"Our first stop: Tiantai Mountain.
We chose this B&B, located not far from the Tiantai Mountain scenic area and Guoqing Temple. We chose this B&B for our stay, considering the price during the National Day holiday (B&Bs offer significantly better value than hotels), and for a family trip, B&Bs offer more customization (free pick-up from the high-speed rail station, and breakfast is flatbread made by the owner herself).
After placing your order, you can add the owner on WeChat. We'll do our best to accommodate any questions or requests you have, and she's incredibly kind and welcoming. Each room has slightly different decor, but all are well-designed. I stayed in Xiao Xingyun, which boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and a tatami-mat tea table. My parents stayed in Yilu Shenghua, which is more urban and better suited for older family members.
The hotel's cleanliness was also worry-free; there was no noise at night. It's a small, four-story villa with a rooftop balcony for hanging laundry. The stay was very comfortable. It's a place I'll always remember when I visit Tiantai Mountain.
PS: We stayed two days, and each day had a different breakfast. On the second day, the hostess made us a local specialty, hulatin. It was delicious! 😋 I'd stay here again if I had the chance. It far surpassed the hotel experience."
