Rawi Warin Resort in Thailand hosted our destination wedding, and we were thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. As a couple from different countries who met in a foreign land but now reside together, we sought an intimate wedding with 33 guests. Rawi Warin stood out among the 20 resorts we researched on Krabi/Ko Lanta due to its remarkable beauty and elegant ambiance, ultimately leading us to book our wedding there. Throughout the planning process, the resort's communication was frequent and efficient, ensuring all our queries were promptly addressed. Upon our arrival three days before the wedding, we were struck by the well-maintained gardens, picturesque pond, and exquisite buildings, all of which contributed to the resort's appeal. The resort staff was undoubtedly the highlight of our experience, displaying genuine warmth and hospitality. They consistently greeted us with smiles and ensured our needs were met throughout our, and our guests stay. Rawi Warin's wedding package included essential elements such as decor, flowers, stationery, a wedding officiant, wedding cake and a wedding coordinator, making the planning process more streamlined. While an outdoor wedding was not possible due to weather conditions, the resort efficiently transitioned to an indoor setting, which turned out to be equally enchanting. The attention to detail in the wedding arrangements and the quality of service provided by the staff exceeded our expectations. The resort's pool was also a standout feature, and the surrounding natural beauty added to the overall allure. We moved to the resort after another not so good experience for one night on another beach. The resort is nicely located on the beach we think is the nicest to stay at if you do not want the extremely quiet experience. It is also conveniently located close to town. The breakfast buffet is very good, the pool areas great and the beach as well. The restaurant offers a dinner buffet which I think needs rethinking. We did not try the gym or the massage services which seemed expensive though. The resort is very green and on the plus side they have some resident monitor lizard which they sometimes feed close to the breakfast area. The rooms are ok but not great and could perhaps be cleaned more thoroughly. However, after intending to stay 4 nights we stay 4 nights so it was a good experience after all. We were not really impressed by the island initially but it grew on us and now we actually like it and its vibe along the beach at night a lot.

We chose Twin Lotus because it is adults only. It was romantic, peaceful, lovely, and we will definitely go back. We selected a room in the back as it was cheaper and we did not need to be on the beach. There are several,pools to choose from. The ine at the beach can get filled by 0830 but we always managed to get chairs with an umbrella. If you do not occupy your chair they remove the towel but leave your belongings. We took chairs that had a book on the side table. The book owner came and we explained no towels were on the chair. She knew the rules and said she would choose a beach chair instead ( along the beach are chairs but no umbrellas). We were thrilled she was so nice. The breakfast buffet is standard and plentiful. All the choices were delicious. No flies or ants anywhere. You may see an occasional meandering water monitor but they walk past you. The gym is immaculate and adequately equipped. The spa is wonderful with well- trained staff. We had dinner there a few times and the food was very good. There are places in the little streets behind the hotel and along the beach and next door, but Twin Lotus food was better though a bit more costly. Happy Hour drinks were good. We had a Go Dive snorkel dive tours to Koh Haa and a car ride to Old Town. Recommend both. The people in Old Town were exceptionally nice and the little museum is quaint. Eateries along their street are good. Allow two hours for Old Town not including the drive to and from. The next time we stay at Twin Lotus we will go to Phi Phi but have been before. Twin Lotus has many books to borrow located inside breakfast restaurant, There are buggies to drive you to and from your room or villa if you have mobility issues. Do not bring glass bottles or glass to the swimming pool. Any wait staff will give you a plastic mug or ”glass” to drink your beer or drink in the pool or at the pool. Please read the rules at pool entrance and follow them to keep yourself and others safe. The resort is mostly European people and everyone, young couples and older ones, singles, and all were cordial and respectful.

This is our 4th hotel out of 7 on this particular trip but sadly comes in a bit lacking for me, I had very high expectations. Firstly on check we asked about hiring a moped. The girl on the tours desk barely looked up from her phone and said “no”. We managed to rent one down the road at Miami but this is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in Thailand that doesn’t help with motorbike rental. We didn’t approach her for anything else as for me, first impressions last. Our room was okay, can’t imagine when booking why I thought a bath on the balcony was a good idea! My bad! There was tons of wardrobe space and the bed and pillows were comfy. Lacked conditioner & body lotion which I’ve found in other hotels. Generally the room was a bit tired and needed a good deep clean. The bathroom mirror hadn’t been cleaned since the last guest and we had ants around the sink on day three. The shower had very intermittent water temperatures and had black mould at the bottom near the drain. Also tea/coffee spills on the floor that hadn’t been mopped. The communal areas I also found to be grubby and unkempt. No-one sweeps up leaves and they get mingled with bits of rubbish. The sunbed areas aren’t mopped so drink spillages give sticky dirty patches. You get the gist. Breakfast was really good, plenty of choice and half decent coffee. I just found the ambience to be generally quite standoffish and unfriendly, apart from Mr Bunty who was lovely. Most days we went out to Horizon Bar on the beach, much nicer vibe. There are no showers or foot washes between the beach and the pools which results in the pool being full of sand. All in all I have been disappointed, for the price I expected better. Small improvements would make this hotel much better.

