Anonymous UserThe hotel grounds are quite spacious, with plenty of outdoor activity areas and beautiful, photo-worthy scenery! We booked a twin room and were immediately impressed upon entering. The high ceilings and large room, with its simple yet cozy decor, really stood out. Even though there were just two of us, it felt like there was easily enough space for six more people! The floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning views, and every morning, with the automatic curtains open, all the beauty was right there for us to enjoy. The hotel also offers free access to a gym, a cinema, and a DIY book bar, so you'll never get bored even if you spend a whole day indoors. The restaurant's food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly thoughtful! They brought us a complimentary nightcap soup in the evening, and after our workout, they even placed two bottles of water on our bedside table. Their smiling service throughout made the experience truly exceptional.

I had a wonderful and very satisfying trip to this B&B in Anji. My family stayed in a detached mountain-view family room, which had a simple, eco-friendly wooden cabin style. It's a two-story unit with a bed on each floor. NookNook B&B is nestled on a mountain 700 meters above sea level, surrounded by bamboo forests, offering high negative oxygen ions – a natural oxygen bar. The lush greenery is incredibly refreshing and allows you to relax peacefully all day.
Driving from the foot of the mountain (where the Jiangnan Tianchi Scenic Area sign is) takes about 30 minutes along a winding mountain road to reach NookNook. Along the way, you'll pass the popular Fujiwara Tofu Cafe. A short distance past the cafe, you'll see the Jiangnan Tianchi Scenic Area parking lot. Turn left at the parking lot (there's a NookNook sign) and continue for another 10 minutes on a narrow, winding country road. (This section can be quite dark at night, so be careful if driving after dark.) You'll then arrive at the hotel. There's ample parking, about 10 spaces, with two charging stations that can accommodate four cars simultaneously.
The hotel service is excellent. A butler will add you on WeChat in advance, and upon arrival, a staff member will help carry your luggage to your room. The hotel offers a variety of facilities, including hot springs (additional charge), an outdoor swimming pool (shallow, good for photo ops and kids playing), KTV, and a chess/card room (reservations via the butler, free of charge). The front desk also has an XBOX available in the evenings. They even arrange bonfires at night, with self-service roasted sweet potatoes and marshmallows. The hotel is located at the very end of the Daliang Ancient Path's summit. You can walk down the ancient path directly from the hotel for a small hike of about 4000 meters round trip. This scenic path, surrounded by bamboo, also features a stream, making for beautiful scenery.
While the hotel's breakfast is a fixed set menu, you can also request noodles, rice noodles, mini wontons, small steamed buns with meat, and poached eggs. There's also a self-service selection of bread, milk, and juice. If you wish to have lunch or dinner at the hotel, you need to book your dishes one day in advance, and there's an additional charge. The bamboo forest chicken and bamboo shoots are very fresh and delicious, and the dishes are refined and tasty. The hotel also provides complimentary afternoon tea, and the bar offers a la carte coffee, cocktails, and more.
Every corner of the hotel offers beautiful views, making it perfect for a full day of relaxation. If I get the chance, I would definitely consider revisiting in the winter.

The room design was great, and both the elderly and children loved it. They even thoughtfully provided eye masks. The room had a smart smart control system and underfloor heating. Both the indoor and outdoor views were fantastic, especially the hot spring in the bamboo forest. The service was excellent; they responded immediately to every request, even late at night – thank you so much to the young man! Initially, the guesthouse had stopped providing underfloor heating for the first few days of our stay because it was getting warmer, but on the day we arrived, it got a bit cold, and my child liked to walk on the floor without slippers. The owner kindly turned the heating back on – thank you!
We had dinner at the guesthouse: chicken soup, braised bamboo shoots, and braised catfish. The auntie cooked it very well; my elders still rave about it afterward, haha. Breakfast was rather home-style, but the auntie's soft-boiled eggs were delicious, and the young man's hand-drip coffee was also very good.
One small suggestion: could the guesthouse consider allowing guests to choose between regular towels and disposable towels in the future? My child only made this suggestion about the towels, haha. Also, it would be even better if there was an absorbent mat in the bathroom.
Overall, it's good, pet-friendly, and I recommend it.

Anonymous UserThe room is very clean, comfortable and hygienic. Children like it very much, but I feel it is more suitable for couples because the design of the bathroom is a bit inconvenient for parent-child families. There is also a bathroom on the first floor, but there is no shower. Parents of the opposite sex have to take a shower in advance. Other than that, it is almost full marks. The service is very, very, very good. The brothers are very handsome and the sisters are also very beautiful. They have a strong sense of service. The housekeeper is responsive to every request. A care package is provided every day, which is a canvas cosmetic bag that can be taken away. The toiletries are lelabo, and there are enough drinks. The restaurant is not big, so make reservations in advance. The food is very delicate and the taste is good. Afternoon tea and hot spring bath are also provided. It is very, very, very comfortable!

For work reasons, I chose Manwanhua. The environment was exceptional, and I felt like I was on vacation. The tea plantations and buildings coexist harmoniously, and the infinity pool, reflecting the Metasequoia trees, creates a modern, stylish atmosphere. The housekeeping was proactive, responsive, and welcoming. The coffee was excellent, and the metal fence around the pool was a creative way to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. In the evening, the breeze blew, and gazing at the stars was a relaxing experience.

