The environment is great, very clean, and convenient for shopping with the subway nearby. You can also enjoy the hot springs, which have a subtle herbal scent and are very soothing. After soaking, there are delicious ice cream and Yakult available. The facilities are decent, and the room is quite spacious. The service is good, and you can store your luggage for free.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station Exit 35. From Haneda Airport, you can take a bus directly to the Sunshine City bus stop.

The hotel staff, including the front desk and restaurant, were all excellent. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. On the 15th floor, there's a hot spring bath, with Yakult available in the mornings and ice cream in the evenings. The ice cream was really good – on our first day, we foolishly bought ice cream at the supermarket, but after that, we just waited for the complimentary evening ice cream! Oh, and there's free ramen available after 9:30 PM.

Everything was great, apart from the small room size.

Right outside the hotel, you'll find a bustling street, and the subway station is a convenient 5-minute walk away. Dormy Inn's biggest selling point is its large public bath, and this particular one even has an outdoor pool! It's impressive how they've managed to fit so much into a compact Tokyo space.

This is hands down the best value-for-money hotel I've ever stayed at. The room, while not huge, was incredibly clean. I really appreciated the thoughtful detail of having an entryway partition door, which really helped with privacy.

The hotel service was also excellent. The complimentary hot spring access is a definite plus. Tsubaki-no-Yu (Tsubaki Hot Spring) is free for guests and open both in the morning and evening.

The complimentary Yonaki Soba (night-time ramen) was a lifesaver; it was such a thoughtful touch for anyone who gets hungry late at night. Plus, there's a self-service drink bar with tea, coffee, and juice. And in the morning, they offer free Yakult (lactic acid drink). After a hot spring dip, you can even grab a free ice cream, which was perfect for those late-night cravings. I'd often pop up to the 11th floor for one. They really go above and beyond!

They also provide free yukata (Japanese robes) in the room. All in all, the value for money here is outstanding. I'll definitely book this place again on my next trip to Tokyo.

Within a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Crossing, the breakfast selection isn't huge, but most of it is delicious. The room size is perfectly adequate, and it's kept very clean. The front desk staff all speak good English, and you can leave your luggage with them. I didn't get a chance to try the complimentary soba noodles in the evening or the Yakult at the public bath, but I'd definitely recommend this place to family staying in Shibuya in the future.

Service: Extremely satisfied. First off, this isn't a hotel that offers Chinese-speaking services, but the Japanese staff were incredibly kind. Even with my broken middle school English and a translation app, we managed to communicate. When I entered, the handsome guy at the front desk immediately hoisted my large suitcase onto his shoulder and carried it up to the second floor for me, and another young man helped me with check-in. Of course, as I mentioned at the beginning, this isn't a hotel with Chinese service. Initially, I couldn't find the entrance, and there was no front desk on the first floor. When I called, the staff only spoke Japanese. I asked, 'Can you speak English?' and the front desk replied, 'No, I can't speak English...' 😂 Being in a new country for the first time almost worried me to death. However, once check-in was sorted, it was all wonderful experiences.

Food: Absolutely fantastic. The main reason I booked this hotel was its reputation for high-standard and authentic Japanese buffets. Staying here meant I didn't have to stress about finding different local specialties every day. The breakfast buffet filled me up so much that I wasn't hungry at lunchtime 😂, and there were even late-night ramen noodles, which was excellent! I highly recommend booking the breakfast-inclusive package.

Facilities: The room was too small. As soon as I entered, I felt a bit unlucky. There wasn't enough space to turn around once my suitcase was in, and the shower room was tiny too. My child bumped their head while showering and started crying. Everything else was fine though; it was clean, and the toilet was a smart one.

I want to thank this hotel and all the ordinary Japanese people I met on this trip for making me feel welcomed and happy.

Next to a Tokyo metro exit, but that exit is a few minutes from the platform. There is an elevator connecting the ground floor of the exit to the underground tunnel. However, as you walk to the end of the tunnel (i.e. the gates), there are only stairs to the platform. Typical dormy inn set up. Compact room. Spa on the top floor. The water is not hot spring water though. No massage chair as well, but you get free ice cream in the afternoon/evening and yogurt drink in the morning.

Even though it's a Dormy Inn Express, it still offers hot springs and their complimentary Yonaki noodles. We booked a river view room, and the views of the Sumida River and Skytree were absolutely stunning. The breakfast was also very rich, featuring unagi don (eel rice).

I recently stayed at this hot spring hotel in Akihabara, and overall it was a really relaxing experience with great convenience. The atmosphere felt calm and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and check-in was smooth. The hot spring was definitely the highlight—everything felt clean, the baths were warm and soothing, and it was an easy way to unwind after a day of exploring.

Location-wise, it was also a big plus. Being in/near Akihabara made it simple to enjoy the area’s shops, food, and attractions without dealing with long commutes. The room was comfortable enough for a restful stay, and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything. Overall, I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing hot spring stay in a convenient Akihabara spot.

