"The room was pretty good, nice and bright, very satisfied! The hygiene was also good, but I felt the bedding was just average; the sheets were a bit stiff. It felt different from other Sheratons' bedding – not very comfortable.
The front desk service was excellent; they were enthusiastic, efficient, and spoke clearly. Thumbs up!
Breakfast hours were very convenient, and the food tasted alright, but the variety wasn't extensive. Also, there was no one to guide us to a table when we entered, so we had to find our own seats, which felt a bit chaotic.
There's a decent-sized mall with a large supermarket not far from the hotel, which is quite convenient. However, overall, I felt the hotel's location was a bit out of the way; it's quite far from all the tourist attractions. Since we had a car, it didn't bother us much."

"I booked a three-night package deal through Ctrip, and the hotel room was quite spacious and very comfortable. The hygiene and environment were excellent. I'm a bit of a clean freak, so I always wipe down the nightstand and desk with sanitizing wipes when I check into any hotel, and there wasn't a speck of dust here. Also, I drink a lot of water, and the staff were very thoughtful, bringing me several extra bottles. I also dined at the hotel restaurant during my stay; the service was attentive, the food was delicious, and they even gave me a discount. All in all, I was extremely satisfied."

"The hotel's location is great. We drove and there's free underground parking. It was a short taxi ride to Xinrongji restaurant in the evening, and convenient to refuel on our way to the museum the next day.
Check-in was smooth. I requested non-smoking rooms, adjoining rooms, and a high floor when I booked, and all requests were met. The view from the room window was very elegant.
The hotel breakfast had a good selection, and we even received a souvenir gift at check-out.
The staff were very friendly. It was raining when we checked out, and I needed a paper bag for an umbrella. I happened to run into a cleaning staff member and she very kindly provided one. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Taizhou."

"On a whim, my friend and I decided to head to Taizhou for seafood after failing to get train tickets from Shaoxing to Shanghai. We chose to stay at this hotel, which is an older five-star property. From the room's decor and facilities, it's clear they put a lot of thought into the details back then, with many standardized and pre-fabricated elements, which is quite impressive. The breakfast was also excellent, offering many unique dishes freshly prepared in an open kitchen. Compared to other hotels that often serve pre-cooked items, this was particularly commendable. There were even chefs circulating, directly assisting guests and catering to their requests, which was wonderful. We also had lunch at the hotel. The head waiter was very attentive, professionally introducing the dishes to us, and the food itself was superb."

The hotel owner was very generous and took the initiative to help us upgrade the room type. The housekeeper gave us WeChat one day in advance and helped us solve various problems in detail. After arriving at the store, I felt at home. The hotel's bedding is extremely comfortable, the sound insulation effect is also very good, there will be no sound of turning over. The mattress is really as comfortable as other praises say. I especially want to boast about the hotel's slippers and children's slippers. Adult slippers are not small, and children's slippers are also tied! And they are very soft. The fairy chicken of the hotel booked for dinner, my God, it is not exaggerated, the stew is delicious, the pig's trotters are soft and q-pop, and the chicken is soft and deboned. The breakfast on the second day was made by the aunt, the fried dough sticks and hemp balls were crisp and delicious, and the noodles were light and tasteful. A few minutes walk from the hotel to the place where the stream is traced. The water is very clear. The hotel also has a small bucket of water gun fishing nets for children to play. I normally book only five star hotels for my family (my husband, four year old, and myself) and this hotel in Tiantai truly blew us away. The design and decor is gorgeous - it transports you to a zen garden complete with sophisticated greenery and koi pond. The koi pond is beautiful and the fish are so healthy. The hotel staff was also extremely kind and accommodating, Miss Zhang walked us to a restaurant the first day we arrived and DingDing was really sweet to our four year old son. The service was the best and I didn’t feel like I had issues communicating, even with my limited Chinese, and with my family not speaking any Chinese. My husband had work calls with California at a ridiculous hour (4 am to 8 am!) and they let him use the tea room for his video calls. The value for this place is also amazing - this was the least expensive hotel I have stayed in, and also the best! I really feel like this hotel was the passion project of someone who had a grand vision and great taste. The Le Labo toiletries were such an unexpected treat. I have family in Tiantai so I will definitely be back and I can’t wait to stay here again!

