Amazing
OOriginutThe accommodation is beautiful, surrounded by scenic views and nature. The atmosphere is peaceful, with stunning views of the large mountain range all around. This kind of atmosphere is hard to find in Khao Yai. The room is comfortable and features a large stone bathtub, perfect for two people – very romantic and ideal for couples. The rooms in the Kirimaya zone are limited, so it doesn't feel crowded. Breakfast is served at the restaurant in the Atta zone, with buggy service available for transport. All staff members provide excellent service and a warm welcome. Overall, I'm very impressed.
JJunnie LI stayed at the pool villa but, in hindsight, would have chosen the suites in the main building instead, as they offer a better panoramic view of the mountains. The suites come with an outdoor terrace balcony that overlooks the breathtaking scenery—perfect for sipping champagne or reading a book. The villas, being at the edge of the mountain, don’t provide that same sweeping view, but the upside is the private dipping pool where you can truly swim in privacy. The villa also features a tub that opens directly to the pool, letting you soak while listening to birdsong and feeling immersed in nature.
Amenities were ample and high quality, all featuring L’Occitane products. The upkeep of the rooms was excellent—comfortable, minimal, yet luxurious. The only downside was the porch area by the private pool, where the wooden panels showed some wear and tear.
Breakfast was a pleasant surprise: a small buffet, but everything was high quality and tasty, with enough variety to keep it interesting for a 2night stay. The resort itself is small and compact, which adds to its charm, though it would have been even better if there was a gym (personal preference).
AAnonymous UserA beautifully designed hotel with a unique train-inspired theme. The overall atmosphere is charming and thoughtfully done, although some rooms may not look as vibrant or polished as the photos shown online. We requested to change rooms once, and the staff handled everything very professionally.
The staff here truly stand out — they are extremely kind, attentive, and genuinely eager to help at all times. Their service made the stay feel warm and welcoming.
The food was generally well prepared. Some dishes suited our taste while some not, but the staff were very caring and attentive, even checking in when they noticed we weren’t eating much, concerned that the food might not be to our liking.
Overall, this is a great place for a relaxing getaway. It’s the kind of place where you can comfortably spend the whole day enjoying the property without needing to go anywhere else.
AAlyssa119028Saw the beautiful photos taken by travellers and was attracted to try out. Some villas view are restricted. Breakfast was a little limited in choices. Tried out the spa but experiences were just average. Spa atmosphere was also a little dull. During check-in, the front desk member was very kind to allow us select the room view when our initial room view was very much limited. In-door jacuzzi was available and this was probably the plus point for this trip as the outdoor pool water did not seem good to swim.
MMeloooodyHad a 3d2n in this resort. The room itself was very big and we were amazed by the private pool, rooftop Terrance and the onsen. We were able to do the check in at the room itself. Their services provided were very good. You can also have your own bbq at the rooftop however you might really need to tell them you want have the bbq your own. If not they will helped you cooked the food and served to your room. The quality of the bbq food I would say was average only. Could have been better. I like that we can get to choose in room dinning for our breakfast and there’s quite a few options for the breakfast. As for the location wise, it was a very ulu place and some of the road leading to the place doesn’t have lamp post light and a lot of pit holes making it hard to drive in the dark. Have to take note of the parking place as you need to park on a down slope 😅. Other than that it was still a good experience staying there!
AAnonymous UserI've always loved mountain vacations and have been looking for good, upscale ones. The usual price is around 3,000 RMB after tax, and 5,000-6,000 RMB during holidays. This place perfectly suits my taste; the food and service are both good, and the environment is really nice. However, there are an overwhelming number of insects—all kinds of bugs. There were even some in the swimming pool, and the ants were huge. There were also some in the room at night. My suggestion is that for a room at this price point, the bath towels should be replaced. They were all very old. Although we brought our own disposable ones, hotels at this price point should pay more attention to details.
AAnonymous UserWe had a fantastic stay at dusitD2 Khao Yai. The architecture is stunning and offers a sleek, modern contrast to the lush greenery of the surrounding mountains. Our room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and a great view. The highlight was definitely the infinity pool—it’s the perfect place to unwind at sunset. Special thanks to the staff who were incredibly attentive and made us feel welcome from the moment we checked in. Highly recommend for a stylish weekend getaway!
KKate AussieThis room at Mövenpick Khao Yai was booked for my parents, and overall the stay was positive.
The room was large, clean, and comfortable, with a nice open layout, good bathroom design, and a balcony overlooking the gardens and golf course. Housekeeping standards were good, and the room was well maintained.
Staff throughout the resort were excellent. Service was friendly, professional, and responsive whenever assistance was needed.
Breakfast was very good, with strong egg and noodle stations and consistent quality. The Italian restaurant on site is excellent, though on the expensive side. The pool areas are large and well kept, but there is limited shade during hot parts of the day.
The resort grounds are expansive and attractive, though this does mean a fair amount of walking if your room is located further from reception or facilities.
An important note is that a car or permanent driver is essential, as there are no nearby taxi or transport options.
Overall, this was a comfortable stay with good service and facilities, particularly suitable for families who value space and resort-style surroundings.
GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at The Piano Resort, and it was a truly delightful experience. The property has undergone a recent renovation, resulting in a modern and inviting atmosphere. The accommodations were beautifully appointed and clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing space to unwind.
The highlight of my stay was the stunning scenery during the rainy season. The combination of fog and humidity created a magical ambiance, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The large swimming pool was a welcome addition, offering a refreshing escape on hot days.
For those who need to stay productive while traveling, the on-site cafe was a convenient and comfortable place to work. Overall, The Piano Resort is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.
