Hot Spring Hotels in Qingyuan

Came here on a friend's recommendation, and it didn't disappoint! The hotel is located in the heart of the Yingxi Peak Forest scenic area, surrounded by karst mountains, offering incredibly expansive views. Its pure white exterior really stands out amidst the peaks. Inside, it beautifully blends rustic elements with modern aesthetics, feeling both luxurious and authentic. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the cleanliness is impeccable, with comfortable and spotless bedding. The butler team, both the gentlemen and ladies, provided warm, attentive, and super-responsive service. The infinity pool on the fourth floor perfectly reflects the mountains, making for stunning photos! Nearby, you can also visit the Shan Ka La Ka Campsite and tea gardens. It’s only a 7-minute drive from the T3 Tea Garden – Yingde is a famous tea-producing region, so it’s a must-visit!

Came here for a stay during Chinese New Year and it far exceeded my expectations. You can tell it's real hot spring water; my skin felt so much better the day after my first soak, and my whole body felt wonderfully relaxed. The breakfast in the morning was very rich, and the steamed buns were delicious. In the afternoon, there were plenty of activities like ring toss, feeding ducks, and bottle painting. You could also sing karaoke, and order any food you wanted to be delivered to you. In the evening, the landlady even offered her homemade fruit wine, which was excellent. When checking out, I forgot my mouse, and they kindly helped send it back to my home. So, I snatched up a voucher in April this year and came back again. I truly recommend it! 👍🏻

What an amazing place with amazing staff who made the experience that much better. The rooms were everything we could ask for, modern and very clean with great amenities. The private hot spring alone is absolutely worth visiting too. The surrounding area is beautiful too with lots to see and do but would definitely need to rent a car as some things are far away. The staff were incredible in every way. Before our stay I asked one of the staff members called Min if she could order flowers for a special occasion and she did so without hesitation and placed them in the room upon our arrival.She was so helpful and kind throughout the whole stay, telling us the best places to visit and restaurant to go out. She even went as far as helping us order dinner at the local restaurant when we were struggling too due to our lack of speaking Chinese. The breakfast was also delicious as well and the coffee shop where it is served has great coffee and lovely pastries. I couldn’t recommend this place more for a nice weekend away in nature.

The environment is good, clean and crisp. The service is prompt and excellent. The personnel there is willing to help if you are unable to get a car by the ride hailing apps. Overall it is a nice experience in this mountain villa. The breakfast was nice and tasty. Even though there is no lift, the staff working there will be glad to assist you with your luggage. Families with kids, this magical B&B is a must-book! It's practically tailor-made for family vacations, and the experience is absolutely fantastic. The massive lawn totally gets what kids love! The lush green grass is clean and level, perfect for the little ones to run, roll around, and blow bubbles. You can completely free your hands and just let them play, while the adults relax under the canopy nearby – pure bliss. The pool water is crystal clear, so the kids can play happily and safely. Every room comes with its own private hot spring bath, offering amazing privacy. The bath is clean and odorless, and after a day of playing, a warm soak helps the kids sleep extra soundly at night. The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive to every detail! The entire B&B is clean and tidy; both the common areas and the rooms are spotless. The facilities are comprehensive and safe, with no sharp edges. Adults can relax in the hot springs and enjoy some tranquil time, while the kids can freely run wild and have a blast. This kind of family-friendly resort has already been recommended to all the moms I know, and I'll definitely be back for a second visit!

The hot spring in the small courtyard is natural, and soaking in it and sweating felt wonderful. The campsite had plenty of activities for kids, with deer, peacocks, and other animals. There were also basketball courts, a soccer field, parent-child bikes, and even a trendy 'influencer tractor.' I've been to many campsites, and very few allow open-flame charcoal grilling, let alone in a private courtyard. The front desk, room service, and restaurant staff were all excellent; the aunties were so efficient, kudos to them! In the evenings, there was a tea ceremony around a fire pit and a performance by Yao ethnic minority girls. My family of three had a fantastic time over our three-day, two-night stay, and the food was incredibly satisfying. We'll definitely come back if we get the chance. My child said he wants to return for the chicken-catching activity when he's older, because he was too small to compete with the bigger kids this time.

