While the hotel certainly shows its age, it's still well-maintained and efficiently operated. Guoqing Temple opens at 7 AM, and it's a pleasant 10-minute walk from the hotel. The early morning scenery along the path to the temple was breathtaking. After my visit, it was just right to head back to the hotel for breakfast. In the evening, after exploring the sights, I had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. It was excellent! Even though it was a bit tricky to find and consisted entirely of private rooms, it didn't compromise the quality or taste of the food. After years of traveling, I've found that dining at the hotel often guarantees a good meal. A dip in the hot springs in the evening was perfect for unwinding. Even in summer, the hot spring experience was fantastic! The hotel thoughtfully provided tea and snacks, which was a lovely touch. This will definitely be my first choice again when I next visit Guoqing Temple."
