Tilajari Hotel Resort
"Good stopover hotel. It is larger than expected. Great surroundings."
The Royal Corin Thermal Water Spa & Resort - Adults Only
"The front desk guy seemed a bit clumsy. The hotel room was average, but the hot spring was pretty good."
Hotel Mountain Paradise
"Spacious, clean and tidy rooms with excellent service from the hotel staff. Highly recommended"
La Fortuna Lodge by Treebu Hotels
"The Lodge was so amazing and the staff was so friendly. Includes a free breakfast that is fantastic, a clean room, and is located right in La Fortuna but away from the most touristy areas."
Hotel Rancho Cerro Azul
"The room was a dream come true. A very cozy and pleasant stay. The service was outstanding. The laundry service was spotless, and dinner at the hotel itself was excellent, as it's one of the most highly rated restaurants in the area. 10 out of 10"
Baldi Hot Springs Hotel & Spa
"Baldi Hot Spring Villa is located in a superior location. There are many hot spring pools in the park. The supporting scenery is unique and suitable for all ages. It also provides children's swimming facilities."
Arenal Roca Lodge
"The best budget hotel in La Fortuna. No problem getting there by taxi. The view from the window is incredible."
Volcano Lodge, Hotel & Thermal Experience

The Springs Resort & Spa at Arenal
"Very nice and beautiful hotel, built with high-quality materials and a great design. However, my biggest disappointment was that a 5-star hotel did not provide complimentary water in the room, instead selling it for $4.50 per bottle. This is especially surprising in Costa Rica, considering that the room costs over $1000 per night. It feels quite disappointing and even greedy that they are unwilling to meet basic international standards of service. In my opinion, the management should take inspiration from hotels in Asia and the Middle East, where guest service is often much more thoughtful and complete. I felt that instead of providing small essentials as part of the service, they were trying to charge extra for everything, which negatively affected the overall experience."
Tabacón Thermal Resort & Spa
"The hotel is perfect for bringing kids, and the breakfast is delicious. There are a lot of activities for kids, such as milking cows, picking eggs, riding ponies, and picking vegetables in the vegetable garden. The hot springs are also very clean."
Nayara Gardens
Nayara Tented Camp
"My family of 5 just spent 4 nights in a family tented camp, and it was truly amazing! The “tent” was nothing short of luxurious, as was the entire sprawling, lush property. We especially loved the hot springs area, where there are a series of secluded pools, and a great bar complete with swings as stools. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful and readily available. Delicious food and drinks to complete our wonderful stay!"
Hotel Arenal Rabfer
Hotel Secreto la Fortuna
"Thank you to the hotel front desk for patiently helping us book bus tickets."
Hotel Arenal Country Inn
"Very nice, quiet park to relax after hikes and excursions. The pool is very large and has plenty of space around it. The bungalows are very spacious and adequate, the only drawback was no kettle or coffee machine. We felt very comfortable here and extended our stay by one night."
Fortuna Retreat
"The service was extremely poor; there was practically no service. There were ten washing machines next to the room, making it incredibly noisy. The natural environment was okay."
Hotel Arenal Lodge
"Great, especially good service, good dining"
Hotel Las Colinas
"It's a very ordinary backpacker hostel. I stayed in a room with a bathroom. It was too simple, but the location was okay."
Palo Alto Glamping Hotel
"We discovered Palo Alto Glamping quite by chance. What a pleasant surprise it was! We stayed just for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. It was lovely. The best part of the hotel is the staff. Every single staff member was so friendly and enthusiastic. Dinner was really good! Special shout out to our waiter Anthony! He was wonderful. My husband and I had massages on the day we arrived – they were so good, we promptly signed up for one more massage each, the next morning! Overall, a lovely stay!"
Amor Arenal Adults Friendly
"The room is beautiful, but for a more natural feel, one window has no curtains. People who have trouble sleeping should take note."
Viajero la Fortuna Hostel
"Amazing place to stay. I’ve been there like 3 times already. So good. Very chill vibes and amazing people. Convenient location very close to everything. The beds are clean and the staff is friendly. The tents are an instagram picture must do"
Arenal Waterfall Lodge
"The jungle lodge was magnificent, with huge windows allowing us to admire the nature and animals. The tropical rain at night created a cozy atmosphere, and the kitchen had everything we needed! Unfortunately, the hotel was undergoing renovations, so we weren't able to enjoy it, but the hotel gave us a tour of the suspension bridges, which we were very happy about."
Arenal Volcano Inn
Hotel Monte Real
"The hotel is in a great location, right in the center of town. The sanitation and service are very good."