The duplex room type had three bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, which was great. The balcony featured a private hot spring tub with its own restroom, a very thoughtful amenity. The room also had an automatic mahjong table, which we enjoyed for three rounds, and a mini-fridge for storing fruits and drinks. The resort isn't huge, so its facilities can't compare to places like Forest Sea Sunac. We were three families, nine people in total, vacationing during the National Day holiday. The kids loved being able to walk right out to the pool to play. There's a KTV room in the restaurant that requires booking. The public facilities looked a bit old, but overall it was good and enough for us to have fun. The only real downside was the number of mosquitoes and bugs; they definitely need to step up their pest control.

The hotel is quite old, but it's well-maintained, and the room hygiene is acceptable. This family suite is a one-bedroom, one-living room, two-bathroom setup, with spacious rooms that are pretty good for families. It has two balconies, but since it's on the ground floor, the view is almost completely blocked. However, I have to complain about the bathroom. Soon after checking in, we noticed a sewage smell. First, the bathroom in the living room started smelling, which made the entire living room stinky. I reported it to the front desk, and they arranged to fix it. Later that night, when we returned, the smell in the living room bathroom was gone, but then the bathroom in the bedroom started emitting an odor. A little while later, the living room bathroom started smelling again. Overall, I wasn't satisfied with the stay because of the smell. It's likely due to old plumbing in the building. But the staff's attitude was good; they promptly brought water and carpet replenishment when requested at night. Perhaps because it was the May Day holiday, the breakfast buffet required queuing and entry in shifts. Plus, the food selection was limited, and it was crowded, so the experience wasn't great.

Service: From the front desk to various service points, or even just passing by, most staff members were courteous and greeted us proactively. They actively answered questions and explained details or resolved issues whenever we had them. This indirectly shows that the management's training for employees is excellent, ensuring the staff provides top-notch service. The first front desk attendant who checked me in, Zheng Zhuolin, even provided timely WeChat guidance on entertainment, dining, and accommodation essentials throughout my 3-day stay. Hygiene: The housekeeping staff maintained excellent cleanliness on the floors and were always responsive to requests. Overall Facilities and Environment: Every few years I visit Xilegu, and I always notice new changes and improvements. This time, the exterior of the 'Sleepless Valley' has changed significantly. Dining: I had a negative impression of the buffet at Sleepless Valley on a previous visit because it didn't align with my dining preferences, so I didn't eat there this time and don't know if it has changed or improved. What I particularly want to praise is the main building's Western restaurant. Not only is the food quality and taste excellent, but there's a wide variety suitable for all ages and different regional preferences, and the service is also impeccable. Having dined at many buffet restaurants in various scenic spots in this province over the past few years, Xilegu's buffet is, in my opinion, the best. This stay also included a complimentary roast chicken from Zhonghe Restaurant. Entertainment Facilities: The hot spring area and water park facilities haven't changed much. I visited on a Monday, and the hot spring pools were clean, and the water park environment was spotless. Although the staff members were young, they were very responsible and diligent. Shuttle Service: The shuttle effectively and safely transported guests, and the waiting time never exceeded 3 minutes.

Pros: From the moment I was greeted upon arrival to the efficient front desk communication, the service process was standardized and responsive, reflecting the professionalism of a chain hotel. Unique Design: Transformed from an ancient village and Republican-era buildings, it thoughtfully retains historical charm while incorporating modern design. Beautiful Environment: The vast rice fields in front of the hotel are a highlight, offering expansive and healing views. Reliable Facilities: The private hot spring in the villa was an excellent experience; it's said to have hot spring certification, leaving skin smooth after a soak. Excellent Travel Photography: The photographer was professional, and the photos turned out great (suggest shooting during off-peak hours). Areas for Improvement: Noisy on Weekends: On Saturdays and Sundays, the public areas (book bar, rice fields, restaurant) were very crowded with tourists, disrupting the tranquil experience for hotel guests. Dining Taste: The Chinese restaurant's dishes were a bit too salty, and on weekends, waiting times were long. Plus, the Chinese restaurant is closed on Mondays, which isn't very accommodating for guests' dining arrangements. Summary: This is a well-established resort hotel with excellent design, service, and overall experience. I highly recommend avoiding weekends to fully enjoy its beauty and tranquility.
