The room size is very large. The two Queen beds can sleep four people without any problem. In fact, four bathrobes are provided in the room. The restaurant's steaks and soups are made on the spot in front of the table and are very delicious. October is the off-season, and a four-course set meal only costs 60 Canadian dollars. The hotel facilities are very complete, and it should be a five-star standard for such a remote mountain.

We usually stay with the pinnacle at all locations and set very satisfied with our stay. This is the first time we were unimpressed. We usually book using government rate, this time they would not provide us that rate and said we needed to provide a letter Which we have never been asked for previous. Unfortunately our company does not provide us letter in those situations. When calling to book I was told I HAD to book two nights, I however only wanted one. I ended up looking online on your website and found a cheaper rate and was able to hook one room. The guy I spoke with was quite rude. When checking in the staff weren’t too friendly and were slightly dismissive. Once getting to the room was excited to see there was a fireplace, was disappointed to find out that it wasn’t turned on till November. The bed was absolutely horrible, anytime either my husband or I moved the bed rocked as if it was a boat on the water during a storm. It squeaked so much and so loud that it was quite the annoyance - neither of us was able to get a good sleep. In the morning the people above us were banging in the roof preventing any sort of relaxation. Overall we were very unsatisfied with our stay and the hotel.

The location of the hotel is quite good, right next to the gondola. If you drive, you have to pay for parking. Whistler's hotel rooms all have their own kitchens for easy cooking. Of course, the surroundings are also delicious, and it is good to find any one. The bed rolled down from a large cupboard, but the Queen size was enough for two adults to sleep.

If you are looking your next venue for your staff party we would highly recommend Pangea! We booked half of the patio for our staff party(a team of 20)and had an amazing time! The team were so helpful and accommodating to set everything up for our arrival. Food was delicious we shared pizza's, nachos and wedges, honestly couldn't stop ordering we just loved it so much! Cocktails were also amazing would definitely recommend. The patio is an amazing hidden gem of Whistler the sun hits it perfectly in the afternoon, we stayed for about 5 hours just enjoying every last minute before the sun went down. Pasta Lupino would love to thank the Pangea Crew for helping our staff day become one of the best.

When I booked, I thought of a five-star hotel, and the reviews from previous stays were also very favorable. So I decided to pick it up as a two-day one-day trip to celebrate our anniversary. It is commendable that the service attitude is very good, which makes up for other shortcomings. Open the door and enter the hotel room. Of course, you can visit the surroundings. There are showers, bathtubs, cloakrooms, and terraces...all of which are spacious and comfortable. Hotel facilities include fitness room, ball room, swimming pool... and free 2-hour bicycle rental. However, in a five-star hotel, it is unimaginable that the spouts of the kettles in the rooms are full of fluffy scorpions. Maybe the people who stay in the room never use them, and the waiters ignore them. They go to the swimming pool. The small swimming pool is one-third of the pool𥚃 All the branches and leaves on the surface have no intention of falling into the water, so I had to soak in the water in the small pool with massage function. If you look closely, the water is spraying, so you don't fall into the water. Sitting on a low plane, you can see a lot of leaves floating on the water. Will not choose to stay again.

Facilities are average, Ctrip is affordable during the holidays, but after washing my hair in the morning, I found that the hair dryer was bad. It made me wet my hair to go skiing. It was really depressing, but the price was ok, the room was large and the fireplace was very warm

I love this hotel because of many reasons. First of foremost is the staff because they were friendly, happy and helpful. One night I needed a 1 page print out and she didn’t mind the hassle of printing it out. Secondly is the location. It is the middle of everything. 2 times we simply had to walk next door or across the street for breakfast. We were hiking and only had dinners 3 times and they were all within 10 minutes walk. Thirdly is the room itself. I love the kitchen, the microwave oven , the fridge. The room decoration is so cozy. The sofa and the chair soft. The room is angular but spacious. It has a balcony that faces a forest/trail. There are chairs and tables on the ground level where people can relax but we were at no time bother by the noise ( we were on the 2nd floor and near the elevator ) . If I am tired of eating out , I can cook because it has a 2 burner stove but I have to bring my own oil, salt, pepper , everything but I did see ( I think ) detergent. A+ . We took a bus there so we didn’t need to pay for parking. You don’t need a car there . We took a bus for $2.50 south to the Interpretive Forest and did 2 hikes. On the 2nd day we took a ‘góndola “ up the mountain. Great city to visit. Will definitely come back again. Thank God for the wonderful weather.

Going out of the hotel and sliding down is the Heishu Mountain Cable Car Station. After skiing from Heishu Mountain and exhausted, the first person to arrive is this hotel. The room has a full set of cooking equipment. So we slid back to the room to eat at noon, and then continued the afternoon session. We went on New Year's Day, and it was snowing in a few days, and the sight was not good. When skiing in Whistler, choosing good weather is important.

