I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a weekend getaway with friends. The check-in process was a bit long due to an issue with the visibility of my advance payment made the day prior. However, once this was resolved, we were treated to complimentary refreshment drinks in the check-in area, which were most enjoyable. The lounge and bar boasted a modern, chic design. Before booking this hotel I had read some reviews mentioning the loud music in the lift. This was no longer the case. I was a bit disappointed to find that DJ's were only present at the bar on Fridays. I did not have breafkast during my stay, I may reconsider on my next visit. The room was ultra clean, the bed was super comfortable. The overall experience was positive, and I look forward to my return.

The hotel is located 5 mins walk from Central Station (down the side, not towards the front), so great when arriving by train. Easy to walk to the main parts of town. Check in was at a couple of tables to the left of the entrance. Had a clean twin room and even after we pushed the 2 beds apart properly, there was plenty of space. Large bathroom with plenty of space around and under the sink for personal toiletries, although nice hotel toiletries (hand wash, moisturizer, shampoo and conditioner) were supplied. For some reason we had 2 shampoos in the walk in shower and when we told housekeeping when going out and asked for shower gel, we were left with another shampoo. This was not an issue though as we'd brought our own stuff so just used that instead. Complimentary bottle of still water provided every day which was nice, although the tap water is perfectly clean and drinkable. Flavoured (fresh mint or fruit) water, apples and gummies provided on a table near the entrance/exit, which was a nice touch. Staff very friendly and helpful. We didn't have the breakfast at the hotel as there are so many other options nearby in the town and our main reason for going to Antwerp was to eat locally.

I thought hard about giving this hotel a 3, but on balance think it is fair. In many respects it could score 4 but crucially the sound proofing and specifically the flooring to the bedrooms is inadequate. We were kept awake an hour the first night until the night receptionist kindly called the room above after midnight to ask them to remove their footwear / stop pacing. The second night closing doors above woke us briefly but then the third night there were comings and goings on our floor between several rooms around 3am for 45 mins and we heard it all. Hopefully the hotel will consider doing further works to mitigate this for future guests. Otherwise we found the hotel / bed comfortable, the mostly continental breakfast was fine (fresh juices, fruit, cereals, breads, meat / cheese & pastries) and the bar food did the job on the last night. Its a 25 min walk into the interesting / lively old town where we spent most of our trip, but reception will call you a taxi that costs around 15 Euros if that is too far or it is raining. MAS is worth a visit including the view from the top.

If it wasn't for the fact my room seemed unkempt, this hotel would have been perfect. The bathroom seem to have issues with the plumbing, and the bed sheets were stained. 🤮 I hope it was an isolated case, regardless, unacceptable! Everything else was fantastic, the hotel personal was professional, friendly, and polite. The breakfast was amazing, very good quality buffet (not included). The location was amazing, only 100 meters from the train station (a straight shot to Brussels airport), about a 10 minute walk to Old Town. Shops and good restaurants can be found in the immediate surroundings.

I’ve traveled all over the world and this is by far one of the most special places I have ever stayed. The staff truly made this hotel feel like a sanctuary. Antoine, Wilhelmina, and Gonzo were just a few of the many people working there that made this experience exceptional. The architecture, the history, the tranquility…this exceeded all expectations. Parking is a public parking lot, so you can't leave once you park. It costs 20 euros for 24 hours, and you have to pay the difference every time you leave after parking. It costs 4-5 euros per hour. There are commercial facilities, supermarkets, pharmacies, shopping malls, burger shops, and other restaurants within 200-400m walking distance, so it's convenient. The hotel was very comfortable, spacious, and clean.

Good location, near the central train station and close to restaurants and pubs. Breakfast was decent. The room was ok. The airconditioning didn’t work and it was pretty humid and warm at night. I reserved a room for myself and a friend one month in advance for an event in Antwerp Sportpaleis. When we arrived at the hotel, we discovered it was not twin separate beds. The receptionist was rude and wasn’t helpful to change the room to separate twin beds. He made us wait until 1:30 AM in the morning to change into a twin bed room instead of one queen size bed. Please be more flexible and customer first minded.

A no frills but okay hotel. Location is good as trams stop both in front and on the side of the hotel and bring you to the city center or Sportpaleis (only 4 stops). Staff is very friendly and helpful and breakfast is surprisingly varied with many choices, normally in this kind of ”budget” hotels there is not much to chose from but this was great. Room was very simple but good. I only felt the mattress was way too soft with a pit in it, but I must say I slept better than expected. All in all convenient if you need to visit the Sportpaleis for a concert or just want to stay a night in Antwerp for a reasonable price. Although the surroundings of the hotel ook a bit rough, the people staying in this hotel were all very normal and decent. Parking in front of the hotel is free which is also a benefit

We've just returned from a weekend at Guesthouse Cabosse and can't recommend it enough. It's genuinely one of the most special places we've ever stayed. It's right in the centre of Antwerp but provides complete privacy, complete with a hidden spa and swimming pool in the garden. The interiors are beautiful, with every room designed differently. We were so impressed with the attention to detail throughout our stay and you can tell that everything's of the highest quality: the food (fresh produce made to order), wine (one of the owners is a sommelier with an impressive collection), linens, the maxibar full of Belgian beers and champagne. We stayed in the Queen's Suite, which is just amazing. We especially loved the enormous bathroom with huge marble bath in the centre. Everything about this stay was incredible and we were given such a warm welcome by owners Riad and Filip. We can't wait to return again soon!

