"I have stayed at Hotel Continental several times over the years and it never disappoints.
It is good value for money, the hotel is spotlessly clean, very close to the sanctuary and with several shops, including restaurants and take-out venues, nearby. It has a welcoming feel to it and lovely, helpful staff. They changed my room since there was availability without any fuss when I found that the original room had a bath and I have problems getting in and out of one (admittedly, this was my fault as I should have stated so during the reservation, but I'd never had a room with a bath before and I assumed all rooms had showers).
I was informed that the fourth floor was all recently fitted with air conditioning, which is not a common feature in Lourdes hotels as far as I can remember. Even though I had a room partially overlooking a busy street, the double-glazing did its work and the noise didn't disturb me at all. The buffet breakfast is also very good for a three star hotel.
Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lourdes."

Suresh3We enjoyed well but only one bad thing happened next room people were talking shouting closed doors banging because there is no sound proof door or window available we couldn’t sleep well otherwise everything good I hope alba hotel will update this leakage thank you and one more thing day time receptionist Kanma she was great we will come back next time for her because her hospitality 👍

🌟 Excellent Stay at Hotel Lutetia – Perfect Location & Comfort! 🌟
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lutetia in Lourdes. The location is absolutely unbeatable—just a few steps away from the train station, making arrival and departure incredibly convenient. The rooms were impressively spacious, clean, and very well-maintained. Everything felt fresh and tidy, and the modern elevator access made it easy to move around, especially with luggage.
Another big advantage is the location—within easy reach of the Grotto and the Basilica, which made our visits smooth and stress-free. There are also plenty of great places to eat nearby, so you’re never short of dining options.
What truly stood out was the friendliness of the staff. They were welcoming, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, a superb hotel that offers comfort, convenience, and excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lourdes!

Guest UserGreat hotel in a great location! Just a 10 minute walk to the Grotto, and right opposite the stop for the airport shuttle. The hotel was spacious and clean with a relaxing air. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. They wanted to make sure guests were comfortable. I highly recommend booking a superior room rather than a standard one. I had a room on the top floor with amazing views of mountains, and the river - as well as other hotels. The room was large and clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee replenished every day. When I arrived, there was a free bottle of water in the fridge and a little gift of a Lourdes medal plus a couple of sweets, with a beautiful and kind note from the manager. I really appreciated those touches. I would stay here again.

Guest UserThe best was its location to the Sanctuary of Lourdes ant its closeness to shops & restaurants. The room was a huge size for 2. Bed was comfortable, carpet needs freshen up with shampoo. Toilet was roomy very clean. Worst - was no early check in consideration since there were no other customers checking in from 1200-1500h. Other five stars hotels were far more considerate in my experience. I just sat on the sofa, very unwelcoming reception. When you wanted to update on the news or watch drama no English channel. Hotels should cater to costumers needs not personalized for a country. Very frustrating. I might still recommend this place. There’s always a way for improvement.

The lady receptionist was super friendly and accommodating, she even checked me early so big thank you to her. Mr Miguel the receptionist was such a lovely man but Mr Jan the receptionist was a bit harsh in his responses to people and was treating guests as they are stupid, very sad to see that Infront of me. The room is nice and big and well maintained. The breakfast costs 10 euros which includes a variety of fruits, pork sausages, omelette, ham, cheese and other basics, it's the same every day. The location is super a few minutes away from the Lourdes Basilica making it a great stay for those interested in visiting St Lourdes.

nursewandererI arrived early and was allowed to leave my bag in the storage room before check-in, although I would have appreciated a bit more assistance instead of just being directed there. The check-in process itself was smooth and efficient. I was attended by Margie, who was very helpful and friendly. She gave useful tips about the area and information about activities in the sanctuary, which I really appreciated.
As for the amenities, I wasn’t aware that towels were not included, so I had to pay extra for them. The room was also a bit cold, and I wasn’t sure if the heater was working properly, although there was an extra throw provided. The toilet was clean, but it would be better to have a separate hand soap by the sink instead of using the same product provided in the shower for both shampoo and body wash.
The food (dinner buffet) was very good, though I think it could be more affordable and offer a wider variety of options. Overall, I had a pleasant stay, and the biggest highlight was the hotel’s accessibility to the sanctuary.

The hotel is well-located, just a 7-minute walk from the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, offering stunning views if you choose a room with a river view. The breakfast is delicious and really nice. However, it's important to note that the hotel has an old decoration, reminiscent of 40 years ago, and is not well-maintained; it lacks soundproofing. If we didn't get a room with a view to the river, my experience could be worse. Considering these factors, I'm not planning to stay in this hotel again.

The hotel is at the other end of the action ( activities , eateries, and shopping. A good 10 minutes walk to the action area. The room is rather small for two to move freely. We let each other pass as the space is for two mid size person. The shower was somewhat ' tickling ' , the control of the water temperature was a challenge. Breakfast is 9 euros, per pax, which is basic continental ( no ham and eggs ), which is convenient for early riser as other eateries start 8ish. Luggage storage is allowed. Checkout time was allowed at 11am ( specified at 10 am). The staff were helpful and pleasant. Overall stay for us is pleasant although I dislike the shower.

Guest UserWe really liked the place. It's not the most modern, but everyone was genuinely kind. The only thing I didn't like was that the room got really hot, and even though they gave us a fan, it wasn't enough. Other than that, we were very happy.
