Amazing
GGuest UserOnsen hotel offering excellent service, superb food and privacy.
Service was next to nothing, staff offered Salmon sushi and malt tea at no extra cost as I choosed to skip breakfast to catch up with early bus schedule. The room was very clean and quite spacious.
Dinner and breakfast was in Kaiseki style. The food was excellent, particularly the sashimi and the Hida beef (both grilled and sukiyaki). The use of local ingredients added to the uniqueness of the experience.
The onsen was not big but cozy. Considering the hotel has about 20 rooms only, it offer very good privacy and I enjoyed the public bath twice alone in my 2 days stay. Rental private bath was a good surprise and worth to try if you are traveling in pair.
Location is a bit far from train and bus station up on the top of the hill, but the the pickup service and a nice view of the mountain compensated for that.
GGuest UserAlthough it is a home-operated bed and breakfast, the service facilities are no worse than large hot spring hotels, and even the service is more courteous than large hot spring hotels
Location: The guesthouse is located closer to Onsen Street, about 15 minutes from JR station
Service: Since we arrived at the hostel early, the staff helped us store our luggage and was very courteous to provide us with a map of the surrounding attractions to introduce us to how we can play;
Hygiene and facilities: The inn with a light fragrance, very comfortable; loan cut is also one of the features of this inn, after soaking in the hot spring also prepared refreshing wheat tea for us 👍
曾曾Gero Hongyekan Wanboting is really great! In Japan's three famous springs, Geroizumi, the service is very good. There is an open-air bath on the roof of a sister hotel, and there is a car to pick up and drop off at any time from 9 to 12 in the evening, which is very convenient. The water quality is so good, the sun that soaks up the skin will slide down when it falls on it. A wonderful hotel experience! The beauty at the front desk drove me out to buy urgently needed products when I was in an emergency. Every detail was great. The Japanese-style room was also spacious. I really like this place. I will definitely go again if I have a chance, and I will definitely stay here again. hotel. Breakfast is included, and the environment and ceremony are very beautiful! The hotel itself has indoor and outdoor hot springs. When it snows, get up early in the morning to soak in that outdoor hot spring, which is quiet and beautiful! Its sister pavilion has a very strange inclined elevator, and the hot spring water is the smoothest I have ever soaked in.
GGuest UserThis is the best onsen hotel we’ve stayed in, among those we’ve stayed in for the past 12 years! We stayed here for 2 nights.
We’ve extremely grateful to the hosts for their outstanding service and hospitality from the heart. Loved the thoughtfully varied menu for each meal.
The establishment is spotlessly clean and excellently maintained. Each morning, our towels and yukata (hotel gowns) were replaced. So were the amenities ( fragrant green tea packs, snacks). The housekeeping staff even offered to mop our rooms after only one night’s stay.
The wifi was also fast and sustained well in the guest room and public lounge areas. There are facilities to cater to a wide range of age groups from seniors like us and children too. There were ample resting chairs in the lounge and on the way to the historian’s well as guest rooms.
The best facility was the hot springs! They are
exactly as depicted in the hotel website. Numerous indoor pools of various temperature all have the renowned ‘beautifying’ odorless alkaline water. My skin felt so smooth and moisturized after only one soak.
What’s more the hot springs stay open for in-house guests from 10.30 am to 11 pm and day-trip visitors from 10.30 am to 8 pm. In-house guests can also use the hotsprings early from 6 to 9 am. There is a European dry sauna as well as wet steam rooms in both make and female hotspring areas.
We would love to stay here again!
Ppeony wooquite far from jr station
but walkable and have bus transfer service
dinner and breakfast are unexpectedly great
both enjoyed the hida wagyu so much, very tender and juicy
hotspring environment is authentic, traditional and family friendly
nearby attractions are reachable
Ssjf1986aaaIt is a sister hotel with Fugaku next door. Before we even got to the door, the old man of the hotel came over to confirm whether we were staying. The names of the people matched. When we left, the old man was waiting for us at the door very early. When we went out for a walk, he also thoughtfully prepared a map for us. The service of the older generation of Japanese is really amazing. There is a special room for breakfast and dinner, which tastes good. There is a private bath in the room. Open the window to the outdoor private bath. Hehe, there are several hot springs upstairs and downstairs. My wife took a bath three times a day and soaked in all the hot springs. Gero is not big, so it is suitable for a leisurely stroll for half a day, eating some snacks, returning to the hotel to taste food, watch the snow, and take a bath.
AAnonymous UserThis was my first time using this hotel, but it was non-union so I took the train to the site.
I had booked a shuttle bus from Gero Station so they took me to the hotel.
The room was spacious and clean.
Dinner and breakfast were served as a buffet.
Even though it was a weekday, there were a lot of guests and dinner reservations could only be made at 5pm or 8pm.
When eating, everyone was greedy as if they were fighting for food, which was a shame, but there won't be another time!
There was an indoor bath, an outdoor bath, and a sauna.
It's a popular hotel so it's good if you're concerned about price.
AAnonymous UserThe room is great!
Quite spacious, but most importantly, good insulation!
The shower and toilet are separate, which is good and the whole place is spacious.
Towels provided, microwave in the corridor
Also, the hotel is close to the train station and convenience store
WWilliamW1999In fact, it is actually the other hall of Yating. There are 8 rooms in total, each with a private soup pool. When checkingin, there is an exclusive butler to guide all the way. 2.7 points are absolutely not allowed. Dinner is also very good.