Ssm05060We spent one night here and since we travelled by car it was convenient to be able to let ourselves in at a time that suited us, as their check in times are from 3pm-6pm. It is a very tiny street front and easy to miss, but we were sent via email detailed instructions and a picture of the store front next to it. The car parking (paid) is directly across the road, we parked on arrival and left the car there the next day while we went exploring, as the hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance to most things. We had the Penthouse which was very clean and comfortable, with a nice personalised note and local cookies waiting for us on arrival. It is definitely suited to couples only as the bathroom opened onto the living area. The blinds on the windows are operated by an electronic system, there were plates and cutlery to use, a mini fridge, microwave, tea/coffee facilities, hair dryer and slippers. The drawbacks were that we found our room to be very hot, even though it wasn't a hot day and with only a fan to cool things down it would be very hot and stuffy on a hot day and the blinds did not block out all the light so if you like a dark room to sleep in, this room would not suit. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay

HHTXXPros: - decent location; about 7mins walk from the Antwerp Centraal, and 2mins from Flixbus busstop, though in a relatively quiet corner. - they have a small common dining area on the ground floor with microwave, fridge, kettle and vending machines selling snacks and coffee. the coffee machine needs some upkeeping though, and the snacks vending machine was done during our period of stay. Cons: - if you stay on the lower level floors be prepared to keep your curtains closed - the whole room can be seen clearly from outside the hotel. - room has everything you need but can't help feeling like it's hollow, barren and empty; there's barely any interior works done to the room. - no kettle in the room and you will need to deposit 10euros to borrow one.

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend in one of the Julien Experience Rooms. We like a minimalist yet good design style, so this hotel was what we prefer. The living room, the bar and a small courtyard are very nice and a place to relax. The hotel is quite small and cozy, and it is tucked away in a side street, so it feels a bit like home. The photos on the website are true to what you can expect. The service was great. We arrived early and were able to have a chacuterie at one o'clock. We were given a list of well selected places to visit. The restaurant recommendation was booked for us. We stayed late the last day and our luggage was taken care of. The breakfast was not huge, but very good, and things are prepared to order if you want. Overall, we liked the professional yet personal and friendly style in a small hotel. Our hotel room overlooked one of the small courtyards, so it was not very bright. This is good for the summer, but when it is not hot, I might look for a room with windows to the street, as the street is rather quiet. We would definitely come back.

We (couple) took an apartment with separated room, and it was roomy and very quiet. Everything was clean, and almost as important, new (2023). I asked in my reservation for a second duvet for the bed, as my better half is a duvet-hogger, and it was there when we arrived. It was a double width too, so we ended up with lots of duvet on the bed, but as the bed was wide enough, that was no problem. The pillows where a bit high for our taste. There were three to choose, and the thinnest one was just on the line for us, but we slept all right. Bed is confy, with that ”thick mattress with thin mattress on top” concept. Movement from one side to the other travels more that in a full viscoelastic mattress, but less than in a spring one, so it was ok for us. The hotel has two buildings, connected by a first-floor gangway with apartments on the sides. We got an apartment, the number 111, that was in that connection, and it was really quiet, the windows looking to some inside court, rather wide, and I think no neighbouring apartments at all. We went at the time of some big festival in Antwerp, and we heard nothing either from outside or from the neighbours. Only drawback of this particular room is that the bathroom is adapted for wheelchairs, so the shower is covered by just a curtain and with a couple of supports that restrict movement a bit, but that was a minor inconvenience for us. On the plus side, the bathroom was really big. We liked the decoration, and the lighting possibilities too. The oven is a combination microwave-grill, and was clean too, as I say, everything is rather new so that can change with time. All in all, a very good experience.

GGuest UserSuper General manager, Super hosts, I would definitely book this hotel again and again if the service and terms would be the same. Central located, check-in procedure was easy. Bar with snacks/food/drinks was a excetional service :) Tip The bathroom smell - Can be solved to change/clean the drain/sifon. Tip: Airconditioning was'nt there or the instructions to put the airconditioning on was unclear. The room was too hot to sleepwell. Opening windows was a solution but then the sound of the voices among the streets was too loud. Tip: Lack of service with our booking. While I was trying to pay in advance. There was a pop-up message that mu room with breakfast wasnt available. But the payment process was still ongoing. After that, I saw I booked a Superior Room without Breakfast. I was paying more for what I wanted in first instance. There was no solution from the Hotel and/or Trip.com.

Terrible experience. Upon arriving in 29 degree European heat I was informed that the air conditioning in my room did not work, that they could/would not fix this problem and that no fans were on offer within the hotel. Upon asking the man on the front desk if they had any other alternatives I was told to ”Think about Everest” as this would cool me down. Whilst I am sure said man chortled at this niche and clever remark - this was indeed red flag number one for me. The next day after minimal sleep in my personal sauna, and a horrific dribbling shower, which was at best suitable for a mouse with the pressure it was putting out I had a 16 hour work day. I returned to the hotel in the early hours of the morning. Exhausted, I took the lift the 4 floors to my room only to be met with red flashing lights and a door that would not open. Alas, I begrudgingly went down to the ”24 hour” reception where low and behold an empty seat greets me. At this point I'm exhausted and annoyed. I call out for a few minutes trying to ascertain the location of the night manager in what can only be described as a cruel rendition of marco-polo (minus the call-back from polo). Eventually a bleary eyed manager (the same who made the Everest comment) appears from the depths of reception. He wanders over to me and makes a hand gesture/some grunt as if to say; 'what can I do for you?' Apologetically I explain that my key is not working and that I was sorry to disturb him but I needed to go to bed. He actually had the audacity to tell me I was ”impatient”. Not like it was his job to be on reception all night and to help guests with issues like this! I let the comment slide as I was too tired to argue with an elderly Belgian hotel manager and I head off to bed. In fairness there was now a fan in my room so the sauna became slightly more comfortable on my second and final night. All in all - a poor hotel with few current amenities and a grumpy night manager. For the price - look elsewhere!
