Mountain View Hotels in Qingyuan

we came during rainy season, so we couldn’t enjoy most tourist activities.but the homestay made up for the bad weather, and gave us the best experience we could during our 4 days in Qingyuan. the best about this stay was how amazing the staffs members were. they are extra friendly and welcoming, and always going for the extra mile. we really appreciate their hospitality and making sure me and my friend are safe during the visit. for breakfast we also added 2 cups of coffee that was very nice to have during the rainy days. the room was comfortable , spacious, and clean, with the usual amenities. the homestay is located on the mountain, next to a river and woods, which is very relaxing and the air is always so fresh. there is also a swimming pool available for guests. the only slight downside for some might be the location, but if you’re driving, or have pre booked a car, getting around will definitely not be in issue. if you’re hoping to stay at a homey, open, chill place, this will definitely be the place for you!!

Came here on a friend's recommendation, and it didn't disappoint! The hotel is located in the heart of the Yingxi Peak Forest scenic area, surrounded by karst mountains, offering incredibly expansive views. Its pure white exterior really stands out amidst the peaks. Inside, it beautifully blends rustic elements with modern aesthetics, feeling both luxurious and authentic. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the cleanliness is impeccable, with comfortable and spotless bedding. The butler team, both the gentlemen and ladies, provided warm, attentive, and super-responsive service. The infinity pool on the fourth floor perfectly reflects the mountains, making for stunning photos! Nearby, you can also visit the Shan Ka La Ka Campsite and tea gardens. It’s only a 7-minute drive from the T3 Tea Garden – Yingde is a famous tea-producing region, so it’s a must-visit!

This was an absolutely fantastic stay, with thoughtful and attentive service. As for the views, they speak for themselves – rainy days offered a poetic charm, foggy days resembled an unfurling ink wash painting, and when the sun came out, it was a completely different, vibrant landscape. Shopping was a bit inconvenient, but the hotel facilities were excellent and the service meticulous, meeting most of our needs. If you come by car, you can also explore the nearby villages and towns. We came here specifically to escape the hustle and bustle with our loved ones amidst the mountains and rivers, seeking a sense of inner peace. When you think about it that way, the somewhat remote location was perfectly fitting, wasn't it? 🙂

What an amazing place with amazing staff who made the experience that much better. The rooms were everything we could ask for, modern and very clean with great amenities. The private hot spring alone is absolutely worth visiting too. The surrounding area is beautiful too with lots to see and do but would definitely need to rent a car as some things are far away. The staff were incredible in every way. Before our stay I asked one of the staff members called Min if she could order flowers for a special occasion and she did so without hesitation and placed them in the room upon our arrival.She was so helpful and kind throughout the whole stay, telling us the best places to visit and restaurant to go out. She even went as far as helping us order dinner at the local restaurant when we were struggling too due to our lack of speaking Chinese. The breakfast was also delicious as well and the coffee shop where it is served has great coffee and lovely pastries. I couldn’t recommend this place more for a nice weekend away in nature.

Amazing overall! Style, taste, and service were all top-notch! Excellent value for money! 1. We brought our dog, and they provided a high-quality dog bed, toys, deodorant, wet wipes, and even poop bags – so thoughtful! 2. They decorated the room for our dog's birthday for free, which was incredibly heartwarming! 3. They gave us an extra breakfast, both generous and attentive! 4. They personally guided us to our room, explaining the hotel layout and functional areas along the way – truly dedicated service! 5. KTV room, billiards room, kids' play area, private hot spring, meditation room, in-room projector – all available for free on demand… Such great value… 6. The common areas looked exactly like the photos, perfect for pictures, and even had a free Nintendo Switch to play. 7. They have collaborations with local cultural and creative brands, and intangible heritage experiences, offering many discounts… Highly recommend, I'd definitely go back again!!!

