Unlike Beijing, where I live, the mild and humid countryside in the south of the Yangtze River touched me almost instantly. Back to Cao Su, the owner Shuicao is enthusiastic and gentle, the aunt in the store is kind and amiable, and the two dogs in the yard, Xiaohei and Heijian, are extremely smart and well-behaved. The best mornings and nights here are when you can stroll around the village or sit in the yard and read after eating the healthy breakfast prepared by the aunt in the morning. At night, you can listen to the chirping of insects and lie on a recliner to watch the stars in the sky. Returning to nature is really realized here. This morning, I left the store and returned to Beijing. Xiaohei and the aunt were not sent to the village entrance by me. I think I will come back, because Cao Su not only has scenery, but more importantly, it has human touch.

The homestay in the mountains is also more convenient for parking. There is a fat ”Nana” 🐶 in the homestay. It is so cute when it is more than seven years old. In the morning, the aunt of the homestay also made pumpkin silk cakes. The environment is elegant and quiet. It is very suitable for emptying. The homestay is quite good. But when it rains, it is not convenient to turn around, otherwise it should be good to turn around, it is not far from the attractions for 30 to 40 minutes.

The highlight of my trip was definitely finding this great B&B. The room decor and design were lovely, and the bed was really comfortable. The owners, an aunt and uncle, were incredibly welcoming and warm. On my first day, I might have eaten something bad because I started having an upset stomach as soon as I arrived at the B&B. I messaged the owner to ask if they had any anti-diarrhea medicine, and they went out and bought some for me. Huge thanks to them! 🙏

The family room we booked was spacious, clean, and hygienic. Since we drove from Wenling on our first day and arrived at the B&B at 11 PM, the owner even reserved a parking space for us. What a thoughtful touch! The next morning, we had a hearty and varied breakfast, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. Overall, I have absolutely no regrets booking this B&B, and I absolutely give it a thumbs up!

This hotel is quite charming—it’s a large, old house that has been nicely converted into several hotel rooms. Our room was very comfortable. However, a heads-up regarding the bathroom: there was no door on the toilet area, and the shower was an all-glass enclosure. Since I was traveling with my husband, it wasn't an issue for us, but if you are traveling with friends, you might want to be aware of this lack of privacy. The location is excellent! It’s right next to the City Wall and super close to several great restaurants and cool bars. We also liked the service; the staff were quite attentive. One thing I found confusing, though, was that they didn't register my address as per the usual government standard for foreign guests, which most hotels in China follow. As for cleanliness, it was standard for China—there were a few stray hairs in parts of the room (usually women's hair), but I find this happens in practically any hotel here. Overall, it was a good stay!

If you are going to start walking Gong's Village or climbing the top of the public's back from the former pit village, choosing Kejiusi Village's Kesi Inn is the best choice. When the child is older, it will be a little embarrassing. Then the two beds are fixed and cannot be shared. This homestay is very close to the red lighthouse book card. Below the homestay is an entertainment project. You can play four projects in 128. The price is still very high. Children can play high-altitude slides, paddle down, and there is a high-altitude grass slide. You can also get a drink. You can also take pictures and punch in the sky mirror above. There is a dehumidifier in the room, which may be that the humidity on the beach is relatively large. The quality of the matching slippers and combs is very good.