Emin EyvazzadeOur stay at this hotel was absolutely exceptional. From the very beginning, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
There was a small mistake during our stay, but the way the hotel handled it truly impressed us. They sincerely apologized and kindly offered us complimentary drinks and fresh fruits, which was a very thoughtful gesture.
We would especially like to thank 徐云 and 王永芳 for their kindness and constant support throughout our stay. Their professionalism and warm attitude made our experience even more enjoyable. We are also deeply grateful to the manager, 罗会军, whose exceptional care truly stood out.
What touched us the most was their genuine hospitality. When we were leaving, we couldn’t find a taxi, and the manager personally drove us down the mountain. This level of service is rare and unforgettable.
Throughout our stay, the staff were always helpful, kind, and attentive to every detail. It felt like we were not just guests, but truly valued visitors.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service, warm hospitality, and a memorable experience. We will definitely come back again!

Let's start with the downsides: I haven't seen anyone mention this in reviews, but it's not quiet and can be noisy. There's a pump house right outside the entrance, which is a source of noise at night. The hotel is located on a small road, and even though there aren't many cars, they tend to drive quite fast, so you need to be careful. Next to the main entrance, there's another guesthouse under construction, which will likely add to the noise. Also, Xiaosenlin isn't a standalone property; there's another guesthouse called 'Shanxia Xiaozhu' still under construction within the same compound. I think the guesthouse should have mentioned this; I specifically came during the off-season hoping for a peaceful place to stay with my dog. Most reviews mention it's convenient for rafting in the summer.
The room itself has some issues: the floor is uneven, the furnishings are a bit old and not well-maintained, and it's a bit damp. The showerhead provides a fine spray, but the water pressure is weak. There are quite a few mosquitoes, especially if you open the door – they'll all fly in. You need to keep the lights off inside to avoid them. The refrigerator door opens in an awkward direction and is placed in the corner of the sink area, causing the door to hit the mirror cabinet next to it. The staff who checked us in didn't even plug it in; the owner had to come and plug it in herself. The power outlets are also very hard to find and plug into.
Now for the positives: The overall layout has a very 'small forest' feel, with well-arranged spaces. The glass cafe on the second floor is very elegant and nature-themed, probably the one featured on Ctrip's homepage. The terrace on the second floor offers a nice view. There's a large, very gentle and cute Labrador. Surprisingly, there's a refrigerator, which many guesthouses lack. The switch for the fan/AC was a bit hard to find, and when the remote control ran out of batteries, the owner quickly replaced them. She also recommended a fantastic noodle place in the nearby town and a quiet walking trail along the river, which is almost car-free and about 4km long, winding through streams, bamboo forests, and tea plantations.
Overall, the value for money is quite good, especially when traveling with a dog. The fact that they didn't charge an extra cleaning fee for the dog was a really nice touch.

Anji Mountain Non-Mountain Resort Hotel really exceeded expectations! This trip to Anji was full of happiness because of this hotel ✨
The overall environment of the hotel is quiet and elegant, surrounded by mountains and forests, and it feels relaxed when you step in. What is more pleasant is that you can enjoy a free room upgrade when you stay. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the price/performance ratio is directly doubled. ~
The supporting facilities are super complete, the water temperature of the heated swimming pool is just right, it is particularly comfortable to swim, and you can play in the water in autumn and winter; the gym equipment is enough, the laundry room is also very convenient, and the travel is worry-free and comfortable.
Breakfast must be emphasized! The category is rich to pick the eyes, take into account Chinese and Western tastes, the fresh taste of the ingredients is online, and the whole day is full of vitality.
The most plus point is the butler service, the whole process is intimate and thoughtful, the details are full of care.
The whole experience is excellent, it is an impressive perfect accommodation, next time you come to Anji, you will definitely choose here, I really recommend it to everyone!

ly630710Our first trip to the summit of Anji Yunshang Grassland led us to a unique romantic hideaway in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai region: the 1168 Starry Sky Astronomical Hotel, perched at an altitude of 1168 meters. As the only mountaintop hotel within the Yunshang Grassland scenic area, it stands nestled amidst clouds and mist, with the Milky Way as its canopy. This isn't just a fleeting visit; it's an immersive experience, allowing you to dwell in the gentle embrace of the starry sky and sea of clouds.
Our butler, Xiao Zhang, proactively contacted us via WeChat, providing a complete check-in process in advance. Since the hotel is located on the mountaintop, a cable car ride is essential. Xiao Zhang seamlessly coordinated all transportation: after checking in at the foot of the mountain, we were guided to a VIP cable car channel. A dedicated shuttle awaited us at the cable car's upper station exit, and we could call for a shuttle anytime for exploring within the scenic area. He also helped us redeem fast-pass privileges for attractions, allowing us to skip queues for popular cliffside activities, and provided a one-on-one explanation of the two-day unlimited park access. The service was truly attentive, enthusiastic, and thorough – definitely deserving of a five-star rating. My sincere thanks again to Butler Xiao Zhang for his warm service, and to all the staff members. A heartfelt thank you! You've all worked incredibly hard!

The hotel lady is very nice, polite and welcoming. As they saw that I was pregnant, they offered to help carry our bags to our room. The view from the room is lovely. Bathtub on the balcony is relaxing and can enjoy the nice view at the same time.
I read some reviews about bugs. This homestay is in the middle of nature, so naturally you can expect bugs to be around. We were lucky with only one flying bug in our bedroom.
Some minor things, like the door handle of the bathroom door wasn’t securely fastened and the bathtub leaked a bit. But it was nothing major.
The pool could maybe use a bit of a shady area, as it gets quite hot on sunny days and there is nowhere to relax in the pool in the shade. This is just a tip. We enjoyed the pool either way. There is a wonderful view from the pool and the water was nice and cool.
