"The whole family came to Hua Hin to relax and chose the family suite of this hotel. The room and bed were large enough, and the facilities were a bit old, but they were cleaned every day. Not far from the beach, not far from various restaurants and shopping malls, very convenient, just walk, saving taxi fare! It is also very quiet at night, suitable for families with children."

UUlllaaaThis hotel is huge and has its own private beach, which is perfect for an unobstructed sunrise view. We were incredibly lucky to even see 'blue tears' (bioluminescent plankton) during our stay – it was so dreamy! There are also many classes available to choose from daily, and several restaurants, with a wide variety for the breakfast buffet. Although the room facilities are a bit dated and there's the inevitable dampness from being by the sea, the warm service and delicious food made for an excellent holiday experience. Overall, it's highly recommended. We basically just relaxed at the hotel for our entire three days in Hua Hin. And the hotel's Barai Spa? It truly lives up to its reputation as one of Asia's best! Definitely worth trying if you're in Hua Hin.

KKAKAVWANGThe hotel's location is super convenient with a mall right at the entrance. The SPA on the third floor of the mall is almost identical to the Marriott's resort-style SPA, and it's very relaxing, though reservations are a must. The mall itself has a great selection of clothing stores, restaurants, cafes, and bubble tea shops.
The staff quality is on par with other Marriott resort hotels, which is to say, very good.
The restaurant and bar by the hotel beach are perfect for photos.
I tried every restaurant. At the main restaurant, the tiger prawns served for dinner were dead. They wouldn't refund me, only offered to cook new ones, which took an incredibly long time. I had to wait for my prawns even after finishing the rest of my meal! The other two restaurants were just so-so and not worth the price. There are plenty of Western restaurants on the main street, just a short walk or taxi ride away, that are delicious and half the price. The bar in the evening is very pleasant.
The circular swimming pool, which connects to the main pool, is incredibly long. Swimming two laps with the kids felt like I lost a whole size from my waist – the pool gets a big thumbs up.
Unfortunately, my child ended up with severe vomiting and diarrhea, and after returning home, tested positive for a viral infection. I'm not sure if it was the food or the water quality, or just my child's lower immunity, but it's a reminder to be extra careful with very young children when they're playing in the water and eating out.
I visited during peak season, so the value for money wasn't great. It might be a better option for a three to five-day stay during the off-peak season.

Our stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort Hua Hin was truly unforgettable. The moment we arrived, we were swept away by its old-world charm — grand colonial-style architecture, amazing gardens, and the most welcoming smiles from the staff. It felt like stepping into another era, where time moved slower and everything was a little more beautiful.
Our room was spacious and elegant, with all the comforts you could ask for. (Bathrobes were not in the closet, but with a phone call to reception , the robes were delivered promptly to our room). Love the beach bag that they provide during our stay.
The resort’s location is unbeatable — just a short, pleasant stroll to charming cafés, restaurants, and the lively Hua Hin Night Market. Everything we needed was within easy reach, yet the resort still felt wonderfully private and serene.
One of the highlights for me was going horse riding along the beach. I didn’t go far though, just enough to take pictures. A little negotiation skill with the horse handler would come handy and I paid THB300 for this lovely experience.
The only small downside is that the beach isn’t really suitable for swimming — but honestly, with the beautiful pools and so much else to enjoy, it didn’t take away from the experience at all.
Centara Hua Hin has a special soul — a rare mix of history, beauty, and genuine hospitality. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming of coming back! ❤️

SSchweigertIt’s a nice Resort if you want relax. We booked a Villa wirh pool and another room for the kids. Distance between Villa and room not to close but can walk to eat other in a nice garden. Arrival was a little strange nobody there on the concierge station or open beautiful Lobby. But anyway after some minutes we check in. Villa is quite and nice. The room has actually the same layout and furniture and bed everything was good. Housekeeping comes every day and clean up all. It give two pool areas. Main pool is on the heach side and second pool in the lagoon area. We mostly spend our time on the beach side pool which has different depths. Kids and adults can swim and have fun there. Breakfast selection is perfect and can sit outside on the beach pool side or in an aircondition room. Service staff is ok but sometimes they forgot food or drinks which we ordered. But the hotel manager is every morning joining the breakfast time and do a great job. He talked to each table and if have a complain he immediately do his best to solve or compensate it. We really enjoyed the 10 days there and can recommend the hotel.

HHappy sunnyWe were upgraded to second floor with balcony. New looking room extremely large bed can sleep three or four people! Bathroom new, excellent shower with rain shower, strong pressure hot water. Anantara spa amenities. Love it! Renovation going on here and there but noise gone at 6pm. Breakfast location moved to restaurant in front of beach. A bit cramped but nice views of ocean. Especially loved the large bed & shower (no bathtub). Good sleep. Ricky the parrot is super cute!

GGuest UserThe hotel has a Moroccan-style exterior that looks a bit aged, but the interior is quite lovely. Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool, complete with a jacuzzi. The pool is right next to the beach, and sitting on the beanbags by the poolside at night, enjoying the sea breeze, was incredibly relaxing. The breakfast spread was also generous, and it was a real treat to dine by the pool if you enjoy the sunshine.

JJoe Hsu@BangkokThis hotel has its merits, but it's not good enough. Firstly, the rooms are modernly designed. Secondly, the location is excellent, very convenient to the beach. Finally, the Page restaurant, while very slow to serve, has very good food. I think the main drawback of the hotel is the service. The staff is inefficient and frequently makes mistakes. I experienced extremely long wait times during check-in and check-out. I stayed for three days, and only one day did room service replenish the drinking water adequately; note that I tipped room service every single day without fail. Breakfast management was terrible. I believe there was a shortage of breakfast staff. On one occasion, food and clean cups were not replenished, and the table was not cleared. On another occasion, the breakfast server gave my order to another guest, causing me to wait an extra 15 minutes. Overall, this hotel could be considered a four-star boutique hotel, but it definitely doesn't reach five-star status.

OOrkidthe room is clean and tidy. we reach a little bit early hence unable to check in immediately. told the receptionist we’ll be waiting at the pool area and she said okay. got mineral water while waiting too.
we got the upper floor facing the beach and its so serene. the toilet is huge, as huge as the room and has separate shower & bath tub.
i requested for a simple deco due to my honeymoon and they did 🥰
heavy breakfast is upon order and a bit limited. for muslim, we can opt for the toast which is self service.
locationwise, if you like calm and quiet area, this will be a good choice. distance to the downtown is about 4km.
the day we check out is at 5am and the reception is so kind to get us a tuk-tuk in that morning because we’re unable to get grab early in that morning. kudos to the team!
