"A very well-located hotel in the city center, with a rather original decor (perhaps a little dated...) and very decent service.
It could use a dedicated, free private parking lot. The room amenities are fairly basic, but for a short stay, they're more than adequate.
If we return to Niort, we won't hesitate to stay here again."

My daughter and I spent one night at this hotel, lovely place, well maintained and good restaurant to boot, the staff was o we all good, one waitress was a bit not bothered but everyone else was great, there is a lovely big sauna and an outdoor pool with sun loungers, everything is clean, it’s a get there, no hassle kind of hotel. I also appreciated the car park, no need to find a space out on the street.

Guest UserGood location close to the beach. Cleanliness and overall impression of the room and the terrasse could be improved. The apartment has seen better times and is in need for some renovation. On hot days and nights the AC in the apartment is not working properly for the bedroom on the first floor. The hotel and pool area is mainly suitable for families with small children and not for couples without children.

I recently stayed at the Ibis Cognac Hotel, and my overall experience was very satisfying. The hotel is ideally located near the city center, making it convenient to explore the main attractions of Cognac. Although the room was small, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome. The breakfast offered a wide variety, especially the fresh local bread and coffee, which made for a great start to the day. Overall, Ibis Cognac is a great value option for both business and leisure travelers.

Very helpful man on check in. Comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. Very good value for money. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in La Rochelle and would definitely stay again in the future.

We have booked 2 cottages for our family (2 adults, 2 children and 1 dong), mid Aug 2025, from the trip of Spain. This hotel has a huge garden, and field which our dog could run and walk a lot, two cottage (each having a double bed, a separate toilet and bathroom) which we have stayed met our expectation. Specially it has a small terrace which allowed us to stay outside with fresh air (our dog slept there) during our stay. A receptionist was pretty kind with good level of English.
Two area for improvements if I could mention, hotel restaurant was closed on sunday (staff was on holiday), and even if official check in time is 16h, our room was not ready by 16h45 (only one room ready by 16h45, and the second room was ready after 17h30!). Due to our travelling plan, we have left 1am (stayed only for couple of hours here) heading to next destination, so it was quite disappointing to lose our time just for waiting for the key to check in!

Excellently located right at the Marina district and views of the very large Ferris Wheel. 5 mins walk to the central cafe precinct and boutique shopping strips. Pathways are very well lit. The area and wider Le Rochelle is a very safe place. The Motel is close to the Buzz of it all.

This was an overnight stopover driving through from Spain to Paris... It was as expected. The receptionist was very nice and helpful and the accommodation had been recently improved. A little outside of town, and the locals (at the corner shop) were to be avoided.
