It's easy to find from Exit 7 of Yuyuan Metro Station, and very close to Yuyuan Garden and Chenghuang Temple. The Bund is just a ten-minute walk away. The only downside is the lack of a dedicated concierge service. When picking up stored luggage, there's no one specifically assigned to it, so you have to wait until someone finishes checking in other guests. I hope they can improve this, or perhaps the front desk could contact someone else to retrieve luggage, as the waiting time can be quite long. The front desk is on the 7th floor, and the elevator is also slow. Breakfast is just okay; it's better to order delivery. The location is located in the forest but there's no light surrounding during night . There are 3 pet dogs who live nearby (one of them is friendly). During winters the place is almost empty. Best for solo or couple travels. Sauna in winter is a must try. Overall the room needs a little repairing but it's not that noticable. The rooms are pretty large and provide all amenities. Each room is calm a provides a retreat for a peaceful vacation. The Breakfast lady is nice and hospitable. Breakfast included milk, croissant , a pastry an egg and a bowl of wontons. All snacks and fruits provided in room are complimentary. Overall a nice place for short weekend trip. In morning one can have a morning walk around forest or bike ( during winters the bike become a bit rusty though). The place also provides Kayaking in the nearby lake for 100 RMB / 3 hrs . I chose this hotel specifically for the Labubu cake promotion, and overall, it was a great experience. The location is excellent, the environment is clean and tidy, and the staff were very enthusiastic. Although there was a minor hiccup with the Labubu cake purchase, the 'Guest Relations' lady was incredibly helpful and made sure I got my beloved Labubu cake, for which I'm very grateful. The hotel was indeed good. They called me the day before, but it felt more like a formality after I added them on WeChat. From check-in to check-out, there was no follow-up or care from them. However, after I booked the hotel and contacted them myself, Kira from Guest Relations reached out to me. She was incredibly responsible and stayed in touch with us throughout our stay, from check-in to check-out, helping us with a lot of things! The sensor light in the wardrobe was broken and stayed on constantly, which was a bit bothersome, especially at night when it affected my sleep. Honestly, this hotel🏨 is perfect in every way except for the price. We stayed in a connecting suite, which is essentially two rooms connected by a living room. It was very convenient for a family. As connecting rooms are in the executive area, the stay included breakfast, afternoon tea, and a light dinner. If you don't need to entertain, having a light meal at the hotel is quite nice. The air conditioning in the hotel was incredibly strong, to the point where I got stomach cramps from being frozen for the last two days😭. In the evenings, the hotel has an old-fashioned 'senior' music hall, where 70-year-olds perform. The gentleman playing the piano looked very familiar to me, and later the staff said he had been on CCTV, haha! My parents loved listening to the old songs. The music hall has a minimum spend of around 400 RMB per person! The hotel also has an afternoon tea dance hall where many people dance ballroom, which is quite interesting. On the 9th floor, there's an outdoor bar with amazing views of the Huangpu River and the Oriental Pearl Tower at night. The hotel also has a museum detailing its history from its inception to the present day, which is quite fascinating. There are daily guided tours, which are pretty fun to listen to. My daughter and I even took a set of beautiful photos with the hotel's old pictures. I truly hope the Peace Hotel continues to thrive.FromUS$287

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Kerry Centre and just a few minutes' walk from Plaza 66. While the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, they are still perfectly functional. The executive lounge privileges are a real highlight, allowing us to dine entirely within the hotel, which was very convenient with a child. Fantastic stay in this hotel with spectacular view! The unique cliff view is definitely worth every penny! We have chosen a room with direct view to the waterfall. As our stay was on a Friday, the waterfall was not available which is bit to our disappointment. But waking up this morning (Sat), the waterfall is on. So nice! And so lucky we can catch the chance to take some more photos! At night, there is a lighting show in the open cliff area. So we taken our dinner out the balcony to enjoy the light show. Nice activity at night!

Every stay at Pagoda Hotel Wujiaochang has been a great experience. The location is superb, right in the Wujiaochang business district. It's within walking distance to Hopson One and Wanda Plaza, which is incredibly convenient, and also very close to Fudan University campus.
The front desk staff are very welcoming, and both check-in and check-out are handled very efficiently. The room layout is well-designed, and cleanliness is excellent. The bedding is very comfortable, with just the right balance of softness and firmness.
The smart room control system is very convenient, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation. The toiletries also have a pleasant scent.
