Balikpapan Hotels with Breakfast

Choose a non-smoking room, but the room is still smelly. I don't know if they change the blanket or not. If you have a morning flight, I don't recommend this hotel because at the bottom of this hotel there is a small bar and live music, the bass of the music echoing into the room.

I stayed at D'Prima Bandar Balikpapan for 5 nights and I would say I had a good experience overall. The room was rather small but great for a solo traveler or maybe a couple. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the hotel feels new and clean overall with good service from the staffs. The only thing I would complain about is that my room (131) had a funky smell, I suspect it's coming from the aircon or the sewerage system. If I were to nitpick, I'd say there's no hair dryer and refrigerator which makes it a bit of an inconvenience. Overall I would recommend staying at this hotel, it's great value for money.

The hotel feels a bit old, but it's still clean. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby, as well as night market snacks and spa services, all at very affordable prices.

check in and check out were super easy and quick, excellent service. The rooms are big size for this price, a bit noisy from evening music background from corridors but livable. The breakfast spread is fantastic with local cuisines which are new to us, very yummy and the the breakfast teams are very nice and friendly Lication is abit far out from any nearby local restaurants or tuckshops, no proper pavements for walking but it is nice to see the local mosque and local houses nearby Wifi is excellant as well

Nice hotel to stay in Balikpapan, location litte bit unique because going high from mainroads, breakfast also unable to request eggs.

The thing that was unsatisfactory at this hotel during my stay was that it was very difficult to open the door because the card or door had a problem... first reported it but the officer wasn't there at t4, 3 times I reported it before I got a response, guys...

The hotel in general is poorly maintained and not clean. Some of the toilets in the lobby area were out of order and dirty/stained. The sink in our 3 rooms were cracked in the middle and plastered to keep the slabs together, however the drainage water keeps on dripping down to our feet everytime we used the sink. The bedsheets, pillowcases were not freshly new when we checked in, all the safety lockers were not working after seeking help from the maintenance, and all the fridges in all 3 rooms were either broken or missing. The aircon in our rooms were working well, however,  the aircon at the breakfast area were not working. Other clienteles were trying to get the best sitting location near the air blowers provided. we ended up sitting next to an open doorway for breakfast to get some fresh morning breeze. Food selection were limited, and the local spread was somewhat not as tasty or as fresh as other local hotels we have stayed before. We can see that the hotel used to be a grand and beautiful place, it is just a shame to see such a majestic building as Tjokro has lost its sparkle..

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night, and overall, my experience was quite pleasant. The check-in process was quick, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was clean, tidy, and comfortable enough. Amenities like the air conditioning, TV, and hot water worked well. The hotel's location is also strategic, close to dining options and public transport. For breakfast, the menu selection was quite varied and tasted good, though it would be even better if there were more options. However, one minor drawback was the poor soundproofing in the room, as noise from outside could still be heard. Overall, this hotel is suitable for both leisure and business travelers. I would consider staying here again on my next visit.

I opened a room at this hotel for a friend who was stopping over in Balikpapan, I ordered via Trip.com with the Boutique Suite type, but when the friend arrived and checked in, he was given the room type below, because the friend thought that was the room, so he just accepted it. But when I stopped by that evening, I saw that the room was not suitable and when I complained, he said he didn't know what the boutique suite had ordered. Finally moved to a suitable room.

Facilities: Although the facilities are relatively old, they are well maintained. Hygiene: There is a dedicated person to clean every day, very responsible. Environment: Sea view room, sea view swimming pool, pleasant scenery. Very satisfied.
