"The Shiguangli Homestay on Mount Emei is absolutely fantastic! The rooms are spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and feature a modern decor. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit that comfortably sleeps 4, and the separate rooms provided excellent privacy. The private balcony was perfect for enjoying tea and taking in the beautiful views. A hearty breakfast was delivered right to our room, and parking was very convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we'll definitely be staying here again on our next visit."

"This guesthouse was a wonderful and heartwarming surprise! I arrived quite late, around 10:30 PM, and the front desk attendant came out to greet me and even helped me with my luggage to my room. The entire guesthouse was spotless, and my room was also clean and tidy. For breakfast the next day, they asked if I wanted it delivered to my room or served in the restaurant. I chose room service. Honestly, I really, *really* recommend this guesthouse. Staying here just made my trip so much more enjoyable. Highly, highly recommended! Five stars!"

The hotel is located in a unique location, within walking distance of the Shangzhong Specialty Food District, where you can find all kinds of local snacks in Leshan. It is very convenient to travel and find food. The hotel adopts a minimalist and quiet aesthetic design, mainly promoting panoramic riverside rooms, with large floor-to-ceiling windows that capture the magnificent scenery of the three rivers, making it perfect for taking photos.
The hotel has a total of 44 rooms with a variety of room types, including quiet king room, quiet twin room, river view king room, river view bathtub suite, etc. The room area is 30-45 square meters. The whole house is equipped with King Koil mattresses, smart bathrooms, and minibars, which balance the comfort and atmosphere of living and traveling, making it the best choice for visiting Leshan, watching the river, and admiring Buddha.
"I stayed at this hotel in late January. I didn't pay attention to the details when I booked, but there was road construction directly in front of the main entrance, making it inaccessible to vehicles. I had to take a taxi to a residential area near the back of the hotel. I was quite disoriented when I got out of the car and had to search a bit before finding the main entrance. My first impression was a bit disappointing; the surroundings didn't seem very good. Some rooms faced the residential area. However, the front desk staff, both the young man and young woman, were incredibly friendly. Their warm smiles made up for the initial disappointment. They even helped me switch to a room with a partial river view.
On the second day, when I went out, I realized that this location would be excellent if not for the road construction. It offers river views, and a snack street with many well-known eateries is just a 10-minute walk away. It's incredibly convenient for exploring and dining. If the road construction is finished, a stroll along the river would be quite pleasant.

"The hotel is in a great location right at the foot of Mount Emei, very close to Baoguo Temple. The hygiene is good, and the rooms are clean. In the evenings, they have an outdoor hot spring where you can enjoy the view while soaking. There are also recreational activities like mahjong and chess. It's a really good environment for a relaxing getaway."

GGuest UserThe hotel is located relatively near to Emeishan High Speed Rail Station and the hotel conveniently provides pick up and drop off service upon guests' request, though Mandarin communication skills may be required. It is however possible to contact the hotel through the Trip.com message portal to arrange the pick up service. The room was very pleasant and well furnished with amenities. My only gripe is the toiletries provided (soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion) are limited in small bottles and had to be carefully rationed. They also provide free breakfast which I found to be quite satisfactory, though don't expect a Western continental breakfast. Got to try chaoshou wontons and corn leaf wrapped Baba for the first time, so that was good. You can ask to copy Buddhist scripture in the dining hall or they can send the kit to your room at your leisure. The public hot spring was under maintenance, but it was satisfactory enough to use the private hot spring in my room. Overall a very lovely stay. Staff are also very helpful in recommending the sites, attractions, food and how to get around, though Mandarin again required.

MM255329****This was our second stay, and my child absolutely loves it! The hotel grounds are huge, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend with kids. There are plenty of family-friendly activities every day, and we even caught a bonfire party on Saturday during the winter, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed! The service was very responsive, and the butler even upgraded our room, which made us so happy!

The hotel seems to have been open for a very long time, and the renovation appears quite old-fashioned. However, this doesn’t significantly affect the overall cleanliness of the hotel, although some areas might not be as clean due to the age of the building. During our stay, the toilet bowl was clogged. We informed the front desk before leaving, and the issue was resolved by the time we returned. The breakfast is average with limited options, but every morning a staff brings it to our room. Since the breakfast is free and included, there isn’t much to complain about. Overall, this place is value for money.

MM355679****We got a free room upgrade, and the owner is super nice and beautiful! The room was very clean, spacious, and unique, with a separate toilet and shower. Breakfast was also included and delicious. It's really close to the Emei Mountain Tourist Center, just a 5-minute walk away. It was a bit rainy that day, and the owner was incredibly helpful, reminding us to buy shoe covers. We were also able to store our luggage, and the owner even drove us to the station! It was just fantastic, and I highly recommend everyone stay here. There's no need to pick a place near Leidongping because private cars can't even go past the Zero Kilometer parking lot anyway. You still have to take the scenic bus to go up the mountain. From the Tourist Center, it's a two-hour bus ride to Leidongping. Then you can hike up (to the monkey area).

GGuest UserIt is a few minutes away from the visitor center, and there are restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. There is a bus at the visitor center. When you arrive, you can go to the visitor center to consult and plan your route, which is much more convenient. We had breakfast at the hotel before going, it was totally in time, and we didn’t have to queue for the scenic bus, which was really nice. The child has very high requirements for accommodation. She likes this hotel very much. There are no mosquitoes that she hates. There is a bus stop next to it. It is only ten minutes away by taxi from the train station. After playing, it is very convenient to go directly to the train station to buy a train ticket to Leshan. Okay, I’ll do it again next time

GGuest UserFirst of all, let's talk about the service. The owner's philosophy is the key to a B&B. Before arriving at the store, the owner will take the initiative to ask if you need to be picked up at the station, which is a good comment.
Secondly, let's talk about convenience. The B&B has its own professional kitchen and restaurant, so it's totally fine if you want to stay at home for a few days. However, the quiet environment means you're far away from the downtown area. It takes an hour to order a takeaway, so you can buy things in advance before you go.
The focus is still on the environment. The several houses distributed in the small valley next to Baoguo Temple are really quiet and seem to be out of this world.
Finally, a few small suggestions. There are many insects in the mountains. It is recommended to light mosquito coils or put a few mosquito lamps in the garden on the first floor during the activities of the staff, so that you can enjoy the environment more comfortably. Clean the dead corners of the bathroom regularly.

GGuest UserVery clean and modern room, and the staff were very friendly. We arrived super tired after hiking and were so happy to have a comfortable bed with a good mattress and everything we needed. It was also very convenient that we could eat dinner directly at the hotel, and the food was tasty.
The only thing that could be improved would be providing complimentary water to guests. Usually we received it at all other accommodations in China, but here we had to buy it downstairs.

GGuest UserThe accommodation at Leidongping was rather basic. It was good that our upstairs room had an external window, so it wasn't damp and didn't have any musty smell. However, the facilities were definitely old and outdated, but it was tolerable for just one night. The main drawbacks were the poor sound insulation and the inconsistent water temperature, which kept fluctuating between hot and cold. I hope the owner invests in some much-needed upgrades!