Usual good standard except several issues with the room that need pointing out. 601 is a twin, whereby one bed is perpendicular to the other. We had no bag provided in order to carry towels and items to the onsen - this is an oversight. The aircon blows directly on to the double bed irrespective of angle, and this can be disturbing or irritate. There were no spoons, so making tea was out of the question - a other oversight. And finally the most annoying thing is the super bright LED on the aircon unit that lights up the whole room at night, along with the movement-activated sensors (yes, two), in the hallway turning on very bright lights during a toilet visit in the middle of the night. The hotel staff spoke zero English, although he was friendly enough.
Room size was good at least, for Tokyo. And given the extortionate prices there, it's always best to stop only briefly and get out to the unbeaten path where half the money gets double the room.

Location of this hotel is insane, the service is good, the hotel lobby can connect to Lawson without going out to the street. But! I think Namba is a little bit chaos, normally I always stayed at Yodoyabashi, Shin Osaka and Umeda district, I think these three districts are quieter, I stayed here and hear 🚨 every night which effect my sleep quality. Anyway, the onsen is very relax and natural, and there are plenty of ice creams for free, night time ramen for free, and two massage bed for free (lots of people queues here, so be hurry!). And the room has some brown watermark on the wall so not much clean, but don’t expect much because it’s budget hotel, with all these free amenity I appreciate it so much and I couldn’t complain much. Thanks

The hotel is super close to Dotonbori, making it lively and great for evening strolls and food. There are several subway stations nearby, like Nihonbashi and Nagahoribashi. Namba is about a ten-minute walk away, perfect for picking up things like hairdryers, thermoses, and blood pressure monitors. On our last day, we took the airport bus (1800 JPY), but you can only buy same-day tickets. The bus stop is less than a five-minute walk from the hotel. The hotel offers free hot spring baths daily from 3 PM until 10 AM the next morning, along with complimentary cold drinks, tea, and ramen after 9:30 PM.

The room was a bit small, but it was very clean and tidy! The front desk offers self-service check-in/out, and toiletries are available on the first floor. There's also a lounge where you can grab a coffee. The hotel's highlight is its hot spring, which comes with complimentary popsicles, Yakult, and late-night ramen. There are several baths, including an open-air one, which was very relaxing. After a soak, you can grab a popsicle with various flavors. The hotel breakfast was quite extensive, and the udon noodles and sashimi were delicious. Overall, it's a hotel with good value for money.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Stay – Best Value, Hot Springs, and Free Food in Osaka!I had an amazing stay at Dormy Inn Premium in Osaka. The location is excellent, making it incredibly easy to access public transit, shopping districts, and local restaurants. What I loved:The Onsen (Hot Spring): The indoor and outdoor public baths are top-tier. It is the perfect way to unwind after walking 20,000 steps around Osaka. The saunas and cold plunges are a huge bonus.Free Perks: The signature free Yonaki Soba (soy sauce ramen) served every night is delicious. They also provide free ice cream after your bath in the evening and Yakult drinks in the morning. The Breakfast: Do not skip the buffet! The spread is incredible, featuring fresh local specialties, seafood, and western options.Rooms: While typical Japanese hotel rooms can be small, the ”Premium” lineup feels modern, functional, and spotlessly clean.Minor things to note:The elevators and bath areas can get quite busy during peak check-in and breakfast hours, but the staff manages it very well.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka. The amenities make it feel like a luxury ryokan experience at a reasonable price. I will definitely stay here again!

It's a pretty standard hotel, but a bit overpriced. The hot spring is really small and not a selling point. The main pros are its good location and the complimentary ramen and popsicles. If you're looking to experience a Japanese-style hotel, you could give it a try. However, if your main goal is the hot spring, it's definitely not worth it – I didn't even use it once, which felt like a waste.

This Dormy Inn is by far the best one we've stayed at in Japan! The room felt slightly larger than the standard Dormy Inn basic room types, and the highlight was definitely the multiple outdoor onsen baths available (usually there's just one). It was fantastic to try out all the different ones in rotation. The service was also excellent. The only downside is the location, which is a bit out of the way, situated between Sendai city center and Matsushima Coast (a 25-minute walk from JR Nakano-sakae Station, or a 5-minute taxi ride costing around 1000 JPY). Other than that, there are no flaws, and the Ctrip group purchase price was an absolute steal. Plus, the Kirin Beer Factory is right next door, so if you have time, you can book a tour.

Do note that the budget single rooms do not have private shower. They expect you to go to the public baths and onsens on the 3rd floor, which is a great experience. There are indoor, outdoor onsens as well as a sauna. They provide free ice cream and probiotic drinks outside the bathing area. You also get free Ramen for late night snack, which is Dormy inn's signature. The breakfast options are sufficient and tasty. Location is good, very near Sendai station. For the price point, I think this is a very good property.

Free soba and hot onsen on night really appetizing during winter. Full facilities such as laundry, free ice cream, and enjoy comic lounge. Breakfast like a local. Surely would come again in the next trip⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
