My third stay at The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat. The peaceful surroundings, exceptional hospitality, and attention to detail are exactly what keep me coming back time and time again. A special highlight of this visit was dining at Jeff's Cellar. The setting inside the limestone cave is simply breathtaking, and the fine dining experience was outstanding. Another wonderful stay, and I'm already looking forward to returning again.

We stayed at Ipoh Bali Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights for our honeymoon, and we’re truly so grateful we chose a local honeymoon instead of flying overseas. This place made our trip feel peaceful, romantic, and memorable. From the moment we checked in, Raidah was incredibly warm, helpful, and friendly and she even checked us out at the end of our stay. Her hospitality really made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the trip. All the staff we met during our stay were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Every time we walked past, we were greeted with smiles, which made the atmosphere feel so warm and comfortable. We also had massages during our stay, and the masseuses were amazing. The service honestly felt like a 5-star experience, professional, relaxing, and exactly what we needed after the wedding. A special mention to the breakfast team as well, especially May, who was so kind and attentive. The food was excellent. We loved it so much that we ordered the same dishes twice during our stay, the Balinese chicken porridge and the Balinese rice set (can’t remember the exact name, but it was so good!). The room itself was spacious with beautiful high ceilings, giving such a cozy Bali-inspired atmosphere. One of our favourite parts was the sound of flowing water from the balcony at night It was incredibly calming and helped us sleep so well. The bathroom was also very spacious and came with a lovely bathtub, which made the whole honeymoon experience even more special. Honestly, the hotel felt like a 5-star resort experience to us, so we were surprised to find out it’s officially rated 3 stars. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. Overall, this was the perfect honeymoon stay for us, and we will definitely come back again in the future.

On the day I checked in, I left my things in the room and I went shopping. I did leave a Do Not Disturb sign on my door. When I came back, the minute I put down my shopping, someone tried to open my door. Looked through my peep hole and saw a middle aged woman. The key obviously did not work. She left after a while but came back with a bell boy who rang in my doorbell. I opened the door and bellboy apologised and asked if I was staying here. I said I have checked in at 3pm. Bellboy pointed at two luggages and said he sent them to the wrong room? Wait what? Whose are these? The woman said they were hers. Bell boy said he delivered them to the wrong room. Next, front desk called me and asked for my name. Not to apologise but ask for my identity. She confirmed that there’s been a mistake in assigning rooms. I asked her what do I need to do. She said nothing. No apologies. I asked her why the bellboy entered my room even though the Do Not Disturb sign was there. No answer. My advise to those who choose to stay here - double lock your doors and keep your valuables with you. They did not respect my DND sign and entered my room.

We booked a suite, and it was incredibly spacious! Having that extra room to move around is a lifesaver when traveling with children. It also features a small kitchenette, which made our trip incredibly convenient. Being able to easily prepare quick snacks or prep things for the kids right in the room was a huge plus. Another major highlight for us was the indoor swimming pool. My daughter absolutely loved it! It’s a great setup because you don't have to worry about the midday sun or sudden rain ruining pool time. Before booking, I searched everywhere online but could barely find any information or photos regarding the breakfast. The only review I managed to track down mentioned that the selection was ”limited.” Now that I've stayed here, I wanted to share these photos so future guests know exactly what to expect. Yes, the selection is on the smaller side, but the quality is great. Even with fewer options, every single food item provided happened to be a personal favorite of mine! So while it might not be a massive buffet spread, it definitely hit the spot for us.

First time staying here and I was very impressed! I absolutely loved their desserts – not too sweet, just perfect and delicious. I only realized I'd lost my gold pendant after checking out. I called customer service, fully expecting it to be gone for good, but they actually found it! They even mailed it back to me. Their service is truly exceptional. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Ipoh.

Had a pleasant stay at Hotel Kinta during my recent trip. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and located in a very convenient area—easy access to shops and food spots nearby. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The highlight of the trip was definitely the buka puasa experience. The atmosphere felt like the classic P. Ramlee & Saloma era—very lively and nostalgic. There was a live band and DJ that made the night even more happening, and the hotel staff really entertained the guests which made the whole experience feel warm and memorable. Special shoutout to Prem, Adji, Feri & Zack for the great hospitality and fun vibes throughout the night. They truly made the buka puasa experience more meriah and enjoyable. 🌙✨ Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable stay. Definitely recommended for anyone visiting and looking for a place with good vibes during Ramadan.

Best hotel, resto and staff. I stayed for 2 nights. The location quite close to Tasik Cermin but a lil far to bandar. This is fir ehom want a place tat not bustle

Yes, this is an old hotel & well maintained hotel. You can choose this hotel as part of your travel experience. They just renovate the main entrance and the elevator 🛗

I had a wonderful stay at Regalodge Hotel Ipoh. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment after a day of sightseeing. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any requests. The hotel's location is convenient, with many popular attractions and food spots nearby. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of choices. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, and I would gladly stay here again when visiting Ipoh.

Ipoh Excelsior Hotel 1. The location is excellent, with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Considering its location, it's a hotel with great value for money. 2. The hotel staff are friendly, polite, and have a good service attitude. They are very enthusiastic about helping guests. 3. Breakfast was decent, though most of the food was on the spicier side. If you don't eat spicy food, there aren't many options, and there was only one type of vegetable. A unique touch was the ice cream offered at breakfast, which kids would surely enjoy. 4. The bathroom didn't provide small hand towels. After washing my hands, I either had to use a bath towel or toilet paper, which ended up leaving paper bits all over my hands, forcing me to rewash them. 5. Overall, this hotel offers good value for money, and its excellent location makes it worth a stay.
