The hotel is located right on the shore of the ocean, all rooms with balconies and ocean view. Staff is very hospitality, helped carry bags, cleaned the room at request and always smiled. I would like to note the hotel manager, Darya. met in the hotel at the settlement, told about the hotel, about the surroundings where and what you can see, always was in contact.
Hotel restaurant, just wonderful. All the dishes (mostly Italian) were very delicious. On the last day, at our request, the cook cooked a set of Sri Lanka national dishes, it was great.
All additionally served the bread basket, butter.
The pool is clean, warm.
Rooms with good repair and normal furniture. Air conditioning worked quietly. The plumbing is in good condition.

GGuest UserThe room directly faced the beach and the sunset, which was incredibly beautiful. It shared the same sea view as the neighboring Global 100 Villa Hotel. The hotel's location was a bit hard to find, but following Google Maps worked perfectly. The only downside was a power outage at night; this small hotel didn't have any emergency measures. If you used a flashlight, many small insects would fly into the room, so we just had to wait quietly on the balcony for the power to come back on.
