The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station Exit 35. From Haneda Airport, you can take a bus directly to the Sunshine City bus stop.

The hotel staff, including the front desk and restaurant, were all excellent. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. On the 15th floor, there's a hot spring bath, with Yakult available in the mornings and ice cream in the evenings. The ice cream was really good – on our first day, we foolishly bought ice cream at the supermarket, but after that, we just waited for the complimentary evening ice cream! Oh, and there's free ramen available after 9:30 PM.

Everything was great, apart from the small room size.

Every time I visit Japan, I always stay at a Dormy Inn chain hot spring hotel. They're usually located right by a subway station, making transportation incredibly convenient. There's almost always a supermarket right outside too. But what really draws me in is their amazing and varied breakfast, and of course, the natural hot springs. This particular hotel is very close to Mitsukoshi Department Store, and the room even has a small balcony, which is just perfect!

Good location, room have everything you need including pajama. Did not find iron but maybe they have at front desk. Good onsen with hot and cool bath and dry sauna. In the lobby they have cash change currency machine. Nice light breakfast, but for vegan is not a lot. Don’t know why they gave me room with windows that you cannot fully open or see throw and when you open is a small view on cementry…

I had a great stay at Dormy Inn Akihabara. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but small sufficient for a solo traveller, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to explore the area. The complimentary onsen and late-night ramen were a really nice touch. I’d happily stay here again.

The location is very good. Very close to subway, JR and Shinkansen.  Many restaurants and shopping in the area including a very famous ramen downstairs.  The room is clean and the onsen is as great as usual but a little small.  Another issue is there is only 1 lift so it could take time to wait for lift.  I did not enjoy the free ramen at night but I have no reason to question its quality!  Overall, great value for money!

Next to a Tokyo metro exit, but that exit is a few minutes from the platform. There is an elevator connecting the ground floor of the exit to the underground tunnel. However, as you walk to the end of the tunnel (i.e. the gates), there are only stairs to the platform. Typical dormy inn set up. Compact room. Spa on the top floor. The water is not hot spring water though. No massage chair as well, but you get free ice cream in the afternoon/evening and yogurt drink in the morning.

I've stayed at many Dormy Inn hotels, and this time I chose the Korakuen location in Tokyo. The facilities are consistent with other branches, and the hot spring is on the basement level, so there's no outdoor bath like some other locations. Breakfast was decent. I have two complaints, though. First, this hotel might be an old building renovation, as the elevators are incredibly slow; you have to wait ages every time. Second, at other Dormy Inn branches, you can self-check-in, but here, the front desk insisted we check in with them manually. Their efficiency was terrible; it wasted so much of our time and was slower than if we had done it ourselves. I really wonder what they're thinking sometimes!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to both the train and subway stations. We were traveling to Narita Airport, and after taking the Airport Express to Asakusa Station, it was only about a 5-minute walk to the hotel. From our room, we could even see the Skytree, which was beautiful both in the morning and at night. It's very suitable for family trips, especially with kids, as they offer free yogurt in the mornings and free ramen and ice cream in the evenings, which the children loved. The only minor issue is that the facilities are a bit old; the faucet needs to be turned off very tightly, otherwise it keeps dripping. This was my first time staying in a tatami room, which was a novel experience. Most of the staff primarily spoke Japanese, with limited English, but both sides made a great effort, and basic communication was fine.

The room was really small, but the location is super convenient, close to multiple subway stations. The facilities are great, with a hot spring bath, free massage chairs, and complimentary Yakult and ice cream next to the bath. They even offer free soba noodles in the evening. Lots of local business travelers here.

Great location for access to Hibiya Line and JR. lots of places nearly to eat, especially quite a few Italian restaurants. 

I stay at Dormy Inns for the onsens mainly, Ive stayed at quite a few (Ginza, Kawasaki, Aomori, Matsumoto, Seoul etc). Onsen was ok , smaller than others. 
This Dormy Inn seemed a bit more beige and drab than others ones. Room was the smallest Ive ever had too, but comfortable enough.

Version 1 (Short & General)

The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, so I slept soundly all night. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and check-in was quick. The location is also convenient. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, and I will choose this hotel again next time!

