The Premier Inn Heidelberg City Bahnstadt Hotel provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Premier Inn Heidelberg City Bahnstadt Hotel offers a pleasant stay in Heidelberg for those traveling for business or leisure. The hotel is conveniently located a short 800m drive from Heidelberg Central Station. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Spielplatz Schwanenteichanlage, Wilhelmsplatz and Stadtbücherei Heidelberg. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service.
"Luggage storage before check-in worked great and very courteous gentleman at the reception area. Telephone availability previously generated band, very ugly. Check-in itself was unfortunately rather sobering due to the change in staff. Also, immediately after check-in, a pushy bartender who wanted to mix cocktails for me. Unfortunately, that didn't go away when I went out to smoke and had to go through the ”lobby”. Hotel room unfortunately the stockiest of all, despite the most expensive costs on my trip. Huge TV, nice bed, great duvet, air conditioning, design equipment... but unfortunately completely impractical, so that there was not only space to unpack my suitcase and cosmetics in the bathroom. No, unfortunately the desk was so close to the bed that there were bruises when walking around. Big plus seen too late though. Kettle with instant coffee, milk and sugar/tea was available in the room.

Great
MMonica WoongThe location is okay, about a 15-minute walk from Heidelberg Central Station.
The room was very spacious. I really liked the pantry area – it had everything we needed: a small fridge, dishwasher, induction cooker, coffee maker, and full kitchenware. Very convenient.
The bathroom was also large and suitable for elderly people or anyone needing extra care. It had heated floors, good hot water, and strong water pressure. The only downside was no toiletries like toothbrush or comb, but they do provide basic items like tissues and toilet paper.
The bed, pillows, and blanket were comfortable. The room light was a bit dim when the curtains were closed. It would be nice if slippers were provided. The air conditioning and heating worked very well.
The price was fair for Germany. Breakfast costs £17 if you book in advance, or £19 if you walk in. The breakfast had a wide variety of standard European options.
GGedebaoThis hotel is perfectly located for tourists. It's right in the tourist area, with the Old Bridge visible to the right and the church to the left. The street just outside the entrance is bustling with food and souvenirs, and is usually bustling with people. This can be a little inconvenient for drivers, as they often can't get in, requiring you to leave your luggage at the intersection before bringing it in. If you arrive early, you can park your car at the entrance and unload your luggage. Parking is available in a slightly more accessible parking lot. Because the hotel also doubles as a restaurant and accommodation, there's no lobby on the ground floor; it's all dining. The reception desk is small and rarely occupied. There are only about a dozen rooms, and the windows face the busy street, but it's not too noisy, although there are earplugs on the bedside table, apparently for noise cancellation. The room was cozy, with two windows and an old-town feel. The bed was comfortable. Overall, the experience was excellent, and I felt like I couldn't get enough of it.
WWKrisBreakfast: Amazing food, view from breakfast was the highlight
Room: Stayed for several nights, had sparkling water free bottle for first day, but water was not provided for the remaining days. I ended up boiling water with the coffee machine and had water with coffee taste for those days, because there were no kettles. If you like coffee, this would perfect though. Overall, would still highly recommend the hotel despite the ”coffee water”.
Noise: Very quiet and peaceful. I noted some comments said it was loud, but I couldn't hear any train sound. Great for business trip.
GGuest UserTraditional German style, the room layout is more traditional, the owner is very good. Convenient parking for self-driving. It is not far from the hotel to the old town. You can also cross the river first and go to the Philosopher's Trail.
GGuest UserGood location, outside the ancient city, convenient for walking around the ancient city. The room is well equipped, but a little small for three people. The service is friendly and there is an additional charge for check-in before 3pm. Overall score: 4.8.
CcclantianHotel front desk service is very good. It is a very old hotel, the key we used feels like the 18th century. Most rooms have terraces. It feels like a typical German country-style hotel with a good view around. It is about 10 minutes drive from the King Lake boat ride and about 30-40 minutes walk.
The bed is soft and the bathroom is small.
BBeijixingkaoyaA very bad experience. I checked into the hotel on the night of January 30, 25. After checking in, I took a door card to a nearby supermarket to buy some snacks. When I came back, I was absent-mindedly looking at my phone and accidentally swiped the door of the next room. Shockingly, the door card of my room actually swiped the door of the other room. An Indian man in the room and I looked at each other, and then explained the whole story. We were extremely shocked. I apologized and left.
Because we had traveled a long way, we were very tired that night and only stayed for one night. We left the next morning. And it was our door card that swiped the door of the next room. I didn’t know how to complain to the hotel at the time, so I used the suitcase and stool to block the door that night. I didn’t know if someone else’s door card could open our door. I drove away early the next morning.
韦韦Maintenance is underway near the railway station. In the past, the hotel had to cross a small bridge;
The room is more spacious. Compared with the hotels in Frankfurt, the heating in the room is sufficient. The front desk of the hotel has bread and coffee every day, which can be taken for free. The croissants are delicious;
The hotel breakfast is 10EUR/person, which is not suitable for the Chinese stomach and the variety is barren; there is a dining cart on the road in front of the hotel, and the roasted chicken legs are not bad, 2 euros apiece.
Overall recommendation.
RRebelheartLocation: across the street, ~5 mins from the hbf.
Reception: allowed early check in; they don’t always have someone at the counter so just give them a call and they will open the door for you (met some other guests, really nice people who helped me make the call!)
Lift: old and small but it works!
Room: double bed = 2 single bed merge together. had some flies initially because they left the window open to air it, service staff helped to get the flies out.
Toilet: small but manageable if you are petite, may not be suitable for big size people as the bathing area is small.
Transport: took RNV20 to and fro to the furnicular (which led to other tourist areas), super convenient!