GGuest UserThis hotel, touted as a must-stay for Shanghainese visiting Linhai, certainly lives up to its reputation! Or at least, that's what the book 'Linhai is Quite Interesting' claims. It says the building was originally a pawn shop, later transformed into a hotel named 'Yu Tong Feng' by a local owner with a passion for preservation. It remarkably survived the pandemic and has now become one of the two essential spots for Shanghainese tourists in Linhai – since I couldn't get a table at Xīnrongji (which has a 500 RMB tea fee!), staying here felt like a decent compromise. Ah, about the hotel's unique features – as soon as you enter the room, you'll notice them. The most impressive is definitely their bathtub. Just look at the size; it's practically big enough for three people, absolutely incredible! Backing onto Jinshan Mountain and facing the Lingjiang River, perhaps it allows guests to feel Linhai's complex relationship with water, even from their beds.

RRuixueliangyunShenxianju Star Viewing and Yuemu B&B, which we booked online with Ctrip in advance, is very close to the south entrance of Shenxianju Scenic Area. However, we learned that we were going to visit the next day, and after having a free and rich farmhouse special breakfast, the owner personally drove us there. We went there, and after the tour the boss came to pick us up and meet us at the B&B. Although we only stayed for two short nights, we felt very satisfied. Not only was the room comfortable and clean, the facilities were complete, but the service was warm and thoughtful. They took the initiative to help us carry our suitcases to the room where we were staying and introduced Shenxianjunan It is a leisure route suitable for the elderly, entering from the south gate and exiting from the south gate. The main attractions are basically visited, which saves us effort and time without wasting our legs. In particular, some of the intangible cultural heritage handicrafts and wood carving master-level products of the B&B owner are particularly unique and worthy of praise. Secondly, the delicious dishes cooked by the landlady are full of fragrance and taste, and the taste will be unforgettable for a long time. We drank some wine and sang karaoke, and we were in a particularly happy mood. ...Everything is good, worth recommending, take photos for reference.

GGuest UserThis time I came to the rooftop to play, I really dug a treasure when I lived in the Fairy Valley B&B!
The location is absolutely perfect. You can see the Tiantai Mountain Waterfall in the famous hotel. It takes a few minutes to walk to the entrance of the scenic spot. It is super convenient to go back to the hotel after visiting the waterfall. It is not far from the old street of Luxi. You can go to the old street to eat snacks at night.
The details of the homestay are too poking: the room is clean and can't be faulted. The bathroom with separate dry and wet is super comfortable, the bedding is soft, and the night sleeps very soundly. The most pleasant surprise is the terrace book bar on the 3rd floor. In the afternoon, I sat by the window and read a book and played chess. I watched the mountain scenery in the distance with the mountain breeze. The whole person relaxed. The yard is very comfortable, and I can sing with friends at KTV at night, and I have a great time.
The boss has nothing to say! I sent us a detailed play guide from before check-in. The recommended restaurants and routes are super reliable. If you have any questions, you will reply in seconds. He also took the initiative to help us carry our luggage and arrange parking spaces. It feels like being a guest at a friend's house. Next time I come to the rooftop and live here, I really recommend it to friends who come to play!

It's two kilometers from the subway station, so you can bike there, but it's a bit ridiculous that some e-bikes in Taizhou require helmets. There are a lot of great food options right next to the hotel, really so many good places to eat.

GGuest UserWe just checked out today, and honestly this was one of the best experiences I’ve had in China. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. He even upgraded us to a bigger room with a beautiful terrace, a higher floor, and an amazing view, which made our stay even more special.
What touched us the most was how they treated us like guests, not just customers. They invited us to have dinner together, and we spent the evening eating, chatting, and playing games. It felt very warm and authentic.
They also paid attention to every detail. They asked us what time we usually wake up and when we would like breakfast, and in the morning they brought a delicious breakfast directly to our room.
As a foreigner who has been living in China for two years, this is honestly the first time I have felt so comfortable, welcomed, and connected with local people during a stay. It was a wonderful experience that we will remember for a long time.
Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a warm, genuine, and memorable experience.
