"There are a few things of the Nefertiti Hotel: 1. Excellent location (Luxor temple and museum is within working distance; a shopping street located just behind the hotel, with reasonable (bargained) price; supermarket round the corner with super delicious mango in summer); 2. Good buffet breakfast with plenty of fruit; 3. creative room service (with lovely shaped towels which surprised us every day)."

Very Good
GGuest UserThe hotel has a small courtyard, garden, swimming pool in the yard, the room is also very large, the garden can be seen on the balcony, and the balcony is very comfortable. Breakfast is a simple continental breakfast configured by the head, which is also ok. The boss will ask you what time to eat tomorrow morning the night before? The restaurant brother will wait at the agreed time. I stayed there for five days. In short, it is not bad, except for the poor Wi-Fi signal, the socket is two round holes, and it is very loose, many can not be used, breakfast is less than European and American cucumber, tomato, others are fine. Outside the courtyard is two worlds. The road at the door is not hardened. It is a main street for a few minutes. There are some snacks, a small fruit shop, and a sugarcane juice is very good. You can go to the pier to take a boat to the east bank, the main center is the east bank. Short stay is not recommended, after all, carrying luggage is quite tossing, time is sufficient, there is not much demand for Wi-Fi. You can rest here!
CChengchengforI originally wanted to book the Hermitage Hotel, but it was full, so the travel agency recommended this one instead. The food, as always, was terrible. I barely noticed any Hilton-level service or amenities. We booked a family room, and it turned out to be two rooms with a connecting door that we had to open ourselves, and we were even given two separate key cards. And of course, it was a corner room again. Do Chinese tourists in Egypt always have to be assigned rooms like this? If you can avoid this place, do. I was too exhausted from staying here to even bother taking pictures.
EElizaveta ReshetnikovaGood, big apartment, we slept in the nearest bedroom (they only 3). Mattress, pillows comfortable, great sleep. Water pressure is good, towels, bed linen clean, cotton. Each room has a heater. A beautiful living room, there is everything in the kitchen to cook. We have arranged a transfer to the airport, thank you.
TterentiusThis is a decent, economically priced hotel. The key benefit of this hotel is its location - along the Nile corniche, and walking distance from the Luxor temple, Luxor museum, the ”souq” or tourist / souvenir market, and various shops and restaurants. Rooms are a little dated though very clean. There is also a pool, gym, and spa, all the modern creature comforts you need from a hotel (I did not use these facilities so cannot comment).
Staff are generally friendly and ready to help. Breakfast is also very good - a very wide spread with hot foods (think hard boiled eggs, sausages, grilled tomatoes and the likes), a whole selection of pastries which were fresh, an egg station, salad bar, fruits, yoghurt etc. They even start breakfast at 5.30am for those who need an early start touring.
No toothbrush/ toothpaste provided (this seems to be the norm in Egypt), no razor available even on request.
YYiwenjuThe location is excellent, right next to Luxor Temple. The most thoughtful touch was that even though we arrived before check-in time, the front desk quickly checked us in – the only time this happened during our entire trip to Egypt! 👍 All the staff were incredibly warm and friendly, patiently answering all our questions. Thank you so much!
If there's anything that could be improved, it would be that the hotel facilities could be updated (for example, the clothes hangers could be replaced with sturdier ones) to enhance the user experience.
The following pictures are of the hotel and the street view from our room.
GGuest UserThe room next to the pool is spacious and has dining tables and other facilities. The overall service of the hotel is also good. The location is also OK. There is a Chinese restaurant 10 minutes walk away. The taste is good, the dishes are large and cost-effective. Take a taxi to the Karnak Temple, about 50 pounds.
Suggestions for improvement;
1. The shower water flow is small, and it gets cold while washing
2. Some rooms need to be ventilated to keep the air fresh
3. The refrigerator in the large room of 001 needs to be thoroughly cleaned. It is an overlooked corner.
TTama PurbaThis Place is very clean and aesthetic. They have a rooftop to enjoy Luxor city on the top.
Kitchen is available to use for guest. But im waiting too long for check in due any misscomunication about receptionist and owner. But over all, this place is very good and just need 1km by walking
放放浪旅It's close to the station, but the road to the hotel is not well-maintained (this is true throughout Egypt), so if you have large luggage, it might be better to take a taxi. The hotel will arrange anything, including felucca, balloon, and transfer to the ruins. I had already booked the balloon and transfer to the ruins, so they arranged the felucca, but the time... I think the time was a little early. I came back just as other tourists were going out to the Nile to watch the sunset... To be honest, I think I would have been more satisfied if I had directly negotiated with the boatman along the Nile at the time of the scenery I wanted to see.
Hot water came out well and the water pressure was perfect. The only amenities were bar soap. There was no hair dryer in the room. I used one I brought with me, so I'm not sure if I can borrow one from the front desk. There was a bathtub, but it wasn't cleaned. In fact, the drain was clogged from the beginning, and my hair got mixed in, which was awful. The refrigerator was very cold, but I wonder if the air conditioner is controlled by the front desk? It didn't turn on even when I pressed the switch, so I asked the front desk and they turned it on for me. There is an elevator.
The clogged bathtub was the worst, but the hotel staff were all so kind (I told them I needed glue and they went out of their way to buy it for me!), and it was the only relief I felt in the rip-off town of Luxor lol. Thank you for your help.
