This Dormy Inn in Tokyo is my go-to whenever I visit, and I've already recommended it to friends. The attention to detail is excellent, especially the pillows – I'm seriously impressed! It's definitely the best value for money for what I'm looking for.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station Exit 35. From Haneda Airport, you can take a bus directly to the Sunshine City bus stop.

The hotel staff, including the front desk and restaurant, were all excellent. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. On the 15th floor, there's a hot spring bath, with Yakult available in the mornings and ice cream in the evenings. The ice cream was really good – on our first day, we foolishly bought ice cream at the supermarket, but after that, we just waited for the complimentary evening ice cream! Oh, and there's free ramen available after 9:30 PM.

Everything was great, apart from the small room size.

The room is perfect for 1-2 persons. However, there might be no enough for 2 big luggage. Love the onsen amenities and ice-cream after onsen. Google Map recommended to walk from Shibuya station but walking from Harajuku station is easier.

I always have a soft spot for hotels with hot springs, especially when they have an outdoor section. It's perfect for when you want a quick dip without feeling cooped up if you stay longer. The room size was pretty standard, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a separate hallway leading into the room, which is a nice touch compared to other business hotels. 

To be honest, the location is just okay. It's a bit of a walk from the station (about 7-8 minutes, mainly because you have to cross the street right outside the subway entrance), so it's not exactly right by the station. It is, however, right in front of an elevated road, but the windows do a decent job with soundproofing.

The biggest drawback with this type of hotel is that there's only one elevator, which means you can end up waiting for quite a while.

the location is close to ueno skyliner and also tokyso station. it is good option for staying after landing and traveling shinkansen the next day. It has reading desk at the shared area of the top floor！ the onsen is always nice！ it is close to game center at Arihabara and Kanda Myoisin Shrine

If you love a good public bath and sauna, you absolutely have to try this hotel chain. And if you're a fan of sashimi rice bowls, hurry on over! This place is perfectly located between Nihonbashi and Ginza, just 5 steps straight ahead after turning left from Exit 3 of Kodemmacho Station on the Hibiya Line. Plus, there's a Seijo Ishii right next door. The amenities here are just fantastic! 👏

I recently stayed at this hot spring hotel in Akihabara, and overall it was a really relaxing experience with great convenience. The atmosphere felt calm and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and check-in was smooth. The hot spring was definitely the highlight—everything felt clean, the baths were warm and soothing, and it was an easy way to unwind after a day of exploring.  

Location-wise, it was also a big plus. Being in/near Akihabara made it simple to enjoy the area’s shops, food, and attractions without dealing with long commutes. The room was comfortable enough for a restful stay, and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything. Overall, I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing hot spring stay in a convenient Akihabara spot.

Facilities: Honestly, it's pretty average. Among the Dormy Inn hotels I've stayed at, this one is not great; it's quite old and worn.
Cleanliness: Since it's an older hotel, the conditions aren't particularly good.
Service: There's basically no service, though the rooftop terrace has a bit of a unique touch.
Also, the hot spring has separate times for men and women, which can be a bit inconvenient when you want to use it.
However, being able to see the Skytree is a nice bonus.

The hot spring was very comfortable, and there were instructions in Chinese, which made everything very convenient. After soaking in the hot spring, the hotel offered free ice cream if you felt hot.

The location is great, close to Hatchobori Station and Ginza, making subway travel very convenient.
The hot spring bath was incredibly relaxing, and they provided a full range of makeup removers.
The complimentary evening ramen was so comforting and really hit the spot.
I also loved the free ice cream and Yakult – a fun bonus!
They even had a good selection of amenities for children.

On the downside:
The standard room was really tiny, which affected the overall comfort of the stay.
There weren't many dining options nearby, and places closed quite early.
Also, the front desk staff couldn't speak English.

The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, so I slept soundly all night. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and check-in was quick. The location is also convenient. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, and I will choose this hotel again next time!

