Pros: You can walk to all the attractions, which is super convenient. There's a bus stop right downstairs with direct service to the train station. The bedding is comfortable. The TV has screen casting, and the breakfast offers a good variety. The welcome drink was delicious. Cons: The room is cramped. The bathroom is small and doesn't have a separate shower area, the room feels damp, and there's mold in the corners.

Located within a golf course, the hotel boasts a tranquil, peaceful, and comfortable environment with beautiful scenery. However, it's quite far from the city center, about a 30-minute drive from York's Old Town. If you're not traveling by car, it's not the best choice for accommodation. But if you have a car, it's an excellent option as parking is free. The hotel has two restaurants with good food, but they are very expensive and the portions are small – typical fine dining. If you don't want to spend too much on food, it's best to eat in the city before entering the hotel.

Hotel Indigo in York has a great location near to the city wall. It’s a very easy city to walk and it was nice to pop back to drop of shopping and have a rest during the day. The room was very quiet, the bed was super comfy and the shower had excellent pressure. Breakfast had lots of choice and was yummy. I really enjoyed my stay as the staff were friendly and helpful. Will stay here again when I visit York next!!

This hotel really exceeded expectations! The rooms are clean and tidy, warmly furnished, well-equipped, and very comfortable to live in. The service staff is very warm and thoughtful, and the details are handled well, making people feel at home. The location is also very convenient, it is very convenient to eat, drink and play around. The overall experience is very satisfactory, I will choose to stay here next time!

The location is very good. The staff are all in good manner and service. The breakfast is wonderful. However, there is no spare toilet paper in the room. We used up the last piece. There is also no hair dryer. The most important is there is no toilet seat cover, which raises hygiene concerns. When the toilet is flushed, bacteria and particles can spread into the air and throughout the room. Please address this issue by installing appropriate covers or taking measures to improve sanitation.

A hotel that helps a colleague make a mistake. This family was good in all aspects of the evaluation and chose this family. The hotel's been making good comments. Nice position, too! Good recommendation!

Nice cosy room outside of the main hotel. Only window was a skylight that you could open, but it didn't give a lot of natural light. Bed was comfortable and shower good. Excellent amenities within the room including tea/coffee, ironing facilities and TV. Perfect location for exploring the city and the bonus of free parking. The continental breakfast was a little sparse and if you're a vegan, you may want to let the hotel know ahead of arrival. Despite the odd area for improvement, still very good value.