Version 2 (Detailed & Thoughtful)

This hotel has a quiet and elegant environment, and the room gets plenty of natural light. The hygiene was exceptionally well done. The facilities are complete and functional, and the service is thoughtful and polite. It offers great value for money, and I had a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

Version 3 (Suitable for Business/Travel)

Excellent location, convenient for getting around, and the hotel facilities are new and comprehensive. The room was clean and quiet, so I rested very well. The service was efficient and thoughtful. Overall, it was a great experience and a good choice for accommodation when traveling.

This hotel is located about 15mins walk away from Nakanosakae Station and 10mins walk away from Sendai Aquarium. Mitsui Outlet is also conveniently about 10mins walk away.

Check in can be a chore as it is self service but the staffs are available to help with the information required. Other than that, the hotel is awesome!

Breakfast has a huge spread, especially with the Salmon and Tuna Sashimi to make your own don. After your onsen bath, there is ice popsicle at night and lactic drink in the morning. The hotel also provides their late night Soyu Soba for free if you are hungry.  Other than this, there is a comic library to pass your time. Room size is decent. Enjoyed my stay here for 2 nights.

Do note that the budget single rooms do not have private shower. They expect you to go to the public baths and onsens on the 3rd floor, which is a great experience. There are indoor, outdoor onsens as well as a sauna. They provide free ice cream and probiotic drinks outside the bathing area. You also get free Ramen for late night snack, which is Dormy inn's signature. The breakfast options are sufficient and tasty. Location is good, very near Sendai station. For the price point, I think this is a very good property.

Free soba and hot onsen on night really appetizing during winter. Full facilities such as laundry, free ice cream, and enjoy comic lounge. Breakfast like a local. Surely would come again in the next trip⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I booked this hotel for their free supper noodle. Had it once at Kumamoto & pining for it ever since. The onsen here only for men. Women had to go opposite hotels. Booked a smoking room & the whole floor smells of smoke. Windows cannot be opened hence was stuffy. To use the toilet you had to take a huge step up… breakfast was delicious. Not a hotel I would choose again. Kinda far from Sendai station. But near to shopping streets.

The hotel's location is excellent, conveniently accessible from either Nippombashi or Nagahoribashi subway stations. The best option is Exit 10 at Nippombashi Station, which has an elevator – perfect if you have heavy luggage and want to avoid stairs. Dotonbori is right across the street from the hotel, and Shinsaibashi is also very close, making shopping incredibly convenient. You can even walk to Namba Station, though it's a bit further, where you'll find Takashimaya department store, which is great for browsing. The hotel has a hot spring bath, which is popular with Korean guests, and offers unlimited ice cream and Yakult! The front desk staff are warm and polite, and some even speak Chinese. There's a FamilyMart convenience store downstairs, making it super easy to grab snacks. The hotel breakfast is bountiful, and the cleanliness is impeccable. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

I love the massage chairs!

The room was good. Although small, it was enough for a family of three. I booked a twin room, but it didn't have a bathtub. The hotel switched me to a room with a tub. The bed was smaller, but still comfortable enough to sleep in. After soaking in the hot spring every day, there were free ice cream sticks to enjoy to your heart's content, and Yakult in the morning. For this alone, it deserves a full 5 stars. The only downside was that the hotel had too many tour groups, all Koreans, and their etiquette was quite poor. In the hot spring area, I saw an elderly Korean woman scrubbing dirt off herself in the pool, and some people spitting... My goodness! 🤦‍♀️

## Pros:
Conveniently located near Osaka Metro's Kitahama Station🚇, just two stops from the Umeda shopping district, and not far from Shinsaibashi. While there aren't many restaurants directly around the hotel, it's primarily surrounded by office buildings and financial institutions, adjacent to the Osaka Stock Exchange.

## Cons:
Some staff members were very professional, such as a young gentleman who spoke Chinese. However, some staff had an indifferent attitude, like a middle-aged woman in the restaurant. A few individual employees displayed poor service, lacked a service-oriented mindset, and provided a very unsatisfactory experience – for instance, a young, slender Japanese female employee with her hair in a bun. I hope not to be served by her again.

## Facilities:
① The windows can be opened to a certain degree, which is very useful for regularly ventilating the room and preventing a musty smell. ② The room is small, but the layout is cleverly designed and generally quite functional. However, the shower area is too cramped, making it difficult to turn around, which negatively impacts the user experience.

## Suggestions:
It would be great if the breakfast variety could be rotated every 1-2 days, and if the entry cutoff time could be adjusted to 09:30.