This hotel has a quiet and elegant environment, and the room gets plenty of natural light. The hygiene was exceptionally well done. The facilities are complete and functional, and the service is thoughtful and polite. It offers great value for money, and I had a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

Version 3 (Suitable for Business/Travel)

Excellent location, convenient for getting around, and the hotel facilities are new and comprehensive. The room was clean and quiet, so I rested very well. The service was efficient and thoughtful. Overall, it was a great experience and a good choice for accommodation when traveling.

This hotel is located about 15mins walk away from Nakanosakae Station and 10mins walk away from Sendai Aquarium. Mitsui Outlet is also conveniently about 10mins walk away.

Check in can be a chore as it is self service but the staffs are available to help with the information required. Other than that, the hotel is awesome!

Breakfast has a huge spread, especially with the Salmon and Tuna Sashimi to make your own don. After your onsen bath, there is ice popsicle at night and lactic drink in the morning. The hotel also provides their late night Soyu Soba for free if you are hungry.  Other than this, there is a comic library to pass your time. Room size is decent. Enjoyed my stay here for 2 nights.

the location is good as it takes only 10 mins walk from the Sendai JR Station.  Breakfast food provides a lot of choices including the famous Zunda-mochi.  You may not need to queue up at Sendai Asaichi Morning Market for Zundai mochi.  Curry beef tongue is cooked very soft and tasty.  Free ramen, Yukult, ice cream stick is provided in different time slot.  You may eat over 1 bowl of Ramen if you can during 9:30pm to 11pm every night.   Free washing machine is provided inside the onsen.  Spacious room that allows 30” luggage case to open.
Sendai is worth to visit again.

Free soba and hot onsen on night really appetizing during winter. Full facilities such as laundry, free ice cream, and enjoy comic lounge. Breakfast like a local. Surely would come again in the next trip⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The location is very convenient as it is above a subway station and close to Kokubuncho.
The breakfast was also sumptuous, and the beef tongue croquettes and beef tongue curry were delicious.

Such an amazing hotel, the location is just a few blocks away from the main travel spots which is amazing, breakfast is a typical japanese style buffet but high quality which is pretty awesome. On top of that, there is a public bath on 13th floor, not too crowded, clean facility, also the staff members are kind and supportive. Had a really good time in there, thanks!

The hotel's location is excellent, conveniently accessible from either Nippombashi or Nagahoribashi subway stations. The best option is Exit 10 at Nippombashi Station, which has an elevator – perfect if you have heavy luggage and want to avoid stairs. Dotonbori is right across the street from the hotel, and Shinsaibashi is also very close, making shopping incredibly convenient. You can even walk to Namba Station, though it's a bit further, where you'll find Takashimaya department store, which is great for browsing. The hotel has a hot spring bath, which is popular with Korean guests, and offers unlimited ice cream and Yakult! The front desk staff are warm and polite, and some even speak Chinese. There's a FamilyMart convenience store downstairs, making it super easy to grab snacks. The hotel breakfast is bountiful, and the cleanliness is impeccable. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The room was good. Although small, it was enough for a family of three. I booked a twin room, but it didn't have a bathtub. The hotel switched me to a room with a tub. The bed was smaller, but still comfortable enough to sleep in. After soaking in the hot spring every day, there were free ice cream sticks to enjoy to your heart's content, and Yakult in the morning. For this alone, it deserves a full 5 stars. The only downside was that the hotel had too many tour groups, all Koreans, and their etiquette was quite poor. In the hot spring area, I saw an elderly Korean woman scrubbing dirt off herself in the pool, and some people spitting... My goodness! 🤦‍♀️

My teenage boys thoroughly enjoyed the onsen, night ramen, ice cream, and massage chairs. The Dormy Inn is very conveniently located—Kitahama Station (Brown Line) is less than a 2-minute walk away, and Yodoyabashi Station is about a 7-minute walk at a normal pace. Convenience stores and restaurants are also within 1–3 minutes’ walk.
Aside from the cold winter temperatures, everything was excellent. There was no room cleaning during our 6-night stay; however, fresh towels were replenished daily. This is a quiet district, and if not for the winter chill, we would have gladly explored more of the surroundings on foot.
