This was my first stay at Guantang Holiday Hotel, and I was absolutely delighted! The front desk staff were attentive and professional; check-in was efficient, and they thoughtfully informed me about the opening hours for the hot springs, breakfast, and pool, patiently answering all my questions. The guest room was clean, tidy, well-lit, and decorated in a cozy and comfortable style. The hotel boasts natural Guantang hot springs, with garden-style pools nestled among lush greenery, making for a wonderfully relaxing soak. The outdoor pool water was clean, the environment was fantastic, and the swimming experience was excellent. Breakfast offered a rich variety, including all sorts of local specialties. The hotel grounds were quiet and elegant, with greenery everywhere, making it very pleasant for a stroll. I'd love to come back with friends next time. It's my top choice for a local getaway, offering incredible value for money. I will definitely recommend this hotel to any friends and family visiting Qionghai in the future.

Consistently great, as always! I've stayed at Xana Hotelle branches up north before, but never knew there was one in Qionghai. I chose this place for a trip with my child, and it was perfect. The room is very spacious, with a sofa, and there's an underground parking lot. The environment is also very clean. What I love most is their king-size bed – zero pressure and incredibly comfortable. It's huge, easily fitting three people. We stayed in the 'Goddess Room,' which has both a shower and a bathtub, and the bathroom is also very big. Hot water comes quickly, and all the room controls are smart, which made for a great experience. It really offers incredible value for money! Breakfast is on the third floor, with both Chinese and Western options, and all the dishes are very fresh! I'll definitely choose this place again when I come back to Qionghai.

Located on an isolated island with a good omen of “鳌”. Nice experience staying there with the remarkable views all around the island. The staff from the golf club were very rude not allowing visitors walk on the wooden walkway during the entire daytime for some bureaucratic and prerogative reasons which were non-transparent and unacceptable. The food and services were at average level comparing with others.

It truly lives up to its reputation as a state guesthouse. Located on a small hill, opposite the Boao Conference and Tourism Area, it exudes a dignified and grand atmosphere with a very low density of buildings and excellent greenery. The service is, needless to say, impeccable. From the front desk to the concierge to the housekeeping staff, everyone is exceptionally professional. It's simply incomparable to ordinary hotels.

The hotel environment is green and beautiful. Our butler, Julia, provided excellent service. We had a delay and needed a late check-out, and she proactively helped us coordinate and resolve the issue. Environment

Ideal location to enjoy sea view, a short stroll to the beach, beautiful view from balcony; spacious room but with a damp stale odour, perhaps due to humidity; not quite convenient to go shopping or to town centre - 50min walk, or use Didi or taxi, no public transport

The room was clean and spacious, with comfortable bedding and excellent hygiene! No carpets, so no musty smell, which is great for people with allergies. The hotel is right by the sea; its back door opens directly onto the coastal road, next to 'The Story of the Sea' – the most beautiful dining spot by the beach. We heard that even a former UN Secretary-General once dined there. Even at night, young couples were taking wedding photos on the beach. Walking west, you reach the mouth of the Wanquan River. Overall, though it's an older four-star hotel and the exterior looks a bit dated, the air is fresh, and it's very clean. The lobby even offers complimentary tea and bananas, which is a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious. In the evening, we went to the nearby Tanmen Town Fisherman's Wharf and bought live abalone, wild sea shrimp, mouse grouper, and scallops. We brought them back to the hotel, and the restaurant chef helped prepare them for a reasonable fee, which felt much safer than eating seafood at small outside eateries! The restaurant waitstaff, especially the aunties, provided superb service. They even kindly warned us when we ordered too many extra vegetables and soup, fearing we wouldn't finish them. My first experience at a guesthouse in Bo'ao was absolutely divine! This is the right way to enjoy a beach vacation! During my few days in Bo'ao, I became a complete fan of this guesthouse. After the trip, all I could think about was how lucky I was to have made the right choice. I absolutely had to write a rave review and recommend it to everyone! First, the location—it was practically tailor-made for ocean views! Just a few minutes' walk from my room onto the beach, and in the evening, a stroll with the sea breeze to ”Story of the Sea” is incredibly convenient. The biggest surprise was the room's balcony with its panoramic view. In the morning, you don't have to squeeze onto the beach; you can just grab a coconut juice and watch the sunrise leap from the horizon—the image of light and shadow on the sea is unforgettable! There are several hidden gem restaurants nearby, serving delicious desserts like Qingbuliang and Hainan noodles, each bite a taste of fresh island life. The accommodation experience far exceeded my expectations. I thought being near the sea would be damp, but the sheets and blankets were dry and soft, and a cleaning lady came every day to clean meticulously—the cleanliness was impeccable! The amenities are incredibly thoughtful, the air conditioning is powerful, and even the smallest details are considered. Whether you want to relax and enjoy the sea view, explore the countryside, or take a short vacation, this guesthouse is perfect. The price-performance ratio is unbelievably high; for just over 200 yuan, you can get a room with a fantastic view, and the experience far surpasses hotels in the same price range. I've already recommended it to my friends who are going to Hainan, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Bo'ao!

There is a musty smell and it will take 15 minutes of air conditioning ventilation to dissipate. The location of the hotel is very remote, you need to drive 3 kilometers to reach the business. The only thing is that it is very close to the beach. You can see the beach and the sea when you open the window. There is a self-service washing machine and drying on the balcony of the room, which can also solve the problem of self-driving clothes. The front desk is a bit shabby, but the service attitude is okay. There is a restaurant on the 26th floor, which belongs to another famous hotel. For 168, it can feed a family of three, and the service attitude is quite satisfactory. The price/performance ratio is quite high