The environment is good, clean and crisp. The service is prompt and excellent. The personnel there is willing to help if you are unable to get a car by the ride hailing apps. Overall it is a nice experience in this mountain villa. The breakfast was nice and tasty. Even though there is no lift, the staff working there will be glad to assist you with your luggage. I would recommend this mountain villa and I appreciate the great assistance by 张凌，谢谢你的帮助，我很感谢你。

An incredible gem of a boutique hotel, run by a friendly host who anticipates and caters to your needs. This hotel is nestled between idyllic hills and farms, and a 20min stroll (or rent their bikes at 60rmb/day) to HuangHua where there’re great restaurants and supermarkets. It was exactly what we did not know we were looking for in a short getaway from HK to Yingde. The hotel itself is clean and modern, and the food was a pleasant surprise. Being foreigners used to western-style breakfast, we were initially apprehensive while booking, but the farm-to-table, home-cooked breakfast turned out to be absolutely delicious, such that we found ourselves looking forward to it on our second morning. We felt like we lucked out with this accommodation choice, as just within walking distance from the hotel, the host brought us to local hiking trails with quite the view (tip: go at sunrise, and if conditions are right you’ll get to see the “sea of clouds”), a climbing crag and an amazing cave you’ll have to yourself. The host, who turned out to be quite the explorer and adrenaline junkie in her younger years, happily took us to them, also showing us photo spots along the way. But perhaps the best kept secret of this hotel is hinted in its name itself. From its roof terrace, we saw shooting stars fly by above the glow of the region’s famous karst.

Our two days at T Manor Tent camp were very enjoyable, with lots of peaceful walks through the plantation and some spectacular sunsets seen from our glamping tent and from the viewing area at the top of the hill which looks out over the karst-studded landscape. Our tent was located down below which was less spectacular than the tents on the hill but also less exposed and a good option. We had great service from the T Manor staff, who set up a WeChat thread so my husband could communicate with us easily as most of them didn’t speak English. One exception was Allen, a tour guide from Taiwan who was very friendly and helpful, especially on the last day when he helped organise a car to take us to our next accommodation a few hours drive away. A special mention must also go to the restaurant staff, who served us a range of tea-infused dishes and patiently went along with our many queries (our daughter is coeliac which made eating in China a little complicated). Thank you T Manor for a serene and friendly experience, we particularly loved listening to the sound of the bees pollinating the tea bushes as we eat on the veranda of our tent and looked out over the plantation.

The hotel is quite old, but it's well-maintained, and the room hygiene is acceptable. This family suite is a one-bedroom, one-living room, two-bathroom setup, with spacious rooms that are pretty good for families. It has two balconies, but since it's on the ground floor, the view is almost completely blocked. However, I have to complain about the bathroom. Soon after checking in, we noticed a sewage smell. First, the bathroom in the living room started smelling, which made the entire living room stinky. I reported it to the front desk, and they arranged to fix it. Later that night, when we returned, the smell in the living room bathroom was gone, but then the bathroom in the bedroom started emitting an odor. A little while later, the living room bathroom started smelling again. Overall, I wasn't satisfied with the stay because of the smell. It's likely due to old plumbing in the building. But the staff's attitude was good; they promptly brought water and carpet replenishment when requested at night. Perhaps because it was the May Day holiday, the breakfast buffet required queuing and entry in shifts. Plus, the food selection was limited, and it was crowded, so the experience wasn't great.

Service: From the front desk to various service points, or even just passing by, most staff members were courteous and greeted us proactively. They actively answered questions and explained details or resolved issues whenever we had them. This indirectly shows that the management's training for employees is excellent, ensuring the staff provides top-notch service. The first front desk attendant who checked me in, Zheng Zhuolin, even provided timely WeChat guidance on entertainment, dining, and accommodation essentials throughout my 3-day stay. Hygiene: The housekeeping staff maintained excellent cleanliness on the floors and were always responsive to requests. Overall Facilities and Environment: Every few years I visit Xilegu, and I always notice new changes and improvements. This time, the exterior of the 'Sleepless Valley' has changed significantly. Dining: I had a negative impression of the buffet at Sleepless Valley on a previous visit because it didn't align with my dining preferences, so I didn't eat there this time and don't know if it has changed or improved. What I particularly want to praise is the main building's Western restaurant. Not only is the food quality and taste excellent, but there's a wide variety suitable for all ages and different regional preferences, and the service is also impeccable. Having dined at many buffet restaurants in various scenic spots in this province over the past few years, Xilegu's buffet is, in my opinion, the best. This stay also included a complimentary roast chicken from Zhonghe Restaurant. Entertainment Facilities: The hot spring area and water park facilities haven't changed much. I visited on a Monday, and the hot spring pools were clean, and the water park environment was spotless. Although the staff members were young, they were very responsible and diligent. Shuttle Service: The shuttle effectively and safely transported guests, and the waiting time never exceeded 3 minutes.
