"The mountain-view room we booked had a tatami mat, giving us plenty of space. In the evenings, we sat on the rooftop shared balcony and admired the sea view. The amenities were impeccable: the air conditioning heated and cooled quickly, and the hot water came out instantly and plentifully, making showering incredibly comfortable. The bedding was pure cotton, soft and clean, and I slept even better than at home. Although the bathroom mirror wasn't large enough, the front desk even provided a makeup mirror. Daily necessities like a hair dryer and disposable toothbrushes were all high-quality, not cheap. The common area's lounge area had bookshelves and green plants, making it a relaxing afternoon to relax with a cup of tea and gaze at the mountains. The service was truly heartwarming: from the moment we booked, the guesthouse patiently answered all our questions. Upon arrival, the owner personally met us and helped with our luggage. Knowing we wanted local cuisine, they recommended several authentic eateries and even made reservations for us. The next day, as we were waking up early to catch our flight, the hostess made a warm breakfast, complete with delicious porridge and side dishes. Our three-day stay felt like a visit to a friend's home—comfortable and heartwarming. All in all, the scenery is amazing, the facilities are complete, and the service is great. "The guesthouse is easily accessible right off the Xiapu exit of the G15 Shenhai Expressway, making it incredibly convenient for self-driving tours to attractions such as Mount Taimu, Donghai No. 1 Highway, and Dongbi Village. Located on the outskirts of Xiapu, it offers a peaceful retreat that's still very convenient. The building itself has a distinctive design, and the rooms are warmly and invitingly decorated. While the amenities might not be five-star standard, the service is truly exceptional. The young couple who run the place are fantastic; their recommended travel routes were all excellent. We followed their suggestions for our three-day self-driving trip, completely changing our original plans, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision. The Luohan Creek rafting, in particular, was an absolute unexpected highlight! The individually served breakfast was also quite good. This is hands down the best guesthouse I've ever stayed at. I highly recommend it!"
