The Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal!
You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience.
The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰
The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth.
It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.

Incredibly high value for money!
Pet-friendly was my top priority when choosing a hotel for this trip, and I'm very satisfied. They even let me bring my dog.
The room was fantastic, a dream room indeed! The balcony was amazing.
The owners were incredibly patient and attentive, speaking gently and politely. Their service was exceptionally good; they were always there to help.

We took advantage of Hangzhou's spring break for an off-peak trip to Wuyuan before the May Day holiday. The prices were very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. It was our first time in Wuyuan, and the guesthouse we picked had a wonderful natural environment with fresh air. We stayed for several days, and the owner was incredibly warm and helpful, plus the place was very clean. There's a lake nearby where we even enjoyed a bamboo raft ride. The kids absolutely loved it!

Guest UserThis guesthouse, located within the Huangling Scenic Area, is operated by the scenic area itself, part of the same group as Zhushan Hotel. It includes tickets and cable car access. There's a special lane for the cable car, so you don't have to queue. After exiting the cable car station, an electric shuttle takes you to the reception center, where a butler then escorts you to your building. Overall, the experience was quite good.
We were a group of three and chose a family room, which was assigned to the second floor of Shendetang, a location closer to the old town center. The environment was lovely. Although the building is very old (and the furnishings inside are also quite dated), it was relatively clean. It's suitable for those who don't mind older facilities (if you prefer something newer, Zhushan would be a better choice). Also, since it's a guesthouse in a tourist area, there are always visitors passing by. Old houses don't offer any soundproofing, so if you plan to rest in your room during the day, you'll need to bring earplugs.
Breakfast required a walk to the Food Street. I initially expected it to be a mass-produced buffet, but the variety and taste were surprisingly good. I'd recommend it if the price isn't too inflated during off-peak seasons; otherwise, it might not be worth it.

NadineisinshanghaiWe stayed for 3 days in this lovely hotel, the lady running the place was really nice and helped us organising trips in the Wuyuan area. From the terrace you have a great view of the village and can take great photos. The rooms are spacious and offer everything you need.
The lobby/ breakfast area has a lot of charme, since all the furniture is from another era and so the place just feels very original and homey. Even though on 2 of 3 days we were the only guests, we got a full buffet of delicious Chinese food for breakfast, including a good coffee.
The organised trips with Mister Yu were such a pleasure, he showed us the best spots in the area and was a really good driver.

The hotel's environment was peaceful and refined, creating a wonderful ambiance. The location is excellent and convenient, with all attractions within walking distance. The breakfast offered a rich variety of local delicacies, and the various performances and shows in the scenic area were vibrant and engaging, making for a truly enjoyable experience. Highly recommend staying here!

The hotel room was quite spacious and even had a balcony, and being a standalone building, it was very quiet. The front desk staff were lovely and very welcoming. I had a great experience, and the firework displays were beautiful. The hotel breakfast had a wide variety of options and tasted delicious. The service was thoughtful and meticulous, making me feel right at home. The staff, especially those at the Western and Chinese breakfast stations, were warm, friendly, and professional. I was extremely satisfied with everything, from the front desk reception to the room service. It truly made my trip very comfortable and relaxing.

C.R.TunnAfter spending a night on Sanqingshan, I made my way down the mountain and checked into the resort again. Whilst my room was being cleaned, I opted to wait by the area by the lobby and it was shut. I asked a young female waitress to let me in so I can sit on a comfortable sofa whilst waiting for my room and she let me through when she realised that I was so knackered after coming down from the mountain and there was no where else to sit in the lobby. She fastened the rope behind me so no-one else could get through and left me there to rest.
10, 15 or maybe 20 minutes went by and approached the reception again and this time was given my room key and gestured where to go. I was a little annoyed for not being told that my room was ready.
It was in a different wing of the resort to my previous room. This resort is huge. The room was so spacious and beautiful with a double bed.
I then went downstairs to the area by the lobby to order an early lunch but was told by the young female waitress that it was closed until 12:30. I asked if I could order a 3 course meal from the menu and they can bring it up to my room. They said it was fine and I also managed to speak to the chef to see what was available. I was forewarned that it might take a while to cook. I placed my order anyway and went back to my room. The wait was worth it and all the courses were so delicious.
Despite the feeling of being disorganised, most staff in this resort are really quite helpful.

Anonymous UserThe price is reasonable, the service attitude is great, and it's very convenient. You definitely have to try the breakfast, especially the Dengzhan Guo and lead powder noodles, they have both. Someone even helped with our luggage, which made our stay very comfortable. The room had no strange smells and no dirty spots, perfect for a vacation. The only minor issue was with the separate shower and toilet – the toilet was positioned so that it was hard to close the door properly when sitting on it, and the gap was very small, almost like staring at the door face-to-face. They also provided two bottles of Ge Xian Village water, which I took with me on the road. Ge Xian Village itself is stunning, but it was incredibly hot during the summer vacation.
