Spa hotels in Astana

This was by far the best hotel experience of my life. The St. Regis is the embodiment of luxury and in Astana it is extremely good value for money in a majestic city that is truly a hidden gem. The staff are caring, hospitable and cheerful, always going above and beyond for your needs. The breakfast merged variety with the best quality I've ever experienced in a hotel ever. The room... My goodness was the room luxurious and stunning for their most basic one. Without a doubt, if you are coming to Astana, which you should, The St. Regis is the place to stay.

Although i booked and paid for a king bed - i was given a twin room. The check in person said that who ever booked your room booked a twin room. Even though in my booking it says a king bed. Was not happy!

The front desk staff were polite and pleasant, and the room was clean. The breakfast offered a good variety and was tasty. The lounge was a nice bonus, almost like having a full meal, and it was very comfortable. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The location seemed convenient. There's also a spa and pool, but we didn't get a chance to use them. Overall, we liked everything, thank you!

The hotel isn't cheap, but the service and location are truly excellent – definitely a plus. However, there's a sour taste left behind. I accidentally left my hair straightener in the room, and I distinctly remember leaving it in a very visible spot. A few days later, I sent a friend to pick it up, but the hotel said they couldn't find it. Either the housekeeper didn't notice it (which is odd), or they didn't bother to report it. For a hotel of this caliber, you expect more honesty or at least attentiveness. It's disappointing that the staff didn't return my item; it was quite valuable to me.

Hotel service is not very good, we ordered a suite, in the description of 1 big bed and a combed bed, when we checked in, we couldn't find the room at the front desk at 2 pm, saying that we had to wait for an hour to stay, and later we said that we were very tired and wanted to stay, they suddenly found a room, When I went up to the 3rd floor, I found that this was a standard twin room. The front desk did not say that the room price was different. I didn't take the initiative to refund the difference, and our luggage was very heavy. The hotel did not have an elevator. Give us a room on the 3rd floor.

The room is interesting and spacious, the service is good, and the view from the window is decent. The bed is absolutely magnificent, and the photos turn out well. There's a buffet breakfast. There's also a fitness center with a pool nearby, included in the service, but it's quite depressing – the hotel should be ashamed to offer something like that. As for the downsides, some things don't work, some are worn out, the remotes are faulty, the plumbing leaks, the shower doors don't close properly, and the water drains slowly. The AC in the bedroom doesn't work, and the windows are dirty, which is a shame for a room with a view. If you can overlook all these issues, it's quite good for the price (9,400 rubles for three people, a 98 sqm room, #905, with a view of Baiterek). Owners, get these things fixed, and it would be a gem!
