"It's only a 10-minute walk from the main train station. It's very convenient to go everywhere. There's a supermarket, subway, and tram downstairs, and it's a 2-minute walk to the shopping street. The location and the price are very good👍
The room is quite satisfactory and very clean. Disposable slippers are also provided (it's not as environmentally friendly as Europe, so don't have high expectations for slippers)
There are many restaurants nearby, as well as a Vietnamese pho shop (3 minutes' walk away). It's also very convenient to take an Uber downstairs. It can be said to be highly recommended."

DDayeThe room was large and convenient. It was nice that they provided water and carbonated water. There was a bathtub so I could relax, and it was nice that the body soap, shampoo, and treatment were all separate.

GGuest UserThe Dorint hotel is in a very central location with wonderful views of the cathedral. The staff were very professional (from pre-trip communication to check-in and check-out) and super friendly. The hotel is huge and has lifts to all floors. The room was large with ample furniture (larger bed than usual, built-in suitcase stand, full desk, armchair) and the decor a palimpsest of older furniture zhuzhed up with wall coverings, a decorative vase, floor lights in addition to bedside table lamps and desk light, etc. There was even a kettle to make tea and coffee, and a fridge, which was much appreciated!
The bed was on the soft side and the pillows rather thin and fluffy, which was not quite to my liking. However, the blackout curtains and well-insulated windows made for a quiet night's sleep, despite the roads and building sites outside. It was still possible to open one window to let fresh air in. All in all, a very good experience.

CChee KoonSituated in the Altstadt-Nord district, Hotel Merian is a short 2-minute walk from Cologne Central Station (Köln Hbf) and less than 10 minutes on foot from the Cologne Cathedral. This is the kind of hotel I am looking for and I highly recommend to anyone who is searching for an affordable stay in the heart of Cologne city.

DDanielaIch war in Zimmer 56 untergebracht und habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre, die durch das Zimmer durch die Dachgeschoss entstand, war einfach toll. Das Zimmer war sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und perfekt für einen entspannten Aufenthalt.
Das Hotel überzeugt zudem durch seine zentrale, aber ruhige Lage und den freundlichen Service. Ich würde das Midtown Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen und komme gerne wieder!

The location was good because it was close to the central station and the concert hall.
There are many restaurants around, and you can walk a little bit by the Rhine.
The room was clean and all the facilities were good.
However, there was no elevator, so it was difficult to walk up and down the rotary stairs to the fourth floor.
I think it's hard for people with a lot of luggage.

Rrickan2000A rather basic hotel, but worthy of its price. The hotel is suitable for people with a limited budget but who want to live here for a long time. In addition to ordinary hotel rooms, there are also public living rooms and public bathrooms (that is, there are also rooms without bathrooms). The overall feel is more like a student dormitory. The room was very cold when I arrived. I searched for a long time before I realized that the heating was not turned on. So my impression of this hotel is cold and bleak, and I guess I won't go there again in the future. But it would be unfair to say that this hotel has nothing good to offer.

GGuest User最坑的是前台和公寓樓不在一個地方，打車到公寓樓下，找了好半天沒找到前台，在樓下問了好幾個德國人都不知道，最後一個德國帥哥幫我打電話問才知道前台在八百米外，又推着箱子走過去拿鑰匙，又推着走回來。開門都是老式的鑰匙鎖，房間設施很簡陋，沒有紙巾，床頭枱燈找了半天才找到開關，洗澡水也不是很熱。沒有電話，你衹能用德國手機聯繫前台。總之很不方便。唯一優點是窗外是萊茵河美景，附近比較安靜。打車到科隆市中心大約7公里。公寓樓下有個中國餐館，馬路對角有個不錯的麪包店可以吃早餐。
