Wuyishan Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"We were in Wuyishan for a chat and tea at a friend's tea house, and booked this hotel last minute for an overnight stay. When we arrived late, our reserved room had a facility issue and couldn't be used. However, the hotel quickly arranged for us to stay at their sister property, Guanlan, right next door, and even upgraded our room. The butler was incredibly helpful! The hotel environment is lovely; stepping out onto the balcony, you're greeted by mountains and a stream. All the bathroom fixtures are Kohler, and the rooms have smart controls and even underfloor heating, which was a pleasant surprise! Being close to the mountains, the underfloor heating addressed my concerns about dampness. The AC also adjusted temperature quickly, and the toiletries smelled great! The hotel is a courtyard villa that integrates a tea house, brunch, and guest rooms. It's fully equipped and away from the hustle and bustle – a perfect spot for a vacation! Highly recommended!"

"A delightful surprise during my trip to Wuyi Mountain! Guanlan Shuyuan is nestled along the Chongyang Stream, offering breathtaking views of lush mountains and clear waters right from the window. The designer villa style is incredibly photogenic, and the private balcony is perfect for enjoying tea and the scenery. The whole-house smart system is super convenient. The bedding was so soft, I had a great night's sleep. Housekeeper Xiao Chen was very attentive and even brought welcome fruits. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Wuyi!"

"The room was great, with a large window and a tea table. The staff were friendly, and the small landscaped areas within the courtyard were particularly beautiful. It's a wonderful place for a relaxing vacation. The location is excellent; you can just walk across the street to see the Da Hong Pao show. In the morning, the lady in charge of breakfast warmly asked for our suggestions on the food and accommodation, which was very thoughtful and super commendable! 👍 We'll definitely come back if we get the chance!"

"The hotel is beautiful and in an excellent location, very close to the show and the town center. We were incredibly impressed by Ms. Wu Qiong, who kindly arranged an upgrade for us to a newer tower. Our new room was more spacious and featured a balcony with a stunning, direct view of the mountains. She was exceptionally helpful and kind, even going out of her way to provide complimentary breakfast for one of my children. "The hotel is clean and bright, the rooms are tidy, and the location is very close to scenic spots and food streets. But what I want to praise the most is the service. It completely changed my preconceived notions about old-brand five-star hotels. The service level far exceeded many international chain five-star hotels, and the experience was truly exceptional! After booking, I called to explain that there were elderly people and children in our party and hoped to arrange rooms on the same floor. The manager didn't hesitate at all, immediately made a note, and arranged it properly. Later, they patiently and meticulously answered all sorts of questions about the weather, transportation, and so on. Throughout our stay, the staff proactively showed care, always paying attention to our experience. When it was hot, they would thoughtfully ask if we had enough drinking water. Their response speed to requests was fast, and their efficiency was super high, with impeccable professionalism. Communication was handled through the hotel's official work WeChat, with the duty manager rotating daily. I never knew the specific identity of the contact person, but every staff member was professional and attentive enough to take care of guests thoroughly in all aspects. The only small expectation I have is that the breakfast variety could be richer. The guests on the same floor were all very good, with no late-night comings and goings or loud noises, so I didn't encounter any noise insulation issues. I sincerely recommend this place to my friends and family, and I will choose to stay here again on my next trip!"

"We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Breakfast dishes were not replenished when we were there at 9am for three mornings. However, the congee and eggs were enough for us. We walked to the entrance of the Wuyishan National Park (about 1.5km) and also walked back from Impression Da Hong Pao (about 1km) after the show at night. We enjoyed walking so the distance is not an issue for us."

"We love our two night stay at Hexiang hotel, bedding and bathroom is nice and confortable. The room is pretty new and particularly clean with everything you need. About 20 minutes’ walk to Wuyi Square or Y6 didi ride there. Staff service is great too, highly recommend if looking for quality accomodation."

"Traveling to Wuyishan during the off-season was wonderful; the autumn scenery was absolutely stunning with everything golden-hued. I specifically chose a guesthouse to better appreciate Wuyishan's natural beauty. Shuizhuang No. 8 Guesthouse is truly nestled within a park, offering distant mountain views and a close-up look at the river while you sip tea and admire the ginkgo trees right outside your door. Not only is the scenery beautiful, but the surroundings are also quiet and comfortable. It's conveniently located with great transport links, and both the dining and accommodation are excellent. The service is warm and courteous, and the staff are very prompt in providing assistance. I'd highly recommend staying here over a hotel!"

"Before setting off, I searched for many hotels in Sangu Old Street on Ctrip and eventually settled on Impression Grand Hotel. I initially booked an elegant twin room on the fifth floor, but after reading reviews, I learned that the fifth floor isn't directly accessible by elevator. So, I found the hotel's number online and called. The owner readily offered me a free upgrade to a business room with elevator access. When I arrived at the hotel the day before yesterday, the owner kept his word and immediately arranged two business twin rooms for me. During this process, the owner patiently had staff accompany us to choose rooms until we were satisfied, which made us very happy and content. The hotel rooms are quite spacious, clean, and tidy. The hotel's location is quiet despite being in a bustling area; you can't hear any outside noise when sleeping, and the soundproofing between rooms is also excellent – no sounds from neighboring rooms at all. The hotel breakfast is plentiful, offering both Chinese and Western options with a wide variety. The hotel is only a 10-minute walk from Sangu Old Street. We stayed for three nights, and the overall experience was great, mainly due to the incredibly enthusiastic owner and staff. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent value for money."