SSightsee01228586307Terrible customer service. We are leaving early for the airport today, so we asked to pay the bill last night. A lot of confusion by Reception occurred before we got the final details …( we only had 3 extra items on our bill as well as the room- so, not a complicated calculation ) we then went back to our room to transfer money onto our travel money card to pay for our bill. My husband went down to Reception to pay- (a new person on Reception) paid the bill - Staff member asked if it was Debit /credit card - my husband said several times Debit card. Bill paid he returned to the room. A telephone call from Reception, to say he (Staff Member) had used the wrong machine to pay and could we come back to Reception to pay our bill. On checking our account the money had been taken out of our account plus extra !! The staff member made a mistake which meant our debit card was overdrawn, with extra USD$ being used to pay for this extra 24$ plus a fee!!! We were certainly not going to pay out an extra $2000+ bill! We went to Reception to sort it- tel calls made to head of Reception - no answer. I asked for the details of the Hotel Manager to which the Staff member ever said there wasn’t a Hotel Manager ?!!!! I knew they wouldn’t be available but wanted the name & number . He was very unhelpful- eventually he told me there was a Manager!! I rang his number (it is late by this time, so knew I’d be only leaving a message) only to be told that this person had not set up an answering service… really? A manager of 2 Pan Pacific hotels in Whistler… The staff member gave me the number of the head of Reception- I left a message on her answering machine to contact us - outlining our issues. We are still waiting to hear back….. This hotel is expensive- that we don’t mind if we are having a nice time, but we haven’t slept all night with the worry of this & us needing to leave early. Including taxes the room has cost 660$ a night. This very stressful incident has spoilt a special occasion trip for us - we are leaving for the airport very upset at the way in which we have been treated. Paying your bill should be the easiest thing in the world- it should come as no surprise to the hotel, as everyone has to do it! Staff training is obviously an issue that needs sorting - you speak to a different person every time- we still have had no reply from the Head of Reception, absolutely shocking.

Een?kaThe location of the hotel is superb, you can walk to the cable car in a few steps. The snow gear can be rented downstairs in the hotel, which is super convenient. Two rooms and a family of four are spacious and comfortable, and there is a small kitchen. I have prepared breakfast and dinner. We bought one without a frying pan, you can fry eggs and steak. The parking lot is very convenient downstairs in the hotel but 38 Canadian dollars a night is not cheap. The hotel front desk has self-service coffee, tea and hot coincidence. Very satisfied with a stay experience, will stay here next time I go to Whistler.

But the room looks like it has been renovated with new furniture and new bathroom counter and tub as well. Swimming pool is on the small size as well as the jacuzzi.

GGuest UserWe went to Whistler Christmas time pre-COVID. They had a booth where they were giving presentations for an Embarc time share where you could give a deposit for a time share presentation and they would give you a 4-night, 3 days stay at a hotel pretty much in the Whistler village next to the slopes as well as some sort of credit. We paid $199 Canadian for this package. Got an email with our reciept and an email with the voucher shortly thereafter. I gave them all my details (name, phone number, address, etc.) and after the initial receipt that was emailed to me, I never heard back again. Then COVID took place and Canada basically closed its borders for ”a few weeks” that turned into more than 2 years for people from the US who didn't have compelling reason (visiting family, travelling to Alaska, etc.). Tried calling several times, never got through because of extremely long wait times. Not once did we get any communication (despite them having our contact info). When I did call, they said I had opted out of communication (which I had not) and in the background they had been extending my voucher's expiration date as the pandemic continued. Again, no communication of any kind that this was taking place, and as I had an essential worker in the house, this wasn't entirely a priority. So when I did call to redeem my voucher, I was told that it had expired and I would need to pay more to use it and if i did pay more, I had to use it by the end of this calendar year. I know it goes without saying that you should be cautious about time shares and how they are sold, but this entire experience has definitely turned me off from Embarc as a company.

There is parking lot, room scan card is available, CAD 22.4 per night, and only one. No breakfast, lots of small cafes in the square next to it. GGuest UserWe had first stayed at the Tantalus Lodge about 13 years ago and had a wonderful experience. The facilities are somewhat dated, but very clean. They provided the proper bed configuration for our family. By mid afternoon of the first day, we still had not received housekeeping services, even though the website states daily housekeeping and there was the usual card in the bathroom about reusing your towels. I called the front desk, and was told that housekeeping is only provided on the 3rd day. Since we were only staying 4 nights this seemed a little silly, but I did not say anything. However, no one ever showed up to clean our room. The trash was overflowing by the time we checked out. There is a full kitchen, and we only cooked breakfast. Imagine if we had cooked dinner too! Guests should be notified at check in what the policy is, and a procedure should be implemented to handle trash. In addition, the towels were extremely flimsy, and difficult to use so many days in a row.

GGuest UserWhen we arrived, we were taken the the Executive Inn Mountainside by the shuttle company. So, we walked around trying to find the Whistler Village building, and finally did. Our room was on the 3rd floor, but you can't really get there on the elevator - you have to walk up some stairs, and then down some stairs before you finally find where you are going. We had a loft room - the loft up a set of winding stairs (bathroom is downstairs), holding a dresser and a queen size bed, which you have to crawl into to get to the far side - no walking around. The small closet is on the stair landing. The 1st floor had a couch that you kind of fell into because of the springs. Every place needed a coat of paint, and a good cleaning. There was a new shower, but the water pressure was ridiculous. One of the lights in the bathroom was burned out, and another was falling out of the wall. Luckily, the front desk staff and the cleaners were responsive and helpful. Oh, and the advertised heated pool was at the other building - want to walk a block or so in your bathing suit to get there, and then back (when you are wet)? I would not stay here again. Had we known we would have used Airbnb which turned out to be MUCH cheaper. Glad I'm not planning another trip.
