GGuest UserThe location of the homestay is very good, just by the south gate of the Great Falls parking lot, the room I live in can open the curtains to see the beautiful view of the Great Falls. The room facilities are high-end and advanced. It is also very clean, spacious and tidy, the bathroom is large, the air conditioner is warm, and the hot water is large. Just catching up with the sunny weather. I had a good time at night and came back to the yard to charge the charging pile. I was in a good mood and K had a few songs before going to bed. Sleeping at night is also very quiet: I got up late and asked the proprietress to boil water. It was also very delicious and warm to my heart. The backyard of the homestay is very large, surrounded by bamboo forests, and there are a few small squirrels jumping around on the aromatherapy tree. The wide compound also has firewood stoves and barbecue grills. This time I will come alone. Next time I will bring friends to stay for a few more days and get some local chickens and ducks. I like such a large single-family villa.

The B&B is near Guoqing Temple, just a dozen minutes' walk away. There is also the Tiantai Museum and delicious seafood nearby, all within walking distance. It is super convenient.
The breakfast was made by Auntie herself. The day we went there was the winter solstice, so she made winter solstice dumplings, which were delicious.
Very considerate, and also prepared disposable bath towels and face towels, very good

GGuest UserThe room was very new and well-equipped. It's super close to Guoqing Temple, just a short walk away. Plus, the food at the nearby small restaurants was really tasty! I happened to catch a cold because it rained, so I decided to take a bath. They even provided disposable bathtub liners, which was a very thoughtful touch. The shower had plenty of hot water, and the landlady personally made麥餅 (mai bing) for breakfast, which was quite delicious!

AAnonymous UserThe location is very good. Just a short walk to the right when you go out is the Tiantai Mountain Visitor Center. You can take a bus to the waterfall (buy a ticket and you can take a round trip). Go out and walk a few minutes to the left and cross the bridge to Guoqing Temple. The room is very clean and tidy. The owner is very enthusiastic. The breakfast is rich and generous. The big black dog at home is very smart. He doesn't bark when he sees a guest coming. He is actually afraid of scaring you and will take the initiative to step back and give way.

GGuest UserThis room type is about the size of a minibus. The space is relatively compact. The double bed is less than 1.5m. It is well-equipped. There is also a TV that can project the screen and a toilet with dry and wet separation. However, I feel that I can't stretch out when taking a shower. At that time, because the merchant's picture was wrong, we mistakenly thought that the space was quite large, so we booked a room for three people. In fact, if we insist on sleeping, one person can sleep on the sofa, but it is a bit cramped. The entire base is still under construction, and the scale feels very large. There should be more and more projects in the future, but it’s a pity that I can’t experience it this time. The boss was very hospitable and gave him a lot of free space. He brought his own ingredients and had hot pot in the lobby. Finally, the three of them set up a tent on the top of the base and spent the night. They watched shooting stars and a little bit of the sunrise, and had a deep understanding of it. Moisture in stone beams. The top of the mountain is actually still under construction, but the scenery is good, the companions are right, and it is an interesting experience.

GGuest UserI booked a package through Trip.com, which essentially included one extra lunch compared to a standard booking; all other activities were available for reservation. The hotel is quite large, so finding your room can be a bit challenging if you're not good with directions. The front desk upgraded my room, and the view was fantastic. All the staff members were very polite and greeted us warmly. The photographer for the travel shoot was also very nice, and the tea ceremony instructor gave detailed guidance. The Tomahawk pork chop for lunch was huge and thick. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the quality was excellent, and it was great that they had natto. There's an almost abandoned vegetable garden in the back, which resembles a Japanese hotel garden, with a winding path leading down. It could really use some tending.

GGuest UserWhen planning my trip to Tiantai Mountain, I searched for hotels closest to Guoqing Temple and decided on Wenquan Mountain Villa. While the hotel certainly shows its age, it's still well-maintained and efficiently operated. Due to the original architectural design, my assigned room required a bit of a walk, but I actually saw it as a good workout!
Guoqing Temple opens at 7 AM, and it's a pleasant 10-minute walk from the hotel. The early morning scenery along the path to the temple was breathtaking. After my visit, it was just right to head back to the hotel for breakfast.
In the evening, after exploring the sights, I had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. It was excellent! Even though it was a bit tricky to find and consisted entirely of private rooms, it didn't compromise the quality or taste of the food. After years of traveling, I've found that dining at the hotel often guarantees a good meal.
A dip in the hot springs in the evening was perfect for unwinding. Even in summer, the hot spring experience was fantastic! The hotel thoughtfully provided tea and snacks, which was a lovely touch. This will definitely be my first choice again when I next visit Guoqing Temple.
