Great
GGuest UserI love this city so much so I booked this hotel. But i did't know why the housekeeping just used the key and opened the door directly after knocking twice. I haven't walked to the door yet and he just opened the door and came in. I was pissed. Can you please just call first or maybe wait for a second till i open the door for you?!
HHIROSHIStayed for 3 nights with my family. The hotel room and restaurant were very clean and comfortable.
There is a pool where children can play, and the sea is right in front of you, so the location was great.
GGuest UserFirst off, this hotel was beautiful, and we enjoyed an early check-in from their friendly staff and some beachside help with chairs and umbrellas on their private beach. We also enjoyed some 'community areas' overlooking the water and enjoying some sun and relaxation away from the sand but still near the water. My only complaint was that I feel a little misled by the pictures on the site. I booked a 'Deluxe king room with sea view' and I paid accordingly. The pictures included a balcony on the water. Upon checkin I was told I received a 'king room with partial sea view' and I was confused. I showed them my listing and they said they were fully booked and that this is what they had for me. The room had a window that faces the ocean but the room was set back and while yes you could see the ocean through a window, it was 60 feet away over a busy deck and clearly not what I had imagined when I thought I was going to get to see the waves from my room. The room was lovely and I found that most of my time was spent on the community deck/beach anyways. Had a great time and will definitely visit this hotel again.
GGuest UserI paid the room fee on Ctrip and charged it again when I arrived at the hotel. The room rate booked on Ctrip covers all taxes and attraction fees. Checking out is the hotel trying to charge attraction fees again. Is the information channel between Ctrip and the hotel not smooth enough?
NNguyen Hoang Minh TuanYou should think of staying here when coming to Southern California. Spacious, clean rooms, reasonable prices, close to the center, easy to get around. Worth a visit.
PPaulDisappointing experience.
1. Hotel's parking is a block away across the street. Parking spots are tiny, larger cars will have hard time parking.
2. Air conditioning units are those portable things on wheels. Right in the room. Very loud, turns on/off all night.
3. Windows open sliding up - don't stay open, too old/falling apart. Also have no screen.
4. Room is the tiniest I ever seen in hotels.
5. Bathroom sink - stand alone sink with no space to put toiletries on.
Pros:
Clean.
Great location right near the beach.
Rooftop bar, restaurant onsite and great Mexican restaurant across the street.
Friendly service, front desk person was very helpful.
GGuest UserThis is a small family running business. Everything was organized perfectly. Zero time waiting. All questions were answered. All calls replied immidiately.
The room was small, but had everything a traveller needs There were a fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, a TV set, WiFi etc.
The bed and mattress were very comfortable. The window had good shades. The bathroom was super clean. There were several white and soft towels.
I took a very good overnight rest in the hotel. Give all the best scores to it.
AAnonymous UserMy room had a connecting door to the adjacent one, and both rooms seemed identical. All the faucets in my room were broken, and the air conditioning was incredibly loud. This might be due to the hotel's age; the elevators were also very slow and felt unstable. The only upsides were a small private pool (which was tiny, probably no more than 10 meters) and a 24-hour hot spring, which was an excellent amenity. Additionally, the parking lot was very spacious with ample parking spots. However, staff started clearing breakfast at 9:30 AM, despite the advertised hours being 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. My room wasn't cleaned until the third day of my stay. At 6 PM, when I went to the front desk to ask for hot water, I was told there was none.
HHaipiao79The location is close to the sea, but it is sandwiched between the two roads. It is a bit detour if you go out to eat and walk. The room is large, two TVs, but the facilities are old and the service staff is good. Stayed for two nights and the overall feeling was acceptable.
