CCali LawyerI’m an international traveler from California, USA, and this was the best hotel I have ever stayed in! I normally book only five star hotels for my family (my husband, four year old, and myself) and this hotel in Tiantai truly blew us away. The design and decor is gorgeous - it transports you to a zen garden complete with sophisticated greenery and koi pond. The koi pond is beautiful and the fish are so healthy. The hotel staff was also extremely kind and accommodating, Miss Zhang walked us to a restaurant the first day we arrived and DingDing was really sweet to our four year old son. The service was the best and I didn’t feel like I had issues communicating, even with my limited Chinese, and with my family not speaking any Chinese. My husband had work calls with California at a ridiculous hour (4 am to 8 am!) and they let him use the tea room for his video calls. The value for this place is also amazing - this was the least expensive hotel I have stayed in, and also the best! I really feel like this hotel was the passion project of someone who had a grand vision and great taste. The Le Labo toiletries were such an unexpected treat. I have family in Tiantai so I will definitely be back and I can’t wait to stay here again!

GGuest UserThe room was reasonably clean, and the facilities were well-maintained. The washing machine and balcony on the fourth floor were free for use. There's no elevator, but the owner will help bring them up if needed. The food is quite good, ignoring the sweet tastes of Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces. Reservations are required. Breakfast is also quite plentiful, freshly prepared by the hostess. The hostess enjoys singing, and the equipment is at your disposal. Tahou Village is home to a large B&B complex, well-maintained by the government. There's a beautiful lotus field at the entrance. The hostess also offers a selection of clothing, but unfortunately, I didn't need to take photos.

I had a wonderful experience at this guesthouse. It’s perfectly located, just a 10-minute walk to Guoqing Temple, which is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. The guesthouse itself offers a very relaxing atmosphere—quiet, cozy, and comfortable.
One of the highlights was the homemade breakfast, which was absolutely delicious! Freshly made and full of flavor, it was the perfect way to start the day.
There are also some small, local restaurants nearby that serve tasty meals, so you don’t have to go far for a good bite. The surroundings are peaceful, making it a great place to unwind after a day of exploring the area.
Highly recommend it for anyone visiting the temple or simply looking for a calm, pleasant stay with great food!

Our room was impeccably clean and featured modern, high-quality amenities. The location is perfectly situated for visiting the area's main attraction, as the renowned Guoqing Temple is just a short 10-minute walk away. For those driving, there is ample parking available. GGuest UserI have played in Tiantai Mountain for three consecutive years, and I have lived in Lexing Huaju twice. The last time I stayed at this homestay was 24 years. I personally felt that the second floor of the 24-year stay was still cost-effective. The hotel I stayed in for 25 years, the room I saw in the hair before I came this year was upgraded, and I decisively continued to choose this. I lived on the 4th floor this time, and I still like this decoration very much. The bed was very comfortable and I slept for two nights.
One of the advantages of the homestay for me is that it is more convenient to go anywhere. It is that you want to go to Guoqing Temple and walk there, and then it is very convenient and not far from the high-speed rail station, Chicheng Mountain, Tongbai Palace, Qiongtai Xiangu.
This time I talked to the aunt of the hotel and talked about the last time I lived in the vicinity of not so many homestays in the past 24 years. This time I came to live in a homestay, and there were many new homestays nearby. But I still like it very much. I should stay again next time I come to the rooftop.
Because the breakfast made by my aunt is really healthy and delicious! ! !
Seeing that the follow-up homestay will be renamed, I think the new name and the current temperament of the homestay are also very suitable. I wish the homestay business is booming and meet more people who like it, and can spend a relaxing and happy time on the rooftop.
(PS: The room was taken without taking photos, and I could put a few aunts’ breakfasts and beautiful food photos on the rooftop.)

GGuest UserMy stay at Le Pavillon Eternel Hotel was fantastique! The hosts were very hospitable and friendly, a charming husband and wife couple; the hostess was quite a chef. I really liked how she cooked my meals, after visiting the Grand Waterfall of Tiantai and the Qiongtai Fairyland Canyon, perfect places for me to visit at the end of the year. Both are highly recommended. And this hotel is highly recommended because the entrance of these stunningly surreal, spectacular, and serene sites - all at once - are just about a 10-15 walk from the hotel. I visited the famous Buddhist Temple a few years back, so it was all about taking in this amazing waterfall and exploring this enchanting water canyon in between soaring mountains that kiss the sky. Descending back to my hotel room, it was quiet, and the bed comfortable. The heater and the wifi also worked well. The water was nice and hot in the middle of winter. The hotel is not very far from the Tiantai Shan Train Station, which is about 15-20 by taxi and costs only about 25 yuan. When I get another chance to come to Tiantai, I'll definitely come back here.

GGuest UserPushing the window is a beautiful scenery! The eldest sister's terrace is a great location to watch the sunrise (although there was fog in the mountains that day, covering the sun ☀️)! The local breakfast made by the eldest sister is delicious and can't stop! Self-driving preferred. Will definitely come again 😊😊😊

AAnonymous UserThe location is very good. Just a short walk to the right when you go out is the Tiantai Mountain Visitor Center. You can take a bus to the waterfall (buy a ticket and you can take a round trip). Go out and walk a few minutes to the left and cross the bridge to Guoqing Temple. The room is very clean and tidy. The owner is very enthusiastic. The breakfast is rich and generous. The big black dog at home is very smart. He doesn't bark when he sees a guest coming. He is actually afraid of scaring you and will take the initiative to step back and give way.

XXiakexingThe hotel's ambiance is a major plus. Firstly, its location is excellent, right next to Guoqing Temple. Secondly, the exterior is aesthetically pleasing, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The lobby's decor is also quite artistic and tasteful.
As for facilities, the breakfast restaurant on the third floor offers a great selection. On the first floor, there's a vegetarian noodle shop and a popular 'influencer' coffee shop.
The service stands out with many activities available. I participated in the Guoqing Temple exploration, which was very rewarding. The Yijinjing exercise class was also good, and they even offered complimentary congee in the evening.

GGuest UserI'd heard so much about this place, so I specifically saved a voucher to use for my birthday stay.
Before coming, I'd seen a lot of negative reviews, saying it's quite different from Hoshino Resorts in Japan. But after experiencing it myself, I actually really liked it here.
The hotel is located on the mountainside, with no particularly developed commercial areas nearby. And since it was off-season, it was very sparsely populated. Some might find this inconvenient, but for me, it was exactly what I was looking for – I love this kind of tranquility.
Tiantai Mountain itself is truly beautiful and spiritual. We happened to encounter snow on both days of our stay, and the view from the room was absolutely stunning, like a fairyland. Time itself seemed to slow down. Lighting an aromatherapy diffuser in the room made me feel completely refreshed.
Breakfast is now buffet style, which I think is great as it offers more freedom. Although the selection isn't huge, there are some unique local specialties. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel, opting instead for a farmhouse restaurant within walking distance. It was more affordable than the hotel and allowed us to try local dishes.
The hotel's service was also better than expected, perhaps thanks to the off-season? Before check-in, our butler had already added me on WeChat and provided hotel information. Knowing we were driving, they even offered suggested routes. In short, we received thoughtful service from check-in to departure. Every staff member we encountered at the hotel greeted us with a smile, bringing warmth during this cold winter.
I hope the hotel continues to maintain its standards and keeps up the good work!
