Poitou-Charentes Hotels with Breakfast

Beautiful and well appointed hotel. Comfortable, clean and spacious room. Tasteful decor and easy enough to find free overnight public patking space outside. Location is prime, just a few minutes walk from downtown La Rochelle. Recommended A+

All right , may be a can cheap but otherwise very good , excellent breakfast ! Nobody has a really sympathetic reception!

The hotel is very well located, with nice decor and very friendly staff. The only negative thing is that the room had a window to an interior part that overlooked the smoke outlet of several restaurants.

I really like this hotel, the location is perfect for the old town, with shops, bars, cafes etc within a few metres walk. The main transport square is only maybe 50m away, with lots of buses and bikes. It’s such a cool vibe inside the hotel, like 70’s style. Very friendly staff, very good value. The breakfast is ok, like a continental selection, nothing hot (apart from boiled eggs) but it’s fine. I’m on the second floor and here is a slight fan type noise all the time, it’s quieter as you go down each floor, but I’ve slept well. The veranda is a little grubby, as is the central outdoor area, but everything else is immaculate. Don’t expect that perfect modern hotel look, the bathroom for example looks “dated” but that’s the point - it’s really clean and looks so cool and homely, not like all the usual modern hotels that have no character. Good selection of books downstairs. I really like the place, originally booked 3 nights but extended that to just over a week which says something. Only marked 3 for Services as there’s not much else other than rooms, a chill out area and the breakfast room, so don’t expect spas/pools etc

The hotel is very good: clean, welcome and located near Futuroscope. However, we have met a little concern when booking via the site. For 5 people, we have been allocated two double rooms. We thought that a bed would be added, as is the case in many hotels, but it was not possible here. The hotel explained that the site should not have proposed this configuration, because there were not enough beds. We have kept our calm to not ruin our stay, but I find it wrong that the site asks us to pay a surcharge to change room while the error came from their side. The hotel was very comfortable and was very comfortable and was very comfortable.

The parking spaces of the underground parking lot are narrow and the parking is inconvenient. The parking space needs to be approved in advance.  The entire scope of the old town is not large. The hotel is located at the starting point of the old town, and it is easy to go shopping. 

We have booked 2 cottages for our family (2 adults, 2 children and 1 dong), mid Aug 2025, from the trip of Spain. This hotel has a huge garden, and field which our dog could run and walk a lot, two cottage (each having a double bed, a separate toilet and bathroom) which we have stayed met our expectation. Specially it has a small terrace which allowed us to stay outside with fresh air (our dog slept there) during our stay. A receptionist was pretty kind with good level of English. Two area for improvements if I could mention, hotel restaurant was closed on sunday (staff was on holiday), and even if official check in time is 16h, our room was not ready by 16h45 (only one room ready by 16h45, and the second room was ready after 17h30!). Due to our travelling plan, we have left 1am (stayed only for couple of hours here) heading to next destination, so it was quite disappointing to lose our time just for waiting for the key to check in!

Arrivés vers 20h, nous avons bien été accueillis. Chambre très propre, installation sanitaire impeccable, seul hic, la température de la douche changeait sans arrêt. Un peu bruyant sur le matin. Et machine à café en panne mais c’est un détail. Bel établissement, bon emplacement.

Excellent, friendly and very clean hotel. Great size bedroom and bathroom. I stayed solo but room very good for two people compared to others I've stayed in. The hostess, possibly proprietor was so pleasant, always busy and obviously keeps standards high. There are two buses from the station and get off at Theatre then it's a short walk. The main road leading to hotel is quite steep especially with luggage.

A friendly but big bémol team on the cleaning team, Not a single pass in 4 days when we agreed a pass in the middle of the stay when we arrived with the host person. We returned to the host on the third day, saying that there was no passage, we were told yes, the team will make a passage and still not the fourth day.
