"We stayed in a small guesthouse with only five rooms, rented for 15 years by a Russian and a Turkish couple. They even made us Turkish coffee when we arrived, and I chatted with them often. They were very welcoming and helpful, trying their best to meet our needs. Monkeys and squirrels kept running around, begging for food. Breakfast was optional; since my travel companions wanted noodles, the two owners specially cooked plain vegetable noodles – we were already being very kind to them, haha! 😂 If judged by our standards of comfort and high cost-effectiveness in China, it might seem too simple and not modern enough. However, it was very clean and refreshing. If you don't travel frequently, I wouldn't recommend booking here, as Chinese tourists often have their own standards, such as wanting spacious, modern, and high-end facilities, which might not fit this description. The best part is enjoying the tranquility of the courtyard, having drinks and chatting with the owners, and being able to go for walks.
(Picture 1: The 2000-year-old house still looks so new. Everywhere you look are centuries-old historical buildings, requiring annual renovations to maintain their good condition due to the dampness caused by their proximity to the sea.)"
