Astana Hotels with Bars

The room was clean, and the service at The St. Regis Astana was as attentive and warm as ever. The spa and steam room facilities were also excellent. The location is good and relatively quiet. The staff and butler service were very thoughtful. It's a bit too new though, and there's still a faint smell of renovation.

Great hotel, probably with the best breakfast we had on our trip to Kazakhstan. There was a huge selection and everything was always replenished. Our room was very large, clean, and well-maintained. Housekeeping came daily. The pool is adequate and has a good temperature. Additionally, there are separate saunas for men and women, which could be used during regular hours. It takes 30-45 minutes to get to the airport, depending on traffic. To get to the center of Astana, you can only go by taxi or car; it's too far to walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt completely at ease.

Lives on top floor but cold water supply is unstable; I almost got burned while taking a shower. Stayed 5 nights, room daily necessities, such as toothbrushes, toilet paper, slippers, etc., there will be one most every day not given. One day the bed was not cleaned.

I would rate my average experience as 6/10 because I was unable to contact property through Trip.com, only possible through WhatsApp or email which is not really convenient. The arrival experience wasn’t good. We arrived around midnight, and had 3 suitcases. No one offered help. It is mentioned that hotel has bellhop but there was no one. When entering, no one even helped at least with holding a door. The guy in black suit (maybe security) was on his phone. Didn’t pay attention to us. When we reached Front Desk, we didn’t a really warm welcome. Only “Good evening! I need your passport or id” The agent ignored my request for a late check until 1 pm at the c/i. I asked if it’s possible. He continued with property information without returning to that request. The room was quiet and near the elevator which is nice. But service could be better. Breakfast buffet has a good variety of food options but hostess ran to his work desk when I arrived without saying even “Good morning”. He was eating something so I waited for him to finish. The only conversation was “What’s your room number? Enjoy your food” Again, at c/o no one offered help with luggage as well. At least could help with holding a door, because their automatic doors are closed and blocked with a luggage cart. In general, I would say staff needs to learn to provide with a better service due to hotel star rating. It is mentioned that hotel has 4 star rating but, in my opinion, it’s only giving 3 star or less. I stayed in 3 star, 5 star hotels in the world, and I had better experience in a 3 star hotel.

My stay this time was a good experience. The scenery outside was beautiful, and the room arranged for us was also nice. It was great, I recommend it.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, resolving all our issues and assisting with every request (we asked for an iron and smaller pillows, and everything was handled instantly). The location is superb. Unfortunately, our room had many mosquitoes, and I barely slept the last night. It would be great if they provided a mosquito repellent. I'd also like to draw the staff's attention to the stains on the curtains. Perhaps previous guests killed mosquitoes, leaving the stains. Otherwise, we were very satisfied. Thank you!

The hotel's location is excellent. There are many restaurants and a supermarket within a 3-minute walk, and all the major attractions are nearby. A large shopping mall with everything you could need is also just a 5-minute walk away. Facilities: Not brand new, but perfectly acceptable. The room was a bit small. Cleanliness: Pretty good. Environment: The surrounding area is quite nice. Service: Very good. The room heating worked wonderfully, making for a comfortable stay, even though the room itself was a little on the small side.

Great location. The breakfast was hearty. However, both the room and the hotel itself are very run-down and a bit dirty. The bed was large, and the linens were clean, but you could feel the springs in the mattress. There was construction for two days, which was noisy. The stay includes spa access, which is located across the street in the courtyard. The spa is also a bit worn out, but I'll praise the massage, it was excellent. Next time (most likely), I'll choose a different place.

The hotel is right on the road, in the opposite direction of the airport, which was a bit of a mistake! Coming from the airport, I passed through the Bayterek Memorial Tower and the Arc de Triomphe, which was a mistake! However, unexpectedly, there was a ”Da Tang” Chinese restaurant next to the hotel, where I had two full meals and two nights of beer 🍺, which was also a compensation! There are many literary and artistic landscapes around the hotel, so you can stroll around!
