"I’m an international traveler from California, USA, and this was the best hotel I have ever stayed in! I normally book only five star hotels for my family (my husband, four year old, and myself) and this hotel in Tiantai truly blew us away. The design and decor is gorgeous - it transports you to a zen garden complete with sophisticated greenery and koi pond. The koi pond is beautiful and the fish are so healthy. The hotel staff was also extremely kind and accommodating, Miss Zhang walked us to a restaurant the first day we arrived and DingDing was really sweet to our four year old son. The service was the best and I didn’t feel like I had issues communicating, even with my limited Chinese, and with my family not speaking any Chinese. My husband had work calls with California at a ridiculous hour (4 am to 8 am!) and they let him use the tea room for his video calls. The value for this place is also amazing - this was the least expensive hotel I have stayed in, and also the best! I really feel like this hotel was the passion project of someone who had a grand vision and great taste. The Le Labo toiletries were such an unexpected treat. I have family in Tiantai so I will definitely be back and I can’t wait to stay here again!"

"The hotel environment is great, quiet and comfortable. The room layout is very distinctive and the details are well handled. The whole house is smart and very convenient. "I chose a weekend in spring to drive to Taizhou from Shanghai. Since there are no chain five-star hotels in Tiantai County, I chose this chain four-star Ramada on Ctrip. It was my first time staying in a Wyndham Group hotel. When booking, I requested not to have a corner room and preferably a view of the Tiantai Mountain Waterfall. The hotel met the requirements very well. When the weather is good, you can see the waterfall in the distance by opening the curtains. The hotel is only ten minutes away from the Tiantai Mountain Scenic Area by car, and it takes only one hour to drive to Linhai Fucheng. It is actually very convenient as a foothold for Taizhou tourism. The hotel is not very new, and some facilities are slightly old, but the environment is very clean, the room is large and spacious, the guest room is very clean, welcome fruit is delivered every day, and there is a robot delivery service, which is very convenient. The package I ordered includes breakfast. At first, I was not very interested in the four-star breakfast. I didn’t eat it on the first day because I wanted to sleep more. On the second day, I specially had breakfast early to cooperate with climbing Tiantai Mountain. It was unexpectedly delicious. Several small dishes are better than those made by many five-star hotels. It’s great. Overall, it’s great. It would be even better if some facilities could be updated."

"The room is quite clean. Go to the ancient temple of the Sui Dynasty and drive about five kilometers with the Great Waterfall. If there is no car, it may be a bit inconvenient. The service of several little beauties at the front desk is also OK. The hotel breakfast aunt is very attentive, rich in variety and good taste. Hotel price is quite high, recommended! The soup noodles, pan-fried pot stickers and rolls are all made on site and taste very good. "The room is large, with a Chinese Zen style, and the service is very thoughtful and enthusiastic. It's about half an hour's walk from Guoqing Temple. I stayed during the Spring Festival, parked my car at the hotel, got up early and walked to the temple. It was quiet and perfectly avoided the crowds. I was very satisfied. I didn't experience afternoon tea and hotel breakfast due to time constraints. It's a bit regrettable. I will stay here again if I have the chance. Due to the flow of tourists during the Spring Festival, I couldn't check out late. I was given a picnic mat as a gift. Anyway, the thought was received!"

"The room was upgraded, the hotel facilities were nice, and the view was great. However, here are some disappointments: 1. The time allotted for the activities was too short. I'd recommend specifying the actual time. I had planned a full day. For example, the meditation activity was listed as one hour, but it was actually less than 15 minutes. The Eight-Section Brocade activity was listed as 30 minutes, but it was only 10 minutes. If I had known this would happen, I wouldn't have made the time to plan it. I'm impressed. 2. The outer cloth bag for the sachet was gone, leaving only a thin inner bag. You should cancel this activity. I was also disappointed. 3. Breakfast was incredibly basic. Both days, it was the same lobster noodles per person. On the second day, I was really glad I only booked two nights, otherwise I wouldn't have known what to eat. 4. We ordered horse meat for dinner, which was delicious. The waiter's professionalism was at best acceptable. When the pot was brought over, I asked if they wanted to light it. They did, and the lid was removed. I saw white smoke coming out. I went back to the waiter and asked if it was ready to cook. The waiter said, ”Okay, I'll open the lid.” I have no idea what kind of service this is. 5. Then, late at night, I heard a loud noise from the room. I called front desk and was put on hold for over 20 minutes. I called again, but it seemed like there was no handoff. I don't know what happened, so I explained it again and was put on hold for another 10 minutes in the middle of the night. 6. When checking out, they asked a day in advance if they could check out late, but they told me to come back that morning (and I wouldn't see the room status the next day?). They also said if it wasn't possible then, they could just say no extension. I couldn't handle that, so I checked out right away at 10:00. There was also a hiccup when checking out. I thought the black leather case was a souvenir, so I gave it back to the front desk. They took the card and then held it out again. I was speechless. They said, ”Why don't you just use paper? If I knew my leather case had been touched by so many people, I wouldn't have used it.” Overall, the hardware is 90+, but the software (including service, content settings, etc.) is barely a passing grade."
