Hotel was in an OK location with many of the tourist attractions within walking distance. Room was adequate and clean. Our shower door was broken so water went everywhere unless you held on to the shower head.
Breakfast was very limited with no fruit or salad available.

The hotel is a bit old, but the location is great. It's right above a pedestrian street and not far from the main road. Breakfast was pretty standard, but the Wi-Fi was really bad.

Very friendly service,excellent location, walking distance to station 5min,direct train to airport for 0.80cents.
Plenty restaurants and bars around.
Room was basic but cleaned,coffee tea facility.
Room got very hot but you can open the window, only downside was not hot food available for breakfast as bemmari was broken.
Good selection of ham and cheese which was enough for us to start the day.
Will be returning as location was the key for us.

A comfortable hotel in a great location. It has everything guests need. However, the air conditioner needs cleaning.

The hotel's location is great, and it's a traditional Russian-style hotel. However, I might have booked a subpar room. It was small, the mattress was hard, and there was no air conditioning, so I woke up feeling hot in the middle of the night. I had to sleep with the window open. Also, the breakfast was just average. Since I only stayed one night in Bulgaria, I can't compare it to other hotels, but I'd say this hotel is equivalent to a 2-3 star in China.

I stayed here four nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The hotel is an older, classy, clean, establishment with spacious rooms, a wonderful breakfast buffet with numerous choices, as well as coffee’s, cappuccino, espresso. The staff were all very friendly and professional. The shower had the best water pressure of any hotel I’ve been in. It is perfectly situated with local shopping, restaurants, and the numerous top sites of Sofia within walking distance. It is absolutely a great value for the service they provide. My thanks to the staff for a wonderful four-day day here and beautiful Sofia, Bulgaria.
