Pondok Santi Estate is truly an exceptional place to stay. We stayed at Pondok Santi Estate in Gili Trawangan for four nights, and from the very first moment, everything exceeded our expectations. The level of service is outstanding — a true 5 out of 5 — and the experience feels much more like a five-star luxury resort rather than a hotel. Every detail is beautifully designed and perfectly maintained. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and extremely comfortable. Housekeeping is impeccable, and the staff is attentive without ever being intrusive. The restaurant experience deserves special praise. The food quality, presentation, and service were consistently excellent. Breakfasts were a highlight of our stay — fresh, delicious, and served in a peaceful, beautiful setting that made every morning feel special. What truly sets this resort apart is the warmth and professionalism of the team. From the room staff to the restaurant team, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. Personally, Gili Trawangan itself is not a destination that impressed me greatly. However, Pondok Santi Estate completely transformed our experience and made the island a place I would happily return to again — specifically because of this resort. We feel very fortunate to have stayed here and are deeply grateful for such a memorable and high-quality experience. Pondok Santi Estate is a true sanctuary of comfort, elegance, and exceptional hospitality, and we would not hesitate to return.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right on the beachfront with private sun loungers. The staff are welcoming, and there's a tap outside each villa to rinse off sand after the beach. We were greeted wonderfully and checked in immediately as our room was ready. They promptly brought welcome drinks and cold towels. Regarding the downsides: there are no disposable toothbrushes or body lotion. The water isn't in disposable bottles but in a carafe that you have to refill yourself in the lobby. The room is very dark with insufficient lighting. The windows aren't airtight, leading to high street noise, especially when the call to prayer starts at night. The refrigerator is also very noisy. The air conditioner is positioned to blow directly onto the bed, so we had to sleep with our heads at the foot of the bed. The AC is also loud. There were strange worm-like caterpillars crawling in the bathroom and room. There are no power outlets near the beds. Breakfast is à la carte, with an additional buffet offering vegetables, fruits, cheese, cold cuts, and pastries. The breakfast food isn't very good; poached eggs were overcooked. A plus is that you can order several dishes from the menu. The latte coffee was very bitter, and I had to add milk myself. I believe the price for this hotel is too high. The only plus is the location – it's conveniently situated a 10-minute walk from the port and has a beach spot where you can see turtles.

We stayed as two couples and had a spectacular time at Kelapa. Ren the manager was ready to help our every need straight away and helped us book bikes and trips. She went as far as confirming we didn't pay too much when we booked others on our own. The villa itself was clean, tidy and exactly what we were looking for. The pool is huge but rather deep for the most part so you'll want to keep an extra eye on children. The Kelapa boys would come by to clean the place every morning about 10-11am and did an excellent job. They were very polite and made sure not to go into your room to clean without asking first. I gave one less star on location because it's in the heart of the island where it's much quieter. If you're looking for a night out you'll definitely need a bike or carriage arranged, otherwise you can expect a long walk home. Trawangan Oasis is a beautiful resort with two lovely big swimming pools. We stayed in a bungalow which was amazing. The beds said they were doubles but they’re not doubles. They were actually bigger than a king-size bed which we were very happy with. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also had a spa massage which we felt relieved and refreshed after, we also ate at the hotel which was reasonable prices next to nothing for most meals and breakfast was included and fruit juice and coffee which just set us up for the day we were definitely go back to visit. Would like to thank Mark the Aussie owner was very friendly and informative about the island. And they have a couple of house pets Donald the duck that you can see in the pool at the swims with you really friendly and a cat called catty.🫶🏻🙏🏻 And how could I forget buzz the Barman best Bowman on the island.😎

This hotel is really great! It offers excellent value for money. It's beachfront, with the beach and boats just across the road. The rooms are decent, although we ended up with one right at the very end of the hotel, so it was quite a walk to get there, but that wasn't a problem. Breakfasts are good, with plenty of options. We only used the large pool, which was fantastic and clean; there's also a deeper pool (2.2m) for diving. The grounds are beautiful, and there are lots of cafes and bars nearby, but we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The prices there were more reasonable than elsewhere. Every evening, there's also a BBQ dinner on the beach for 250k per person (drinks not included), where they grill seafood right in front of you. It was charming. For excursions, we took a 5-hour snorkeling trip around the Gili islands, which we enjoyed. The hotel also offers bike rentals for half a day (25k) and a full day (50k). The bikes were a bit worn from age, but comfortable to ride – we cycled around the entire island on our first day. On the second day, we rented a scooter for 150k for half a day. We didn't ride the horses; we felt sorry for them. Overall, everything was superb! We'll definitely be back to Gili T next year!

I had a really nice stay at Jambuluwuk Oceano Gili Trawangan. The hotel is located in a quieter part of the island, which was perfect for relaxing while still being easy to reach the center by bike. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the resort was beautiful. The pools and beachfront area were definitely highlights of the stay. The staff was very friendly and always helpful throughout my trip. Breakfast was correct with enough variety to start the day well, even if it could be improved a little. I also loved the location for watching the sunset and snorkeling nearby. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel for a relaxing trip in Gili Trawangan.

The hotel was excellent...rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious and accommodating for our group of 8. The pool area was great with sun lounges. Location is very central to the port, local restaurants and hiring/booking options. We didn't eat at the restaurant but drinks service was great. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, the hotel was okay; we stayed for one night. I didn't like that they mixed up my breakfast and insisted it was what I ordered, but they didn't change it, so oh well. The pool was nice, the location was okay, and we rented a bike nearby. It cost 250,000 at the hotel, but we got one for 150,000 for a night at a nearby hotel. We checked in early and checked out late, no issues there.

Overall, the exterior and breakfast were nice. However, as expected, the cleanliness issues—such as the outdoor restrooms, showers, and ants on the floor—seem unavoidable. Haha. If you are willing to take this into account, then go. Also, since it is located in the north, it is quiet.

Absolutely the best place to stay in Gili T! The pool is fantastic, the food is incredibly tasty, and the staff are truly amazing always attentive and guaranteed to put a smile on your face. I'll definitely be coming back!
