The TRAVELODGE BEDFORD GOLDINGTON ROAD was recently opened in 2025, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Bedford. The hotel is conveniently located just 4km from St Johns Station and 54km from London Luton Airport. This hotel is located near many of Bedford's attractions including St Marys Goldington, Parish Church, Goldington Rd and Aspects Leisure Park. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings.
"Comfortable in every respect. Beds & pillows & towels very good. Public doors throughout were scruffy, in need of clean & paint.
Room well ventilated should I choose. Please to find windows not nailed up ! Wall heater efficient.
Shower poor - the head if shower was not really over me as I tried to stand under it. The mechanism to change water supply from bath taps to over-head-shower was very awkward. Someone less able might have given up on it.
Room 112.
Generally very happy with booking. Carpark was easy. Plenty of spaces & sensible manouvering room.
Disappointed for solo traveller that the bedroom door security is still inadequate. No double lock or guard, despite media publicity about Travelodge bedroom security."
It was a very comfortable space having two rooms for my family and I. The rooms are perfect, although there wasn’t a fridge. We used the pub for many meals and the wide range of options made this very easy. There’s not a lot in this little village, so without a car it isn’t so convenient.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially with arranging taxis, meals etc.
would definitely stay again!
Every nook and cranny in The White Hart oozes grand antiquity and contemporary retrofitting has ensured comfort instead of a dated environ usually synonymous with aged structures.
The White Hart hits the right buttons with tasteful decor and attention to details.
There’re ‘gargles’ from old pipes probably and a cranky air-conditioner but I’m too tired to take note. I’m aware only because I’m a light sleeper.
The only drawback was the overly long prep time for my breakfast, which I had to miss unfortunately due to a lack of time. Nonetheless the manager on duty exercised discretion for not charging me for a take-out lunch requested when I’m seated for breakfast.
First time visiting Bedford and I loved this quick hotel here. Walkable distance to the train station, a few restaurants nearby and short distance to the center for shopping and food.
.
Greeted upon arrival with a smile, the rooms pretty small for a 6’3 athletic guy such as myself. However, it’s functional with everything you need.
Very helpful friendly reception staff , we couldn’t get in the main restaurant so they called “The willows “ which was on the same site to make sure we could get food there and also watch the football which was what interested my son. Room was lovely, clean, comfy huge bed and lovely powerful shower in the bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was buffet, constantly topped up with fresh food. Lovely quiet setting would definitely come back but would make sure we arrived in time to use the pool.
