"Everything was great! The room was clean, towels were changed daily! The hotel is conveniently located! The only downside I'd mention is the breakfast, or rather, the fact that it was cold! The steam tables don't warm up at all, which is odd 🫣"

"The hotel is close to the yurt-shaped shopping mall (Khan Shatyr). A good 20-25 minutes walk to the Baiterek Tower. If I understand well it is the ex-Marriott hotel. Unfortunately, the new hotel management is not doing a good job to maintain the Marriott standard. Just a few examples: the safe was not working in my room. The bathroom is aged with broken tiles and the handle for the shower tap stayed in my hand as it got loose. At check-in I asked if I could have an early check-in, but I was told that check-in is only at 15:00. Not sure why this was not possible when there were free rooms from the previous night (I of course checked availability the evening before). I also asked for the possibility of late check-out. I was told I can keep the room until 14:00. The next morning this was down to 13:00. Not a big deal, but all these small things do add up so I am only giving you a solid 3 stars, not more!"

"A modern hotel that is well looked after. It is close to attractions such as the Peace Palace. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's about 500m walk to nearby restaurants and cafes. Be aware it's a walk-up, five floors only. Would stay again as it's excellent value for money."

"Environment: Great location, plenty of elevators, no long waits. Staying on the 21st floor, I had a nice view of the Khan's Tent in the city center. Cleanliness: The toilet paper roll was poor quality, and there was no toilet paper in the room. The room smelled of stale body odor upon entering, but I couldn't open the windows all the time for ventilation. Service: Room cleaning sometimes came at 8 AM and sometimes at 6 PM, with irregular schedules. There was a spa and bar, but I didn't try them. The breakfast was limited in variety and not very tasty."

"Hotel combined with the restaurant is not the most pleasant place for a tired traveler. Thank you very much for the loud events end by midnight. But one night you can survive. The bloated cucumber and ”two pieces of sausage” with winded edges actively hinted at this. Rice casca saved the situation, allowing you to leave the hotel in more or less good spirit."

"It's about a 20-minute drive from the airport. The front desk was very quick, but the room wasn't very big. The breakfast was simple, and the price was much higher than in China, but overall it was okay."

"Good hotel, conveniently located nearby the city centre and also not far from the airport. Staff is friendly and helpful, the room is nice and cosy, but the bathroom doesn’t have enough shelves to place all the hygiene items and the water from the shower cubicle leaks into the bathroom."

"My short layover in Astana included a stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, in a fantastic location. It's right across from the National Theatre and the Khan's Tent shopping mall, and about a kilometer from the Bayterek Observation Tower. Most attractions are within a two-kilometer radius. The room was spacious, with a 1.8-meter king-size bed, which is quite rare in Kazakhstan. A family of four could easily sleep comfortably sideways. I highly recommend the steakhouse next door called Roastbeef. For around 300 RMB per person, you can enjoy excellent quality steak!"

"I can say that this is a good hotel from the USSR era. But what surprised me was that there is no black coffee for breakfast, only three in one, which I hate. So everything is homemade, the choice is not big, for such money it will do. The location of this hotel is not bad, good transport interchange, but you need to drive about 30 minutes to the facilities, and around there is a large magnum store, a large market where you can buy fruit for a low price, a canteen nearby, they cook deliciously, we tried a national dish."

"Decent location, walking distance to most sights in Astana, and taxi from airport cost 10 USD, which was reasonable. Breakfast is 7-10am, and buffet style in the restaurant attached next door. Room was adequate, views were a little strange tho. The evening/night staff guy (can’t remember his name) was a saving grace for this hotel, great English and very friendly - thank you!"