Gorgeous. Nothing to say. Attentive staff, magnificent room with sea view. Good bonus breakfast with Nutella! The gardens are very well maintained. The swimming pool and the beach are perfect for enjoying your vacation! Only downside: We came in low season, and we asked the hotel to organize a transfer for us to a nearby island. unfortunately it was quite expensive, I think the hotel is making a good profit. I think it is better to book by other means

Hotel overall is good! Simple and not luxurious, everything is in order, and has a home-like intimacy. The structure of all the guest rooms is basically the same. Some of them have the same. The closer to the swimming pool, the closer to the beach. The beach is not very long, but it is enough, suitable for the hotel. Shopping around is not particularly convenient. There are only two bottles of water in the room, and it is not convenient to buy water! The hotel restaurant is good and the food tastes great! The front desk service is warm and generous, there are people who understand Chinese, extra points!

I am grateful to the architects, you have made this hotel beautiful, especially the one-bedroom pool villa near the sea is beautiful! It gave us the first impression of luxury and shock! The most expensive room type in this hotel is unique on the same beach. In addition, even if you have a normal room type, you can enjoy the beautiful public pool. However, what does not match its expensive price is its service. In addition to the proprietress, other employees, including the hotel front desk and restaurant waiters, cannot communicate normally in English, resulting in many inconveniences in the check-in process. No matter what room type, even the villa pool room for four thousand one nights does not have any welcome fruit, or any other value-added services and small items to give you the feeling of ”VIP”. The cleaning service of the room is very untimely, and it is always embarrassing to clean when the guests are there! And the cleaning is sloppy, the table is not cleaned... In addition, the breakfast buffet is mainly for Westerners' bread and eggs, but there is no cheese, no cold cut meat, even jam, yogurt has a taste, I have seen other foreign customers disappointed eyes. When we asked if there was an Asian breakfast, the waiter told us: Sorry, no! Well...the constant breakfast for four days was a bit boring, and on the last day we had very stale bread...there was no freshly squeezed juice on the drink side, but fortunately the freshly ground coffee in the hotel was really good. In addition, although there is an employee on duty in the pool bar, the cocktail he made is really good, especially the taste recommended by the boss mango daiquira is amazing, which is better than the first five-star hotel on the island we went to later. Everyone must try it. In short, we still had a wonderful holiday in the hotel. After all, the mentality is very important when traveling. Every time I think about the price we paid, I feel that it is not worth it...

Very good hotel, the little brother will help to take a taxi is very convenient, the room is quite satisfactory, there is a small bar in the lobby on the first floor, very characteristic, comprehensively speaking very good!

Great hotel and perfect location. After coming from Bangkok and Phuket it was really nice to come to Koh Lanta and have a chilled few days on the beach. Hotel was perfect and on the beach front with restaurants and bars within walking distance. Hotel was always clean and received a great service from the hotel staff.

We stayed in that resort for 3 night only. The hotel was really hidden from the main road where taxi left us. The ground of the hotel area looked a bit rough and could be kept better. The reception was kind of an open space. The receptionist called Chicko was very kind and helpful. We had to wait about one hour for our room to be ready so we had a little curry lunch and beer on their terrace with a beautiful sea view. The hotel consisted from many single huts. Our hut was placed quite in the back (No 303). There was a fresh and pleasant scent in the room. Whole interior was designed in the typical Thai style, quite modern, although looked tired. The little fridge, kettle and AC worked fine. We didn’t try tv. The bathroom was quite small and dark. It looked like an extension to our hut. The marks for the improvements were visible there too. The bed was a too soft for our liking and the bedsheets were not in good quality. There was a mosquito bed net, which was very handy. The cleaning could be better too. Our little front door terrace was great to have a morning coffee or an evening drink. Breakfast were served on the higher floor next to the reception. It was ok. We had few lunches there and one dinner. The setting was very authentic, bamboo everywhere, sand under your feet. We really like their curry. The prices were comparable with other restaurants or bars although there were nearly none in the close distance. You should have some transport if you wish to go a bit further to find some shop. The pool area was beautiful. It required a lot of cleaning every morning as it was surrounded by many palms and trees. The sea was lovely too. The beach had the most fine sand we have ever stand on. There were a lot of sun beds on the beach, made of bamboo but lots of them were broken. The hotel area was invaded by many monkeys. They were cute to observe and took a picture but some of them were quite vicious. We have seen a snake next to our hut one afternoon. We did go for a half day hike to Mu Ko Lanta national park to take some nice pictures. We were a bit disappointed by the natural track. There were no animals and it cost 200baht. To sum it up, the hotel was lovely, quiet and relaxing, away from craziness. Great unspoiled surroundings but there were few things to be updated.
